Two dentists in one mouth is too many dentists.

My mistake. Will insert one dentist next time.

(I exercised Medical Initiative and went to a specialist dentist that has a laser machine for some fillings, which didn't require anaesthetic. I hate local anaesthetic, it makes me feel woozy for the entire next day. The laser machine was a cool machine, reminded me of a miniature cutting torch. At the next appointment with my ordinary dentist for the remaining fillings, it was a headache coordinating what had been done and what was left to do. Especially since the two dentists turned out to have given conflicting recommendations on which cavities to fill and which to leave alone for now.)

Being sick sucks.  Been in and out of sickness all week.
Well, Goodbye.

Trying to build a computer on my own was a terrible choice.

*pats* It can make great rigs but ...don't enjoy. :(
Well, Goodbye.

I hate hives. That really says it all: For some reason over the past few weeks I've been getting hives. Had 'em before, they suck, hoping they go away. Full body hives are no one's idea of a good time.

Second cat just died, we are now out of cats. Last cat had a rough final year -- allergy swelling in one eye, followed by some kind of undiagnosable inflammatory thing where the vet shrugged and gave us an armful of opioids, followed by a broken hip with amputation and the really powerful opioids, followed by a bout of dentistry with nasty dissolvable stitches, nausea-inducing antibiotics that we had to quickly stop, and more opioids. Always the damn opioids. Soon after that she said "if you're getting dentists involved now, I give up" and stopped eating.

Albeit these veterinary adventures were interspersed with periods of quite normal cat-functioning, on both four and three legs.

To preside over a cat unto the bitter end is educational.

More sobering thing: when I Google to double-check if the vet is having me on and how much opioids it's safe to put in one cat, I find no useful information because the Google is clogged with hand-wringing about people who are fraudulently buying veterinary opioids to feed to themselves.

I'm so sorry to hear that, Ara.

How old was your kitty?

Condolences, losing a pet sucks. Wish there was more I could do than that.

Don't have an exact age, as they were adopted middle-aged without good records. Probably close to 16 years old for the one that just died? A fairly respectable age.

I can't even get my foot in the door anywhere for a job after six months. Ugh. Not even in a field I have nearly a decade of experience in.

I woke up, found out the faucet is leaking. Okay, no big deal, that's not too hard to - wait, it's really pouring after trying to turn it back and it's not stopping.

Craaaaaaap.

Cue $475 plumber's bill. Needed a new faucet and pipes under the sink, ugh.

Also, the job interview today didn't work out plus it was pouring rain when I got out of it. Some days just suck.

Ick, that's some pouring bad luck :(  I really hope things start turning around for you at some point.
