Dungeon Crawling, Round 1!

[Dracos]

Coughing a bit of blood, Ayane put her unearthly focus to work, pulling the arrow from her and seeming to vanish, her thunderous footsteps leading trailing eyes to spot a glimpse of her slipping behind cover.  Breathing hard as she leaned back against the wall, she focused strongly on returning her body to normal and healing the grevious wound.

OOC: Ayane gets points for bravery usually.  Stupidity, not so much.  I run now.  HP 20.  Hiding behind the cover of the wall of the next room.

[Anastasia]

Ayane runs out past Krog, seeing his fully glory of carnage, the spearmen slain! As she hides back and mends her body, you can hear the female child. "I'm ready, brother! Hurry up!"

Krog.

Krog draws upon his inner power and prepares to counter whatever the magical children are preparing, ready to unleash a wave of magical power that will hopefully do the trick.

Krog readies Dispel Magic as a counterspell on whatever the kids are planning. Dispel check is 1d20+8.

[Anastasia]

"Ready, sister?" The boy's voice calls, a quick nod. "READY! Let's do it! Two fighting as one, an endless rain of magic! METEO!" The roof shudders, as-

Casting swiftly, Krog's power shatters the spell! Nothing happens, as, "No-no way! They stopped our spell!" the boy cries.

Ayane, you're up. Archers have no target.

Bloody awesome, Krog~.  Okay, I'll clean up the rest of the chaff then join you on the mages

Ayane heard the pathetic cries of failure and steadying herself, rushed out once more, dashing low to the floor and bouncing up onto krog's shoulders before leaping off at the archers, her chains lashing out before she landed to lash out around the closest one's neck and yank him painfully down with her motion, her spin starting quickly as she dug in with one foot, continuing her painful slicing action as the chain whipped free.

OOC: HP 20, AC 26 against an archer out of range if there is one.  AC 25.  +13 to hit.  +2d4 damage.  Taking into account the anti-prayer.  Disarming any that try to flee at a +21 of doom.

Ayane springs forward and over Krog, rolling deftly past the two mages! She surges towards the archers in a flowing fury, lashing at one! This cracks a chain across his face, doing considerable damages! To this, the girl sags deeply, "We're in trouble," she whimpers, before straightening up! With her power, a golden, shining eagle appears, swooping down at Ayane!

Ayane weaves and dodges, barely breaking her stride as the assault of the celestial eagle fails!

"Krog think little friend can handle rest so Krog go teach children lesson!" Krog exclaims as he moves towards the boy mage, while casting a spell to make sure he does not flee what's coming.

Hold Person, will negates, DC 16.

[Anastasia]

The power of Krog battles against the will of the young boy, but it fails! Instead with a cry he's over the spell, gesturing wildly! "Take THIS!" he turns to Krog, withdrawing a small knife! IT leaps from his hand, going for Krog in a deadly dance of death!

But Krog's armor protects him from the dancing knife, even as it clangs off! Meanwhile, the last armed archer steps back...but Ayane is still in range! Her chain whips out vengefully!

With a whipping blow, the last archer is disarmed!

Turning, Ayane's chain lashed out dangerously as her casual dancing steps brought her close to the mage children, showing no mercy for the young girl as her chains sliced into her tender young flesh.

OOC:  AC 28 against the boy, 27 against the girl.  +11,+6, 2d4.  You know whether or not it is full attack.

Ayane's lash is a fearsome whipping, but the young girl weaves away! The miss is total, as she concentrates...

Another celestial eagle appears, this one on Ayane as it attemps to violate her personal space!

Adjusting for her miss, she was agile as ever, twisting through its wings and claws, but not striking it, the back of her chain instead flying up and  intercepting the charging eagle.

Her chain whips out; another eagle falls! Ayane has successfully beaten it down!

Seeing that the magic approach isn't doing it, Krog gets in close to the boy, provoking an attack, but also getting him into position to grab the boy within his hold so he can teach him a lesson about attacking innocent book selling half orcs! Krog's muscles ripple with magical power, the thought of how he was so harshly attacked just for entering the area empowering him!

Krog is going for a grapple, and activating strength domain power while he's at it (+8 enhancement to Str for duration of round). Touch Attack to initiate grapple: 1d20+15. Grapple Check: 1d20+15.

Charging in, Krog grapples the child! He's crunched good, letting out a feeble moan as he's manhandled! "Let GO of me!" he protests, trying to get out!
