Tuned into Twitch Plays Pokemon Emerald for a short watch. Saw something pretty amusing.

In Pokemon Emerald, the updated PC system makes it harder to release pokemon, which was a big issue in the first two TPP games, a lot of pokemon got lost during PC trips.

On the other hand, Emerald turns the PC into a crane/slots game for TPP, where often the party gets reduced to just one pokemon, and then hours of trying to rebuild a decent team.

A lot of the storage boxes had their names garbled into nonsense through the rename feature, and coincidently most were turned into the forest wallpaper.


Today, god knows how, one of the boxes was renamed to "BII SRZ" after the last party decimation through accidental depositing. Which everyone is interpreting as "BE SERIOUS".

It's kinda hilarious watching the channel blitz through that box as they keep trying to get to the deposited pokemon and hopefully get them out.

For the time being, it looks like my job is safe. I'll have a project to charge to after next week, although it looks like a small project and not sure how long that will last.

I have a new job.

I almost can't believe it. But I have have a new job. I'm actually going to walk into my current job tomorrow and render my notice of resignation, effective immediately. I'll have to tell people it's not an April Fools joke. I almost can't believe that this isn't a particularly cruel one that's being played on me.

Today:

- I made my Dad and Mom both happy.
- I had nice Sunday breakfast, lunch AND dinner.
- I spent the day with my friends.
- I avoided anything involving Taco or Bell.

Sometimes the little things are worth appreciating.
