Dec 05 16:37:50 <Kirby-work>   At the end of our last session, our great heroines and heroes fought violently against street thugs that had been ruining the highways of Neo-Tokyo.  As neophyte vigilantes though, they found it a task almost out of their depth, collapsing as the battle took everything they had.  A hospital bed wasn't the nicest of places to wake up, but at least it was safe, as Shizuka and Yuuki awoke side by side in a restricted section of
Dec 05 16:37:50 <Kirby-work>    the nearby hospital Nahito General.  Their room was plain and relatively unadorned, with nobody immediately looking after them, a steady beep of monitor machines let them know that they were definitely being watched.

Dec 05 16:54:07 *   Yuuki looks around, noting Shizuka, the missing Shinobu, the fact that he thought he saw a weird masked guy who spoke in a language he didn't understand at all mid-fight...and looking to see how badly he's hooked up to life-support machines
Dec 05 16:57:21 <Kirby-DM>   They were the only two in this room, but it only seemed big enough for too.  The door suddenly opening as a stern looking young woman stepped in, her red jacket stretched a bit over an ample bosom that drew Yuuki's eyes there instead of up at her dark eyes and purple hair.  "I see you two are awake.  How are you doing?  You had pretty nasty injuries when our retrieval team picked you up."
Dec 05 16:58:18 *   Yuuki indeed is watching teh bewbs. "Ah...yeah, I feel like I got run over. Consecutively. Nothing new, though..."
Dec 05 16:58:39 <Shizuka>   "Since we're still alive, I assume this is one of those cases where we're supposed to say 'You should take a look at the other guy', I imagine?" Shizuka says with a weak smile as she turns to look at the woman.
Dec 05 17:00:38 <Kirby-DM>   "There was no traces of your opponents.  Their bikes and vehicles and the destruction was left behind, but... just fine dust for them.  Your friends are still recovering in the next room.  You should probably take it easy for a few days."  She still hadn't introduced herself.
Dec 05 17:01:19 <Shizuka>   "Where's everyone else?" Shizuka asks.
Dec 05 17:02:07 <Yuuki>   "...Next room.  And...might've been my fault that there wasn't much left."
Dec 05 17:02:45 <Kirby-DM>   "Oh?  What did you do?  The police report said there was quite a bit of artillary fire."
Dec 05 17:03:56 <Yuuki>   "Artillery fire was due to them.  I was responsible for any energy weapon discharge there, though."
Dec 05 17:06:31 <Kirby-DM>   She smiled.  "Your group did pretty well for itself.  We're still trying to collect data on why they were going around wrecking the streets.  Did you two hear anything about that when you were fighting them?"
Dec 05 17:07:32 <Yuuki>   "Not that I can presently recall."
Dec 05 17:07:45 *   Shizuka shakes her head as best she can, grimacing a bit as she takes some effort to sit up on the bed. "They weren't particularly chatty"
Dec 05 17:12:15 <Kirby-DM>   She nodded, taking note of it.  "Well, maybe they will just be a one off."  She handed a card to Shizuka.  Lieutenant Misato Katsuragi of the Extraordinary Affairs Division?  "Get in contact with me if you think of anything.  Would you like me to see if your friends are up to joining you in here?"  She asked as she got up, getting ready to go.
Dec 05 17:12:37 <Yuuki>   "Sure." Yuuki nods
Dec 05 17:16:14 *   Shizuka nods with Yuuki's statement.
Dec 05 17:18:24 <Kirby-DM>   She nodded.  "Alright, you rest up."  She left, a few minutes later wheeling Shinobu in on a wheelchair next to Shizuka's bed.  If they glanced around for entertainment, there was a small tv in the corner of the room, a controller on the counter between their two hospital beds.  The woman left shortly after making sure they were comfortable, leaving the trio alone.
Dec 05 17:20:02 *   Shinobu cracks an eye open and looks around.
Dec 05 17:20:42 <Shinobu>   "So, I'm assuming things didn't end up well for us? I don't remember much.."
Dec 05 17:21:30 <Yuuki>   "...from my point of view, It ended in lots of bullets.  They said there was only dust left of the other guys, though."
Dec 05 17:22:05 *   Shinobu nods and winces as she tries to sit up.
Dec 05 17:23:14 *   Shinobu grins at Yuuki.
Dec 05 17:23:19 <Kirby-DM>   Soreness, yes.  But Shinobu could move and could get out of her wheelchair.  She probably wouldn't enjoy it though.
Dec 05 17:23:51 <Shinobu>   "I saw you eyeing our visitor as she left Yuuki-kun. Shall I do something nice for you?"
Dec 05 17:24:39 <Yuuki>   "...eh?"  Yuuki blushes slightly at the realization that he was caught staring.
Dec 05 17:25:26 *   Shinobu chuckles and weaves a projection of Misato, clad only in black, lacy lingerie, which then poses and blows a kiss to Yuuki.

Dec 05 17:27:05 *   Shinobu has the projection run a finger down her lips and moans before dismissing it.
Dec 05 17:29:43 *   Yuuki definitely has a pair of blood trails running down from his nose at this point
Dec 05 17:30:07 *   Shinobu chuckles at Yuuki again.
Dec 05 17:30:18 <Shinobu>   "So, now that we're all awake.. What's the next step?"
Dec 05 17:31:26 <Yuuki>   "Well...we've been told to just get some rest...eh."  Yuuki looks over to and reaches for the remote.  Maybe there's one of those gameshows on where people fall off of things in hilarious ways.
Dec 05 17:36:58 <Shinobu>   "Hmm.. I'd rather rest at home than here, to be honest."
Dec 05 17:37:24 <Kirby-DM>   The tv flashed on as nobody could answer Shinobu's question.  A news cast about a government agency being taken down after going rogue the story of the hour.  The tv seemed to flicker a bit though, the lights flashing off and on with it, as if power just was getting fluxuated.
Dec 05 17:38:29 <Yuuki>   "...the hell?  ...I wonder if it's been doing that here for a while."
Dec 05 17:39:25 *   Shinobu sniffs at the TV, unimpressed and uninterested in it, and rolls over to Shizuku, looking her over.
Dec 05 17:39:38 <Shinobu>   "Are you alright, Shizuku?"
Dec 05 17:40:47 <Yuuki>   "She was...probably in the same hail of bullets that I was."
Dec 05 17:40:51 *   Shizuka yawns in reply. "I'm a little sleepy...must be whatever pain medication they used."
Dec 05 17:41:32 *   Shinobu nods and relaxes a bit in the wheel chair, resting herself.
Dec 05 17:42:58 *   Yuuki flips through the channels at this point. "Guess the rogue government thing might lead to more jobs in the future, anyway..."
Dec 05 17:43:18 <Kirby-DM>   The lights suddenly went out, leaving the three of them in the dark.  The sounds of various screams of surprise carried from far away.

Dec 05 17:53:05 <Shizuka>   "I'm sure it's nothing to worry about," Shizuka says calmly, with a bright smile that the other two probably can't see. "It's not like our enemies know that we're injured, our location, and have come to finish the job, right?"
Dec 05 17:54:02 <Yuuki`>   "...you're really tempting fate there, Shizuka."
Dec 05 17:54:54 <Shinobu>   "I'm sure the news wasn't covering that fight, either. And I'm also sure they didn't show us being loaded into ambulances. And I'm also sure the hospital name wasn't on the side of those ambulances, either."
Dec 05 17:55:00 *   Shinobu deadpan replies to Shizuka.
Dec 05 17:55:40 <Shizuka>   "See? Even Shinobu agrees with me," Shizuka says brightly. Either she's really obstuse, or she's making fun of them. It's hard to tell.
Dec 05 17:55:50 <Kirby-DM>   Despite their clamor, no one seemed to open the door and dramatically threaten them.
Dec 05 17:56:40 <Shinobu>   "What bothers me is, don't hospitals usually have independent back up generators? What with all the life support..."

Dec 05 17:58:19 *   Yuuki` sits up and tries to move--to see how bad it hurts, if nothing else.
Dec 05 18:00:36 <Kirby-DM>   A beep was heard their life monitors started up again, a red glow from under the door giving them very little light to work by.  Yuuki found that similar to the others, he was sore all over, but could move.
Dec 05 18:03:03 <Yuuki`>   "...it's better than nothing at the very least."  Yuuki tries to get up, taking off any electrodes(or whatever they are) and looking in the room for his signature gear...
Dec 05 18:03:09 <Shinobu>   "So, do we wheel ourselves out and about and find out what's happening?"
Dec 05 18:03:42 <Yuuki`>   "If there's something in here, I'd rather find it than it find me."
Dec 05 18:04:12 *   Shinobu sighs and adjusts herself before pushing out of the wheel chair with a wince..
Dec 05 18:04:22 <Kirby-DM>   Nothing in the room, but they wouldn't have taken it far.  They were vigilantes after all.  Though with the three of them in just hospital gowns it felt kind of silly going on the offense.
