Hm. I guess it helped for me that I had been expecting the book to be about ten times slower in terms of pacing...
That the dead tree with its scattered fruit, a thousand times may live....

New Michael's store on Yonge St. seems to be doing pretty well. It's hard to say for sure since it's still got that "hey! new!" thing going for it, but we certainly have been getting a lot of visitors.
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

Went to a fun new place, Snakes and Lattes, last night. It's a board game cafe on Bloor st and wildly popular.  We had to wait almost an hour just to get a seat but the game expert introduced us to some fun new games and we enjoyed our stay, even though their AC was broken. =p

Well worth a visit though.  http://www.snakesandlattes.com

Well, Goodbye.

I am sitting at the table in a fancy Italian restaurant with two pregnant women.

I am not the father of either. :D
What if they're not stars at all? What if the night sky is full of titanic far-off lidless eyes, staring in all directions across eternity?

Anastasia

I would hope so! Having two pregnant daughters would suck.

<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

This is not the greatest post in the world, no... this is just a tribute.

Had an awesome lunch. I was craving a calzone and it was awesome.

It is not nearly hot enough today for the cold shower I just took on account of not having hot water in the house right now to have felt refreshing intsead of annoying.

This was initially going to be a bitch. However...

It is not nearly hot enough for the cold shower to feel good. And I'm *totally* okay with it not being that hot.
All About Monks
<Marisa> They're OP as fuck
<Marisa> They definitely don't blow in 3.5
<Marisa> after a certain level they basically just attack repeatedly until it dies
<Marisa> they're immune to a bunch of high level effects
<Marisa> just by being monks

Yeah, it was pretty viciously hot this weekend.  Made me want to buy an air conditioner.
Well, Goodbye.

Yearly 'Make Money' interview shortly...

I dunno whether to put that in bitching or appreciation.
Well, Goodbye.

I've said this before, but our AC unit was the best $120 spent EVER.  It keeps the entire town home in low-to-no humidity and keeps the most used room, with the computers, blessedly cool.  Yaaaaaaaaay for AC!
