Wizard's Grace

Components: V, S, M
Casting Time: 14 days
Range: Touch

Spell Resistance: No.

This spell permanently increases the target's age categories by 100 years. For example, a human is middle aged at 135 years, old at 153 years, and venerable at 170 years. This spell can benefit a single creature only once, multiple castings have no effect.

Material Component

An apple from the Tree of Idun, a potion of youth or other magical item that permanently reduces the age of a creature by at least 1 year. Herbs, unguents, incense and offerings worth at least 100,000 GP are also required.

Divert Teleport
Conjuration (Teleportation)
Level: Sorcerer/Wizard 8
Casting Time: 1 immediate action; see text
Range: Medium (100 ft. + 10 ft./level)
Area: A circle, centered on you, with a radius of 50 ft. + 10 ft./level
Effect: Diverts the teleportation of any object or creature whose weight does not exceed your maximum load
Duration: 10 min./level (D)
Saving Throw: Will negates (foils diversion)
Power Resistance: Yes (foils diversion)

Similar to detect teleportation, except that you know the intended destination, and you can divert the final destination of any teleportation attempt made by others within the area. This is an immediate action, like casting a quickened spell, and counts toward the limit of one quickened spell per round. You can use this spell even if it is not your turn.

You can divert the destination of both incoming and outgoing teleportations. The spell automatically alerts you to the use of any teleportation effects (incoming or outgoing) an instant before they occur. You must overcome the spell resistance of creatures that possess it to make a successful diversion, and the teleporting creature can make a Will save to foil the diversion as well.

For the purpose of this spell, “divert” means you choose the actual destination of any teleportation attempt you can affect, as if you yourself were teleporting to that location, regardless of the teleportation range of the effect you are diverting. The destination you choose must be a location with which you are very familiar or that you have studied carefully.

Cleaning this up a little further. I'm feeling very obsessive/compulsive tonight.

First off, it references detect teleport. I assume this is another psionic power? Go ahead and elaborate on that power and add it to the description or make it as a lesser spell. So in essence, you can choose a spot for any teleports that come or go within your radius? That's fine.

Oh, yes, I meant to get rid of the reference to Detect Teleportation when I added in the line 'The spell automatically alerts you to the use of any teleportation effects (incoming or outgoing) an instant before they occur.' which basically covers what that spell does.

Just to clarify the diversion part, though. It means that should anyone teleport out of or into the radius, I can choose their destination which can be anywhere I am familiar with. I think you're implying that I could only divert them to a spot within the radius, but it actually send them anywhere within the range of the teleport spell being used (ie anywhere on the plane for Greater Teleport, Greater Plane Shift, Gate, or anywhere within 100 miles per CL for Teleport, or within 500 miles for Plane Shift, or within a few hundred feet for Dimension Door) so long as I'm familiar with where I want them to go.

Okay. That's what I thought, though I think the intent got muddied last night.

Superior Dragonshape
Transmutation (Polymorph)
Level: Sor/Wiz 9
Components: V, S
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: Personal
Target: You
Duration: 24 hours
Saving Throw: Will negates (harmless)
Spell Resistance:    Yes (harmless)

You feel a fire burning deep within you as soon as the magic is cast, liquid flames trailing the arcane words invoking it and licking at your lips! With your arcane might and powerful heritage wedded together such, what could possibly stand in your way?

Your ability to transform to your alternate shape, whether granted by a spell or innate to you, is quickened. The time needed to switch such forms is reduced to a swift action. Transformations that take longer than a full round action to trigger cannot be quickened with this spell.

---

Despite the fluff and being geared towards me, this spell is not actually limited to draconic transformations. I based it on the Greater/Superior Resistance spells that extend daylong bonuses. While the inspiration is still Dragonshape, I'd prefer a strategic spell that gave me the ability to shift better than a 1/battle spell that could transform me quicker in a pinch. As for balance, given Dragonshape (sor/wiz 9) hands you an actual polymorphed adult dragon shape you didn't have before and the 150 temp hp as a swift action, I figured merely quickening the existing standard action transformation I have and dispensing with the temp hp would work. Then again, we lack polymorphs at such level anyway, so it's really up to you.

Alternatives:

Refluffed Dragonshape
Transmutation (Polymorph)
Level: Sor/Wiz 9
Components: V, S
Casting Time: 1 swift action
Range: Personal
Target: You
Duration: 1 round/level
Saving Throw: Will negates (harmless)
Spell Resistance:    Yes (harmless)

You instantly transform to your alternate draconic shape. You also gain 150 temporary hit points, which disappear at the end of the spell's duration.

This is a tweaked Bite of the Wererat Hugo developed. He continues to learn and copy off Alicia and be inspired by Dawnhope.

Grace of the Courre
Transmutation
Level: Sorc/Wiz 3
Components: V, S, M
Range: Personal
Target: You
Duration 1 round/level

You gain a +6 enhancement bonus to Dexterity, a +2 enhancement bonus  to Charisma and a +3 enhancement bonus to natural armor. Your face becomes fairy-like and your form becomes slight, granting you a +4 racial bonus to hide and move silently. You also gain the benefit of the Weapon Finesse feat.
