I probably won't go to see Kong, if only because the previews didn't appeal to me and because I tend to like the older movies rather than the updates (though King Kong vs. Godzilla rocked). On the other hand, I hear War of the Worlds was awesome, and I thought it was going to be terrible, so I'll keep it in mind.

Frankly, I'm waiting for the 2006 release of Mamoru Oshii's next film, Tachiguishi Retsuden, a film about "eating on the street without paying - the artistry of the tachigui people."

You can't make this stuff up.

Got all the codecs working on my machine.  Am slowly but surely getting used to this resolution.  Got my cygwin bash shell back up (Yay).  And read a few books.  And my final recommender finally sent off his recs!  Thank goodness!
