Nosepad on glasses broke. May not be able to play tomorrow, wearing them for long stretches of time Going down to the eyedoc today to get a new perscription(since I'm a couple years overdue for one anyway). Doubt I'll get new glasses by tomorrow though.

G'luck, Gate. Perhaps it can be patched up? I had my glasses break a few months back and they fixed 'em for free and in about 10 minutes.

Yeah, I've generally had really good luck with being able to get small breaks like that fixed for free in <15 minutes by driving by a generic eyeglass shop.  Usually as long as the majority of the frame and the lenses are in good working order, they can be fixed free/cheap.

...I hate to break this news to you guys, especially on the eve of an awesome game. Something has come up that requires my attention; business related. I will be out of town for the remainder of the day. If I do make it back, I will be an hour late for gaming. Possibly two. If Gate is unable to play, perhaps we'll have to call this session a wash?

Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be the case here. Could be because the places are in a mall, and everything in a mall is more expensive?

Jenna's going to see if she can pick up one of those cheap glasses repair kits on her way home from work(we need one with a replacement nosepad, since the pad didn't just come off, it's broken and can't be reattatched). If she can, I'll be able to play tonight. if not...I can try just wearing them without the pad, but it hurts to do such and if it gets too much I'll have to stop.

Gate, have you tried getting a bit of tape and placing that over the pointy-rubby bits of the exposed nosepiece? It's ghetto but it might help.

We missed today's session due to a 1-2 punch of misfortune. This is an unfavorable time to be paused an extra week, since you're stuck in a bitch of a quandry waiting resolution. Is there any interest in a make up session tomorrow or Thursday? I figure this may be preferable to letting this fester another week, but I don't know if it's remotely realistic.
