Is there a way to make this into an Ioun Stone? Since I've got a couple that float around me already, I figure keeping the theme going won't hurt unless it's exceedingly expensive.

There's really no reason why not. I believe it's priced like an ioun stone and functions like one, so if you want one like that, I see no problem with it.

Posting expense of 53,750gp for the Knowledge/Spellcraft Ioun Stone. Is there a color or something for it or is Knowledge/Spellcraft Ioun Stone good enough?

What's the altered ioun stone do? Will pay 100g for ID if needed, but can I figure it out from Detect Psionics and Psicraft alone?

This gives Surraruthru a total of 64,522.77gp.

He then spends 53,750gp for the Knowledge/Spellcraft Ioun Stone leaving him with 772.77gp.
