Sheets will go here...eventually. Carthrat-leave the 'Vicious additions' off for now, as I'm going to review them-watching Dune's Assassin's game has hinted at places to tighten up.
I'll have instructions for the character specific additions by the time the Prologues finish.
So! Something to ponder for you all. >.>
I originally offered Tristat DX up as a sheet format because it seemed doable, and Dune's Assassins game offered me a wealth of troubleshooters. However, there are murmurings here and there that suggest we might have some problems, so I'll put it to you guys.
Want to change formats?
If so, Would you like to remain essentially the same, and downgrade to BESM (The advantage here is that I could GM that in my sleep, and we could dive into IRC more often, without fears that I'll lose control over things)
But BESM is also somewhat simplistic, and needs adjustments, so suggest another system if you want it. But bear in mind, since there are two of you, I'll only change to a system both of you agree on.
My contempt for EITHER is well documented.
I already have a sheet for Tristat, so let's stick with that.
Edit: Though if you're permitting us suggesting other systems? I'd spring at Exalted or D&D buuuuuuuut they have a learning curve... I guess it's whatever you feel comfortable with.
The reason I'm opening up the floor at all is because watching Assassins has shaken my confidence in being able to GM Tristat effectively. If you're willing to be patient as I get my legs under me, I'll be happy to consider either of those.
/me puts on his Decisive Cap.
I'm not going to jump down your throat on anything you do with Tristat, which is practically an aid to improvisation than *actual rules*. Most of all I'd rather just get going and play with a minimum of fuss. If the rules actually get gay or annoying, I can always bug you about them after the fact, but no point in worrying until you try, right?
/me takes off his Decisive Cap.
but if you learn and run exalted I will also be very happy.
Excellent. This is the kind of input I wanted. Though Rez must weigh in before things are finalized.
I honestly have nol major preerence where systems are involvd. Pick a system an' if I don't know it I'll learn it. :)
Excellent. Ancient Cuneform RP dicesheets GO!
(Seriously, ponderation begins)
. . . huh? :P
Okay! So, here's what we do.
We will leave the sheets as is...with one minor change.
No extras for 'additions' to be in character. Rez has extra points to use for this, and Carthrat, I'm certain, can pare off enough points here and there to use for a vicious skillset.
Fine enough?
