Today I spent a bit wondering why various things were starting to fail somewhat randomly.

It turned out my recent changes left the program so efficient it was devouring every ounce of bandwidth, creating a situation where the actual bandwidth available to any given vector was too small for the time limit I had previously allowed.  E.g. I was farming to so many machines that my machine couldn't keep up with the data requests.  Yes, annoying...but it's hard not to be amused when you're watching a network profile squeal with 2-5 Mbit/second connections to a dozen machines.

It crashes just as much in UBUNTU as it does in Windows, and I forgot my FTP password (I know, I suck), but Komposer DOES WORK!  Even without my desktop, I can still post my fics in html!

...which is good, because I can't find 3ft for Ubuntu. :p

Yes, I do try and always post to the 'happy' thread after the 'angry' thread.  It seems somehow healthier.
