[16:14] <Knight> "Very well, then. Ten percent, Mari told me," murmurs Knight, carefully counting out a small pile of coins and setting it aside. "Besides, the food is worth it," she adds, rapidly starting to shovel it into her face.

[16:17] <Knight> When she finishes the meal (which surely doesn't take long), Knight pushes the bowl back and wipes off her lips. "If you want to call me a man, that is fine. Gender is meaningless in my world," she remarks, standing up and pushing in the chair. "Thanks for the meal," she adds, as she heads for the exit.

[16:21] <Knight> They aren't the safest places in the world, but Knight believes an eight-foot spear should dissuade the common thief- leaving only the uncommon ones to mark her. She wanders around to the back of the restraunt, taking a glance around to see who inhabits the backstreets of Hardsoil.
[16:24] <@Kotono> Someone leans against the back wall of the alley. He tosses a pair of dice in the air, wearing a tattered black shirt and green cloth pants. Pointed shoes of wood accompany this, as his steely gray gaze follows the dice he tosses.
[16:29] <Knight> "They say all dice are either lucky or cursed," remarks Knight, approaching from down the street.

[16:35] <Knight> "Games are always tempting," remarks Knight, stopping before the man. "But rather than gold, I'd wager on steel."
[16:36] <@Kotono> "You look like the type," THe man kneels, "Closest to seven, say?" He tosses his dice once more, catching them underpalmed.
[16:39] <Knight> "Certainly. The stakes?" asks Knight, kneeling down as well.
[16:40] <@Kotono> "What you're looking for." He answers, "That's what you're here for, right?"
[16:42] <Knight> "At the moment, a bow. But I'm a collector. I'll consider anything that's useful or unique," replies Knight, cupping her chin.
[16:44] <@Kotono> "Well, let's get to it." With a nod, he hands the dice to Knight. "Roll 'em."
[16:45] * Knight palms the dice and jiggles them a bit, testing them for weights; finding none, she twists her wrists and flicks, like so.

[16:47] <@Kotono> OOC: You can attempt to use your gambling modifier to affect your roll A DC 20 check will let you adjust it one point in your favor. A DC 25 check will move it two places in your favor. Getting a result of 15 or lower will result in a one point loss in your favor. Up to you if you wanna try to edge it in your favor.
