Hmm.. I'd like to play a Precision Weapons Specialist style character. Something like Mana from Negima. Sniper focused with a side of pistols/assault rifles for the close in stuff. I was thinking of having the 'magic' twist on the character being multiple types of magic bullets. Seems easy enough of a concept to run with.

Could also supplement with being like a battlefield comms. Call for fire, yo. Sniper/Forward Observer/Forward Air Control.

Well, somewhat unintentionally, Yukari and Kuyou happen to already have a good base for being a cohesive unit.

A ranged overseer to pick off targets of opportunity and manage comms between us and the other pair would actually be pretty damn awesome, Iddy.  (Also, digging the new sig.)

Yeah, I think I'll go with the Mana Tatsumiya type character. I figure I can have a trait be to 'infuse' a bullet/magazine with a magical effect. To make sense, it'll likely have to infused before-hand. Being able to do it on the fly while firing seems a little over the top to me.

And yes, Brian, it could be awesome. I actually know how to do it, too =) Over-watch, Radio Operator, and all manner of call-for-fire.

Thought: Well, we are part of some coalition.  It could provide a quality home medic setup, in which case simply getting back alive would be enough.

I was originally thinking I'd be the one to pull off any last-minute rescues (movement/sound based), and have enough survivability so I could act as a lure/goad to split up enemies or herd them into traps.  Mechanically this probably falls into debuffing again, but that's actually a useful slot in a squad with more than three people anyway.  No healing this time, though....

After thinking about things, probably I will actually be the worst at doing damage with my powers.  But then, if I play my cards right, I'll hardly ever need to.  Even normal guns may be sufficient much of the time; who knows?

Anyway, if no one else is it, I'll add lancer to my stoic. :p

Vaguely poking interest. RL stuff is starting to settle down and it looks like I may be able to play. Not sure if the premise of this game entices me, though. I was kinda hoping for another straight up D&D game.

But if there's room, I'll start thinking up character concepts.

Well, if we get a sixth player (and you want to be a magical boy anyway), it seems we could use a medic/interrogator (though, with this many players I'm sure we can figure out who gets those roles), and Iddy's character could use backup for us to be able to break into horrific murdering two-person groups.

Well, I reckon its because we're good guy focused, and not fascist traitor focused.  But that could just be me.

And uh, weeks?  Anyhow, g'luck, but as I mentioned in the chat, I think if we bring seven people to dune's table, one or more of them is going to walk away holding the 'too many players' bag.
