Neph update: Kinda sorta stomach sick and feeling ill. Not enough to stop me right now but it's been getting worse the last little bit. Just a heads up in case I vanish, though as of now the plan is to grit my teeth through it.

Okay, we're either going to have a late start or no session today. A bit past session start I have to head out and will be at least an hour. Assuming I don't run too late I'll get some posting in, but this is hardly assured. Sorry, got some errands dropped on me and I can't choose the timing of them.

If anyone wants to take it as a down day to rest up/focus on work/watch something/whatever, by all means. I merely ask that you drop a post here so that I know not to expect you in case I do make it in later.  No harm and no foul if you do, since today is going to be marginal.

Today is a struggle. Didn't get to sleep until 5:30.

In happier news, I'm an uncle and the baby is very healthy.
What if they're not stars at all? What if the night sky is full of titanic far-off lidless eyes, staring in all directions across eternity?

Tomorrow might have problems, Dad's having dental surgery. I don't know how or if this'll impact me, we'll see how it goes. Root canals suck.

I found this out last week and forgot to post about it in everything going on.
