050.8 "Wanna get rewarded, Whurric?"

[21:06] <Kotono> Whurric and Yuria swim off, traveling along further. With a smile as she swims backwards, slowly smiling, "Isn't this nice?" she asks.
[21:13] <Whurric> "It is. Not as cold now either."
[21:18] <Kotono> "Well, aren't I nice too," Yuria says with a little wiggle of her body, "Since it's just thet wo of us...wanna go skinny dipping with me?" With another winsome smile as she takes Whurric's arm, "Just the two of us, and we'll see if you can't catch me again?"
[21:23] * Whurric ponders it briefly and laughs. "Well... why not? We're far enough from the others..."
[21:24] <Kotono> "C'mon!" Yuria urges, swimming ahead, "Take 'em off and catch up with me! If you do..." She gives Whurric a smile that could melt ice, licking her lips before she swims off!
[21:27] * Whurric does just that, though unlike Yuria, he doesn't do it quite as fast. Once he's done though, with a pile of clothes in one arm, begins swimming after Yuria.

[21:31] <Kotono> Whurric has severe trouble moving and swimming! Yet Yuria never quite gets out of range...in fact, with a half stumble he catches up at last! Yuria giggles and darts forward, glomping onto him! Her legs wrap around his middle, pressing into him, "Congrats! Like, you totally deserve a special reward!" Leaning in close, "Wanna get rewarded, Whurric?"
[21:33] <Whurric> "S'long as you don't mind giving a reward, how could I say no?"

[22:00] <Kotono> A little while later Whurric and Yuria return to the beach. Clothes are back on, but Yuria is positively radiant. She walks with Whurric, clinging to her shoulder as the two drip water. Glancing around at the party, "Like," she says in a slow voice, "How about we totally just go home," she says with a winsome smile, "Forget all the rest of this for the night?"
[22:03] * Whurric nods, smiling widely himself, though he does pause. "Well, we probably should let one of the others know we didn't drown out at sea...no reason we can't once we find one of them though."
[22:04] <Kotono> Yuria looks around, seeing Josa and pointing. She shouts, Josa turning and seeing her wave. He waves back, Yuria turning back, "Shall we go now?"
[22:09] * Whurric laughs. "That was...pretty convinient. But yes, let's go."

[22:14] <Kotono> The next day is a sunny one. Whurric and Yuria do manage some sleep and come to Whimisical Sweets on time. Only Josa is there, the shop closed. He's sitting inside, whistling and reading from a thick tome. "Ah, Whurric! Yuria! Greetings this fine morning!"
[22:16] <Whurric> "Fine morning it is," Whurric agrees cheerfully.
[22:24] <Kotono> "Amen," Josa says, closing his book, "We're closed today. I'm a little under the weather, as I'm sure the others are. The last time I saw most of them, they were charging off to the city for something or another, soaking wet and in their bathing suits." Shaking his head with a rueful chuckle, "The deviltry of drinks can be most lurid."
[22:26] <Kotono> "Sure, whatever," Yuria sits down atop a counter, looking down at it's treats inside, "So like, I had fun!"
[22:27] * Whurric laughs. "And yet, we mortals cannot resist it's siren call," Whurric comments to Josa. "And yes, fun was most certainly had."
[22:29] <Whurric> "Oh, sort of random maybe, but how's the expansion process going along for the store? You haven't really talked about it since that...whole messy situation."
[22:31] <Kotono> "It's been briefly backburned but I'm about to resume it," Josa says, "In a week's time or so, as a matter of fact." A decisive nod, "Whimsical Sweets shall expand for the sake of those left behind!"
[22:32] * Whurric smiles quietly at that.
[22:35] <Kotono> "Yes," Josa nods, "Though we shouldn't talk of it more until the others arrive. Hopefully it will be soon, but I hav emy deep doubts."
[22:36] <Whurric> "Oh?"
[22:40] <Kotono> "I suspect the hang over sthey'll have will be substantial," Josa retorts simply.
[22:41] <Whurric> "Hah, lightweights."

[19:52] <Kotono> "Like yeah," Yuria giggles, "We totally found a way to have fun without drinking! It was nice not waking up with a sore head!"
[19:53] <Kotono> "Mmm-hmm, truth again," Josa says with an extravagant smirk, "I must second that. I find the deeper parts of revelery to escape me. Why have a good day to ensure a miserable tomorrow, such is short sighted."
[20:02] <Kotono> "So.." Yuria stretches back, "Free day then? Nothing to worry about at all?"
[20:05] <Whurric> "If there's nothing to do...did Yuria ever get a crack at that tome, Josa?" Whurric muses. "Might get some interesting knowledge out of it if not."
[20:06] <Kotono> "Oh, a fantastic idea!" Josa nods, rising, "A fine an idea as any to carry the day!" Dusting off his stomach and knees, "Shall we?"
[20:08] <Whurric> "Heh, let's go then. Hopefully you don't end up with a headache like my brother had that first time."
[20:08] * Whurric smiles at Yuria, though doesn't say much more about the tome. Josa will probably spill the beans along the way.
[20:13] <Kotono> Thus you travel. It's a fun trip into the Crimson Guard's stronghold, the group reaching the Infinite Codex! Yuria gives it a look, "So like, I just keep reading this book and something totally magical happens? That sounds really easy."
[20:14] <Whurric> "Yes well, there's a small chance that all you end up with is a headache, and the wait while someone else is reading can be kind of boring, but it really is that simple," Whurric agrees.
[20:17] <Kotono> "Alright!" Yuria nods quickly, going up to the book, "I'm totally going to ace this!" With that she stats reading! As she does Josa settles down to sit, pulling out a deck of playing cards from his pocket. "Cards?" he offers, "This does take a goodly time."
[20:20] <Whurric> "You came prepared for a top of my head remark," Whurric says with a grin as he sits down as well, tapping the spot between the two of them. "Deal away."
[20:20] <Kotono> "A wise chef is already prepared," Josa grins, as...

[20:21] <Kotono> Hours pass! At last Yuria looks up as Whurric draws a few more cards, groaning, "Oooooow!" she cries, standing up and stumbling back.
[20:21] <Kotono> Josa looks up, "Ah, I see the results are what I feared they may be," Josa remarks, "Are you unwell, Yuria?"
[20:24] * Whurric grimaces and stands up to pat Yuria and help support her. "Sorry, guess you drew the headache chance after all..."
[20:31] <Kotono> "Yeah. Hea...hurt. Hurt." With a brainless smile she looks to Whurric and hugs onto him. "Friend. Friend! FRiend!" She sing-songs it, quite cling.

[20:32] * Whurric blinks. "Uh, yep," he says with a smile then turns to look at Josa with questions in his eyes. "This... seems a bit beyond the headache my brother had?"
[20:34] <Kotono> Josa scowls and shakes his head, "Her mind may have been overwhelmed. Let's give her some rest and see, perchance?"
[20:34] * Whurric nods, and just waits there.
[20:42] <Kotono> Yuria clings to Whurric, "Friend!" she says, smiling all the while, "Like!" Such is her discourse for a few minutes, before Josa sighs, "She may need some restorative magic. Perhaps her mind is not strong enough."
[20:50] * Whurric sighs as well. "I wish my brother had stuck around, would have helped to have him handy. Balyss is probably too hungover to help..."
[20:52] <Kotono> "Let's just take her home," Josa says, "If she's not better tomorrow we'll look into that magic." With that Josa rises, "Sleep can help these things if the damage isn't too severe."
[20:53] * Whurric nods. "I can take her if you'd like to stay here and read the book yourself, Josa."
[20:59] <Kotono> "Nonsense, I'll walk with you," Josa starts to go, "Come along, Yuria."
[21:00] <Kotono> "Fluffy," Yuria smiles at Josa, all happiness and innocence.
[21:02] * Whurric nods and leads the way back home.
[21:03] <Kotono> Thus you walk along and along! As you go through the mid-afternoon and it's cool weather, Josa glances over at her. "Will you need any help with her, or are you just going to put her abed?"
[21:06] <Whurric> "Bed, I suppose. I'll keep her company either way."
[21:07] <Kotono> "Bed. Fun." Yuria giggles, "Fun. Fun. Penis fun." she nods seriously.
[21:08] <Kotono> Josa starts to reply but chortles instead, "Ah." Clearing his throat, "Clearly Yuria's mind is still clouded."
[21:12] * Whurric coughs, some color showing up in his perpetually pale face. "Well, that's... not the company I had in mind when I originally said that..." he pauses and looks between Yuria and Josa then says in a polite tone, "Aaaanyway, I'm sure you have a lot to do preparing for the business' expansion and such, Josa..."
[21:24] <Kotono> "I'll take the pro-offered hint," Josa nods once and turns away, "If you excuse me!" At that the wide elf promptly hurries away, leaving just Yuria with Whurric.
[21:26] * Whurric snorts and shakes his head, and waits until Josa is out of sight before turning back to Yuria. "Well then, to bed with you, lass," he says as he escorts her inside.
[21:29] <Kotono> "Bed!" Yuria looks right to Whurrica s they go inside, her gaze rather low on him. Right at that one part, "Bed!"
