Luna has a really bad day and the wrong Tsukino ends up as Sailor Moon. Only one chapter so far but it made me laugh out loud.

<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Y'know, your description had me thinking it was going to be Shingo who ended up as Sailor Moon. Probably should have realized it'd be Ikuko.
<Cidward> God willing, we'll all meet in Buttquest 2: The Quest for More Butts.

Yep. I still got a kick out of it. It could be really good if it plays up the humor inherent to the idea.

Star Wars AU, pretty good so far. Count Dooku gets a vision and ends up teaching Anakin instead of his canon path. I'm not up on Star Wars all that much so this may be trampling parts of canon, but I do like it.

Enjoyed the last arc of that Voyager SI, but damn, avoid the comment section. Yikes.

Anastasia

Absolutely. I saw that myself, you are soooo right. It's the worst of SB there without any restraints.

Yeah, as a rule I don't read comments on SB threads but I couldn't help myself after that last chapter. Folks there get downright psychotic whenever anyone goes against the protagonist, especially if it's an SI.

It's the worst parts of SB made manifest. SIs in particular bring it out, since I think other posters project their Spacebattles Competence onto them.

https://forums.spacebattles.com/threads/i-didnt-make-it-opm-worm.782704/ tries an...okayish take on Saitama getting lost in worm-world.
You'd think after killing Simurgh (whatever that is) on his way down things would be more fast paced afterwards.

I liked this take on Saitama in worm-world a lot better, thus far:
https://www.fanfiction.net/s/10254848/1/Meh-I-can-take-them-all

It's Saitama around the end of his training. After he breaks his limiter but before he got bored.

Might have been linked before. I'm linking now because I only watched through One Punch Man properly a few months ago, and only really started to get what this Worm thing is about in the past couple of days. (Previously this recs thread was all Worm Worm Worm and I was all, enh.) So I don't remember what all the prior Worm recommendations on this thread have been.

Since I still know little about Worm, I get the following perturbations in my head:
Spoiler: ShowHide

  • I have no idea what a Piggott is, so I imagined a female version of Pig God running the PRT.
  • Coil can construct two timelines and pick one, right? I was amused that he appears to pick the one where Saitama deals the most collateral damage.

Oh, and DK:A still plodding along with dwarven politics and medicine. The cliffhanger is that Ami has to marry a dwarf because diplomacy... or does she really?? Find out next time on DK:A.
That the dead tree with its scattered fruit, a thousand times may live....

I have a complaint!

It's only permitted to lick a little girl in the 2-D world!
Because there are people like you, Japanese manga is regulated.

Arakawa: I remember that one and finding it's take on the bank scene (before I knew what was going on) excessively confusing.  Capturing perhaps the feel that was supposed to go on but just losing me.  They really didn't get anywhere with it, even though it did have some good Saitama moments.
Well, Goodbye.

Dun dun duuuuuun.

Honestly, whenever I glance at DK:A these days, I really hope it's an Earthside update. That's usually more interesting than the dwarf subplot.

Heavy handed on the narration (especially in the early chapters).

Decent.

VRMMO LN.  Very random; I think mostly in a good way (turns a number of cliches on their heads).

-edit-
Having read further in: excessively random.
