Oct 24 17:43:16 <Leon>   "Fourth floor from the top, you say? Why, we're right under him, I imagine. Let us find us some stairs and quickly free the poor fellow before the rest of the crew finds some trouble," Leon suggests as he looks around for any signs of stairs. Now...which direction to head in?
Oct 24 17:44:30 <Admiral_Dracos>   No sight of the stairs, but there's not much choice for now.  They can only head north further into the dungeon unless they want to scamper into the venilation as Carlos did earlier.
Oct 24 17:46:31 *   Leon flicks his rapier in the northward direction, a few leftover drops of blood flying through the air and making a splotchy pattern on the ground. "We shall continue...thisaway! Onward!" Leon exclaims as he swaggers off in that direction.

Oct 24 17:51:22 <Admiral_Dracos>   The alarm flared overhead as they rushed, ahead they could spot several of the side corridors beginning to seal themselves off, heavy metal plates being lowered in the way, though the main corridor remained clear still.

Oct 24 17:52:47 <Leon>   "/o...Last time I felt this near to whispered ecstasy~," Leon sings as he begins to dash through the main corridor, waiting for either a set of stairways, a number of goons, or a room to shut off that blasted alarm to reveal itself. Either way, he's entirely ignoring the lowered metal plates. "/o And those who need adventure, they can sail the seven skies~! And those who search for treaure, they must live on grander dreams~!"
Oct 24 17:53:30 <Admiral_Dracos>   Even further ahead, the corridor seemed to twist off to the side, a heavy door blocking the way northward, their sounds of cheers echoing off the walls and competing with the alarm for attention, leaving them a choice to head east or try to get throughl.

Oct 24 17:55:11 <Leon>   "...hrmph," Leon notes as he comes to a stop, both in movement and song. "Glubtz, dear fellow, feel like flexing those muscles of yours?" He taps the door with the tip of the rapier.

Oct 24 17:57:40 *   Leon pauses. "Well, unless you know how to pick locks, Carlos? Wait, does this thing even have locks to pick?" Leon mutters as he realizes he didn't take a good look at the build of the door.

Oct 24 18:14:01 <Admiral_Dracos>   The door was thick, leading to what seemed to be a set of sleeping corridors, a flashing light showing on the wall, along with an alert urging everyone up and at 'em.  There seemed to be some strange contraption of levers embedded into the wall.

Strangely enough, I never paid him attention, and look where it's gotten me," Leon notes as he pulls one of the levers before Glubtz even gets a chance to consider. "Yoink!"

Oct 24 18:48:33 <Leon>   "Thank you for that, Carlos. You think one of the remaining levers might raise the steel doors? Or should we take Glubtz's lesson as a lesson well learned?"

Oct 24 18:55:14 <Admiral_Dracos>   A loud grinding sound from in the room drew their attention, one of the back walls moving out.

Oct 24 19:04:15 <Leon>   "...huh. Well, that might be useful. Let's pull that last lever while we're at it. Hopefully it's not a self-destruct mechanism!" Leon jokes, laughing before pausing. "It's going to be a self-destruct mechanism because I said that, isn't it?"

Oct 24 19:11:01 <Leon>   "Yes, or Rolland. Where -is- that slacker anyway? I haven't seen him since Glubtz and I decided to go exploring. Don't even recall seeing that lazy bum when I rallied the crew to do some looting..."

Oct 24 19:14:59 *   Rolland strolls up behind Leon and eyes the levers before shaking his head, taking a swig of his bottle of wine before offering it to Carlos.
Oct 24 19:15:51 <Rolland>   "I figured it'd be you lot responsible for the lights and alarms. Brought you all a little pick me up I found on the way. I guessed you'd need it right about now."

Oct 24 19:30:54 <Admiral_Dracos>   Looking over at the secret alcove it seemed to be a short passageway to a set of stairs heading up and down, side by side.

Oct 24 19:32:15 <Rolland>   "Yeah, but people don't build secret passages for no reason. Could be loot, could be an escape route."
Oct 24 19:34:03 <Leon>   "We can go check out the down direction later, if it's needed. Meanwhile, looks like we're going up," Leon comments as he starts heading up the stairs.

Oct 24 19:35:31 <Admiral_Dracos>   Heading up, they found it lead to a very similar room, only the doorway seemed closed, a rock wall next to a lever facing them, with a new set of stairs heading up.

Let's clear up after this.  Also of course like thoughts.  I think this session was a bit punchier and quicker than average, even though I still flail more than a bit when I forget a rule or value.  :)

Anyhow, let's finish the rest of 'finding priest, getting out' by play by post.  I'll get us started tomorrow
