[19:52] <Kotono> roll 2d6
[19:52] <Rei-chan> Kotono rolled : 2d6 --> [ 2d6=4 ]{4}
[19:54] <Kotono> roll 1d100
[19:54] <Rei-chan> Kotono rolled : 1d100 --> [ 1d100=97 ]{97}
[19:54] <Kotono> roll 1d100 uh oh
[19:54] <Rei-chan> Kotono rolled : 1d100 uh oh --> [ 1d100=24 ]{24}
[19:59] <Kotono> On you fly in the Silver Sea, passing through the endless expanses of emptiness. How long you fly is a meaningless question, a pointless endevour to answer. On you fly and you fly and you fly. Then...? As you fly, you see it to your side. Swaying palm trees around an oasis lake, a chunk of land merely floating in the Astral. The scent of water tickles your nose, flowing out from the lake to the
[19:59] <Kotono> edge, plunging down into the Silver Sea and making several waterfalls.
[20:00] <Afina> It might've been years since Afina last ate, and even if she feels no hunger it would still be nice to taste something again. "Do you think there's a pool somewhere in there?" she asks Jaela as their designated expert on all heavenly matters.
[20:02] <Jaela> "Sure," Jaela responds with a shrug. "As likely as anywhere on Astral, except we'll actually have scenery instead of the same old drabness. Let's take a closer look?"
[20:05] <Afina> Glad to hear it, Afina veers off towards the oasis, attentive for any prior inhabitants as she flies over it before coming in to look for food.
[20:06] * Ithea also helps search the small oasis, floating closer towards it.
[20:06] * Willim heads along in case there's food.
[20:06] <Kotono> Thus the party approaches! The lake is quite large, full of crystal-blue waters. Save for a golden retreiver dog that's napping besides the pool, no one is about. Fruits of various types hang from the trees, swaying gently in the astral breeze.
[20:08] * Afina has little time for dogs, symbols of civilisation's encroachment on the sacred wilds as they are, thus she'll leave the dog alone if it leaves her alone. Instead she examines the fruits to make sure they're safe to eat...
[20:08] <Afina> roll 1d20+19 survival
[20:08] <Rei-chan> Afina rolled : 1d20+19 survival --> [ 1d20=6 ]{25}
[20:09] <Kotono> The fruits are quite safe to eat. They're various celestial varieties, blessed and nutritious.
[20:09] * Willim eyes the dog spculatively.
[20:10] <Jaela> Puppy! Where there's a dog, there would be a master, and there is nothing to be lost by greeting them in case they're shy and in hiding. "Hello? Anyone here?"
[20:10] <Kotono> The dog looks to Willim and yawns.
[20:11] <Afina> "I think we're close the heavens, considering the fruits," Afina tells the others, pulling off a peach bigger than her head and taking a big bite out of it.
[20:11] <Kotono> It's quite a juicy peach, it's fuzz tickling Afina's nose as she takes a deep bite.
[20:12] <Jaela> "Hello," Jaela repeats, taking care to pronounce her words clearly. "We are looking for a way to Elysium, and a short resting stop if none can be found here."
[20:13] <Kotono> Adrian looks about, "Ah, what are you talking to? Is the dog's look communication, Jaela?"
[20:14] * Willim hunches down and eyes the dog some more. "Is you here alone?"
[20:14] <Kotono> The dog looks up at Willim, most unimpressed.
[20:14] <Jaela> "Thanks!" Jaela responds, before turning toward Adrian. "I think I'm talking to the owner of the oasis. He told me there's a portal to Elysium at the bottom of the lake. I don't suppose you're good at swimming? I just sink like a rock."
[20:15] * Willim blinks, looks around, then ever so gently pats the dog on the head.
[20:15] <Kotono> "So what if I do? But as it so happens, I'm a natural at swimming. It's in my blood," Adrian retorts, going to the edge of the lake.
[20:16] <Kotono> The dog looks up and licks Willim's hand, all its attention now on the half-troll.
[20:16] <Ithea> "At the bottom? Ugh, what an inconvinient place to place a portal," Ithea says with obvious distaste. "I can swim well enough, I think. Haven't drowned yet anyhow..."
[20:16] <Afina> Taking several more huge bites and chewing them dowm, Afina floats over the water and summons another floating disc, placing her sack on it. She was about to take her clothes off and go for a soak before she looks over, sharp pointy ears hearing Jaela's words. "The portal's down there? Can you move through water as easily as you can move through air, here?"
[20:17] <Jaela> "I'm sure there are plenty others," Jaela tells Ithea with another shrug. At Afina's question, she gestures helplessly. "I dunno, but if it's just going down I could manage that easily enough in my armor."
[20:18] * Willim takes he dog's head in both hands and scruffles it's fur. "Hehe, nice doggie."
[20:20] <Afina> "Well, anyone want to stick around here or shall we go now?" Afina asks, dangling off her floating disc over the centre of the pond.
[20:20] <Kotono> The dog rubs up against Willim, licking him occasionally as they play. Meanwhile Adrian just looks down, "Come now, a little water won't...oh, I see. You take after a typical cat," With a snort, "Afraid of getting your fur wet?"
[20:20] <Ithea> "No, if this leads the way it's fine. Inconvinient, but it's more inconvinient to keep wandering around trying to find another entrance, and there's no guarantee the next place is more convinient anyhow," Ithea waves off Jaela's reply.
[20:21] <Jaela> "Water makes my armor really uncomfortable," Jaela tells Adrian. "And in case this is some sort of test, can you just swim down and check?"
[20:21] <Afina> Taking that to mean they're going, Afina tightens the string on her sack to try and stop things floating out in the water, then dives in with a tiny splash, her floating disc going after her to the portal at the bottom. If there is one.
[20:22] * Ithea frowns at Adrian, but holds back a retort, deciding it's not worth it. Instead, she starts wading into the water after the pixie.
[20:23] <Kotono> Adrian shrugs, leaping into the water, armor and all! Despite that he swims down smoothly enough, into the crystalline-blue depths. He comes back up perhaps a minute later, shaking his head clean. "It's down there," He reports, "The water's cold, be warned."
[20:23] * Jaela smirks. "Not a problem!" With another thought of thanks towards the oasis's mysterious owner, she takes a deep breath and walks into the waters.
[20:25] * Willim watches everyone wade into the water and pats the dog. He fishes out a bit of dried meat and offers it to the dog before heading to go in as well. "Bye bye doggy."
[20:27] <Kotono> The dog happily gobbles down the meat as the party takes off into the water! It takes about a half minute to go down, deep into the waters! Here at the very bottom lies a color pool, pure white. Adrian points to it, before swimming on and through it!
[20:28] * Jaela just walks through it rather than try and swim awkwardly in full plate. Holding her breath down for this little is not a problem.
[20:29] * Afina swims through along with her floating disc, anticipating a return to gravity once through.
[20:30] * Ithea also swims towards the portal, albeit a bit more akwardly than Afina and Adrian.
[20:31] <Kotono> Swimming through the portal is like letting go. Worries and cares leave you, white light embracing you. A sense of love, caring and peace saturates you to the core as...water. You're still in water. Beautiful, clear blue crystal water. A little ways up, you can see the surface, light shining bright. As if you're in another lake, albeit larger than the previous one.
[20:32] * Jaela doesn't dawdle, immediately beginning to walk towards the surface!
[20:32] * Willim flaps his arms as he rises, pushing himself upward.
[20:33] <Kotono> OOC: Swim checks, all.
[20:33] <Afina> roll 1d20
[20:33] <Rei-chan> Afina rolled : 1d20 --> [ 1d20=2 ]{2}
[20:34] <Ithea> roll d20+4

[20:34] <Willim> roll 1d20+16

[20:34] <Kotono> roll 1d20+23 Adrian
[20:34] <Rei-chan> Kotono rolled : 1d20+23 Adrian --> [ 1d20=5 ]{28}
[20:35] * Jaela just keeps on walking while she feels she has enough air in her lungs. There is no need for desperation moves such as swimming in full plate just yet! She does, however, avail herself of the armor's haste enchantment.
[20:37] <Kotono> Willim and Adrian rise up easily enough, reaching the top! You are in a large, cold lake. Mountains rise around you, a river from the mountains above flowing into the lake and one flowing down of it. The sky is a breath-taking shade of blue, dotted with white clouds. Meanwhile Ithea and Afina struggle and get nowhere and Jaela stomps towards the edge of the lake. It's a ways away and the bottom
[20:37] <Kotono> is muddy, but with haste she thinks she should be able to make it.
[20:38] <Afina> She's a pixie not a nixie, and thus doesn't want to drown. Thus Afina quickly swims the rest of the way... only to find that it's a lot harder when she isn't moving at the speed of thought. Falling back onto her floating disc, she dispatches it after Jaela since it can't float away from a solid surface, only using it for a momentary brace so she can kick her legs off it and try to gain some
[20:38] <Afina> momentum for swimming the rest of the way.
[20:38] <Afina> roll 1d20
[20:38] <Rei-chan> Afina rolled : 1d20 --> [ 1d20=12 ]{12}
[20:38] * Jaela offers Afina her hand and waits just a second to see if she would like to come with her.
[20:39] <Afina> Stay on the bottom with all that metal? Not on your life!
[20:39] * Jaela proceeds on her way, then!
[20:40] * Ithea does her best to adjust to the new plane conditions as she keeps trying to swim back for air.
[20:40] <Ithea> roll d20+4 swim
[20:40] <Rei-chan> Ithea rolled : d20+4 swim --> [ 1d20=10 ]{14}
[20:40] <Kotono> Thus the other two come up as well! Air fills their lungs as they see the same thing as Willim and Adrian.
[20:40] <Kotono> Meanwhile below Jaela stomps along, coming closer and closer to the edge and risingup.
[20:42] <Jaela> "Ah, Elysium," Jaela mutters, squeezing water out of her hair once she is out of the lake.
[20:43] <Afina> Fluttering across onto the bank, Afina lands and catches her breath, looking all around her and simply taking in its natural splendour... it's not the forest, but given how awkward she felt in Arvandor that's really a positive anyway. There's no sign of civilisation in any direction, though, and that draws a smile to her lips.
[20:43] * Ithea starts to shake her limbs and hair trying to get a little bit more dry as soon as she gets out of the water, while taking a glance around, trying to see if she can tell anything in particular from their surroundings that can help place just where in Elysium they are.
[20:43] <Kotono> Adrian comes out near Afina, sitting there and dripping dry. OOC: K:P here, Ithea.
[20:44] <Willim> "This place very different." Willim says, looking around.
[20:45] <Ithea> roll d20+20 K:P
[20:46] <Rei-chan> Ithea rolled : d20+20 K:P --> [ 1d20=16 ]{36}
[20:46] <Afina> "I like it," Afina pronounces, nodding as her baggage train catches up. Sadly it's not warm enough to properly dry, so she'll settle for a bit of magic, prestidigitating a warming updraft that nearly instantly dries off her body and clothes, following up with more of the same on her belongings. "If anyone's cold I can dry them off."
[20:46] <Kotono> The air just this side of cool, a steady wind blowing. It drives a faint chill into you and rustles your hair, as Adrian leans back. "I was so tired of the Silver Sea," he says, as abruptly he winces. His stomach growls loudly, as does all the other's. The distinct discomfort of strong hunger pangs take you, as if you haven't eaten in awhile - save for Afina, who is only hungry instead.
[20:48] <Ithea> "I'd appreciate some drying, Afina," Ithea requests as she stops trying to squeeze water out of her hair and fur. "Seems like we're somewhere in Eronia..." she adds as she keeps looking around.
[20:48] <Kotono> "Yeah," Adrian groans, "And now I'm hungry as death, too."
[20:48] <Willim> Quite used to being hungry all of the time, as he never really stopped being so in the Astral Plane, Willim doesn't react beyond pulling out another piece of meat from his pouch and gnawing on it.
[20:50] * Afina busily flutters around drying off everyone who needs it, confident a group such as this can see to their own feeding without needing her help.
[20:52] <Jaela> Thankful that she wouldn't rust all over, Jaela decides to put her hunger pangs on hold for the moment. "Let's see if we can find the natives?" she suggests. "Maybe they'll know where our guy is hanging out these days."
[20:52] <Kotono> Adrian settles for taking out several trail bars, tearing into them one after another. After that he rises, tossing a single bar to Jaela. "We need to find Galariel now. Hopefully he's nearby."
[20:54] <Ithea> "Thanks!" Ithea says with a happy smile once the little pixie helped dry her. , before nodding at Jaela's and Adrian's words. "Not sure how likely it is we'll find him in this layer, but maybe we'll be lucky."
[20:54] <Jaela> "Thanks." Jaele uses the trail bar to tide her by. "As long as we're here for only a few days, it's all good."
[20:55] <Afina> "You think we'll be that quick?" Afina asks. "I heard theses places were all bigger than Lifasa."
[20:56] <Jaela> "It's a Heaven. They tend to be tricky and help you out. Wouldn't really be impossible."
[20:57] * Willim nods in thanks at Afina, looking around. "Where we go first then?"
[20:59] <Jaela> "There's a river. Civilization's always near one, so we just follow it to its source."
[21:01] <Afina> "Not to the sea?" Afina asks, pointing downstream. "The high places always held out longer..."
[21:01] <Jaela> "Either way's fine, really. I guess the climbing thing stuck from Celestia with me?"
[21:04] <Afina> Downstream it us, so off they go? Afina is happy enough to stick with everyone else, only doing a little foraging here and there to supplement her rations and ensure she doesn't go hungry.
[21:08] <Kotono> roll 1d100
[21:08] <Rei-chan> Kotono rolled : 1d100 --> [ 1d100=74 ]{74}
[21:08] <Kotono> OOC: If any of you are foraging like Afina said, make a survival check for reference?
[21:08] <Afina> roll 1d20+19
[21:08] <Rei-chan> Afina rolled : 1d20+19 --> [ 1d20=5 ]{24}
[21:09] <Jaela> roll 1d20+23
[21:09] <Rei-chan> Jaela rolled : 1d20+23 --> [ 1d20=17 ]{40}
[21:09] <Ithea> roll d20+3 I hope Jaela and Afina tell me if I pick up something poisonous!
[21:09] <Willim> roll 1d20+11 hoping to surprise some woodland animal to death
[21:09] <Rei-chan> Willim rolled : 1d20+11 hoping to surprise some woodland animal to death --> [ 1d20=4 ]{15}
[21:09] <Rei-chan> Ithea rolled : d20+3 I hope Jaela and Afina tell me if I pick up something poisonous! --> [ 1d20=3 ]{6}
[21:12] <Kotono> Several hours pass. Night falls as you travel across rugged terrain. Food is procured - a few mistakes by Ithea are stopped, but otherwise gathering supplies as you travel isn't too hard. Above the night sky is full of hundreds of stars, sparkling like diamonds against black silk. Occasional, large, luminescent clouds roll across the sky, brighter yet. Adrian yawns and stretches, "Nothing yet.
[21:12] <Kotono> We should camp for the night and rest."
[21:13] <Willim> Needing no further encouragement, Willim begins to set up his bedroll.
[21:13] <Jaela> Adrian gets no objections from her! The sooner they go to bed, the sooner they can wake up and resume their journey.
[21:14] <Kotono> roll 1d100
[21:14] <Rei-chan> Kotono rolled : 1d100 --> [ 1d100=100 ]{100}
[21:14] <Afina> As is her habit, Afina turns herself invisible before sleep, picking a spot a bit away from everyone else and eschewing tents or bedrolls or the like.
[21:19] <Ithea> "Do you want any help removing your armor for the night?" Ithea offers Jaela as she looks for a comfortable spot for herself.
[21:20] <Kotono> Sleep comes. A deep sleep that envelopes all of you..mmm...dreams...each of you drifts in them, coming to a cabin. A log cabin, surrounded by hazy white. You feel pulled in there, even as you drift along.
[21:21] <Afina> Afina drifts on the currents of her dream, uncaring and ignorant of troubles at least for a little while.
[21:22] * Willim snores loudly, snrrking as he dreams and rolling over.
[21:23] <Jaela> With a log cabin before her, what is there to do but knock and enter?
[21:27] * Ithea looks for a window on the cabin, trying to peek into the cabin as Jaela approaches the cabin door, wondering what's inside that feels like she should get closer to it.
[21:30] <Kotono> Within the cabin is a typical setup. Bed, fireplace, table. The door opens as Jaela knocks on it! Standing there is a young woman, pretty but not much past plain. She smiles warmly, "Hello there! Would all of you like to come in?"
[21:31] <Jaela> "Sure thing," Jaela agrees, making use of the invitation. "I'm Jaela. You?"
[21:32] <Kotono> "Kristia," She answers with a radiant smile, "Please, come in, come in."
[21:33] <Afina> Afina floats inside, barely registering the surroundings. Such things are ephemereal and transient in a dream anyway, and so she merely focuses on the other actors present.
[21:33] * Ithea goes to join Jaela upon seeing the door opening, going inside as well. "Oh, hello, how are you doing?" she greets pleasantly to Kristia.
[21:33] <Jaela> "Nice to meet you."
[21:33] * Willim looks inside. "We is not sleeping?" He scratches at one of his horns.
[21:34] <Kotono> As you step in, everything feels more real. You can smell the stew cooking, feeling the strange floatiness part to allow lucid thought. As awareness fully returns to you, "Don't worry about that right now. Would you like something to eat?"
[21:36] <Jaela> "Sure." Not clad in her armor for a change, Jaela sits down on the bed. "Hey, any chance you know Galariel? We're trying to find him."
[21:37] <Kotono> "Oh!" A hand goes to her face, gasping, "Are you seeking...! My!" Her gaze sweeps across all four of you, "Goodness! Is it true?"
[21:37] <Afina> Looking askance at Willim, her vacant gaze becoming more alert, Afina elects to focus her attention fully on Kristia. "Why are you here? Why are we sharing this dream?"
[21:38] <Jaela> "I can't say if it's true if you don't tell me what you're talking about," Jaela quite reasonably responds.
[21:39] <Kotono> Kristia's face becomes serene, going to the fire. She comes back with bowls of steaming hot stew, placing them on the table. "Would you break bread with me? We can talk while you eat."
[21:40] * Willim eyes the stew. "Is meat?"
[21:40] * Ithea looks around the cabin rather than accepting the offer of bread. "Hey, where's Adrian?" she asks, wondering why the 'leader' of their little quest isn't joining them in this...dream? Weird dream at that...
[21:41] <Jaela> Since she's already agreed to that, Jaela picks up her bowl before settling back on the bed.
[21:41] <Kotono> "Is meat," With a golden tinkle of laughter she sits, before she frowns. "Your friend has a jealous soul around him. I could not touch his mind because of the hag around him."
[21:42] * Willim nods, taking the bowl. "Fresh meat hard to find lately. Everyone else like plants." He makes a face.
[21:42] * Ithea blinks, wondering what the hag comment was about, but nods, accepting that answer for now as she sits at the table.
[21:42] <Afina> If she were to break bread with this woman then the rules of hospitality would compel her to defend her. Given that she knows nothing about her, Afina is not so naive as to bind herself so fully, and so holds herself back from the meal.
[21:43] <Kotono> As the party settles and eats, "Galariel will not be found easily.  Are you resolute in seeking him...and why do you seek him so?"
[21:44] <Jaela> "I wouldn't be here if I didn't need to find him," Jaela responds, which is clear enough as far as she is concerned. "What did you think we were seeking when you gasped just then?" But such friendly questioning doesn't prevent her from eating her food, of course.
[21:45] * Willim has no qualms ans starts eating!
[21:45] <Afina> "Adrian could explain it better," Afina says in response, floating off to the side of the table, distant from the rest. "We understand Galariel knows where something from our world has been hidden."
[21:46] <Kotono> The stew is hot and meaty. To this Kristia sighs, "You seek the Celestial Key, then? 'tis one of the few reasons to seek Galariel, and you do not look like students of his lessons. Why then do you seek what Medi sealed away?"
[21:46] <Ithea> "It's power could help save our world. Isn't that reason enough?" Ithea answers.
[21:46] <Afina> "You know what we seek. Do you know what happened to Lifasa, then?" Afina retorts simply.
[21:48] <Kotono> Kristia bows her head, "I do, and I now I know you will not turn away. Know this - the way to Galariel is a trial, one that will not end when you find him. Are each of you willing accept these trials?"
[21:48] <Jaela> "Of course it's a trial!" Jaela scoffs. "We knew that already when we came here!"
[21:48] <Afina> "Every day is a trial for the likes of us," Afina shrugs ambivalently.
[21:50] <Kotono> Kristia nods, then to Willim and Ithea, "Do you two accept this trial as well, of your own free will?"
[21:50] * Willim shrugs. "Okay."
[21:51] <Ithea> "Of course! Lifasa's my home, I won't abandon it so readily a second time. I'll tackle any trials in my way!"
[21:53] <Kotono> "Very well then. I shall be your first trial." Kristia goes limp, rising into the air! From her back spread wings of white, her head slowly rising up. When her eyes meet yours again, they are radiant pools of white. She speaks in a voice that whispers throughout, coming from everywhere around you. "Understand this, that the price for failure of this trial is eternal bliss. If you fail, you will
[21:53] <Kotono> sleep until your body and souls have joined with Elysium. Thereafter you shall live here for all eternity in contentment, making Eronia your homes. If you succeed, I shall direct you towards Galariel."
[21:53] <Jaela> "Please tell me it's not something corny like trial by combat."
[21:54] * Willim blinks and finishes off his stew.
[21:56] <Kotono> "Over the eons hundreds have sought the Celestial Key. Humble men of no power have looked as hard as heroes capable of rewriting reality at a moment's whim. None have succeeded, none have obtained what they sought. Tell me what makes you different. What makes you the ones to claim the Celestial Key and reawaken Medicant?"
[21:59] <Jaela> "I can only speak for myself." Of course. But still, that too has to be said, Jaela muses. "It's not like I'm any different, I guess. If there's anything like that, it's with my cause. None of those who tried in the past needed that fortress to save their world from literal and eternal damnation. With something like this getting me going, how can I stop before I claim it, right? I can't rewrite reality on a whim, so that's the only way I can make things work. And I like to think Galariel wants to see us succeed, too."
[22:01] <Willim> "Me want to hit devils harder." Willim nods, popping overlarge knuckles.
[22:03] <Kotono> To Jaela and Willim Kristia nods once. "I hear your reasons. What of yours," She next looks to Afina.
[22:07] * Afina scowls. She's not unfamiliar with certain Courts ensuring their captives are very blissful as they languish at the whims of cruel fey. It makes her all the more determined to prevail, and she draws herself up. "I am Afina Gloaminggloom, last free survivor of the Gloaming Forest, which held onto ancient traditions for tens of millenia even as the rest of Lifasa changed and civilised. All our arts, all our secrets... if they exist at all anymore, then they exist with me."
[22:07] <Afina> "And..." her increasing crescendo of words falls short, the fairy stopping. "Perhaps they were wrong. Perhaps we should have joined the elves as our brothers and sisters did. Perhaps if Lifasa had been wholly united then it would not have been taken by Hell. Or taken quicker... I don't know the answer. I'll find out one day, though, and if Lifasa rises like the phoenix, the lessons I - and the
[22:07] <Afina> others who join this battle -" she gestures at her fellows, "Learn will determine what sort of world it becomes." She floats closer to Krystia, her voice lowering and meeting the angel's luminescent gaze with hard intensity. "Those humble men of no power? They never would accomplish anything. The ones who rewrote reality? They already had. But me? Lifasa? We're. Not. Done. Yet."
[22:09] <Kotono> To that Kristia stares on, serenely impassive and unblinking. At last she nods her acknowledgement of Afina's words, "I understand and hear your words," She repiles, "What of yours, Ithea?"
[22:11] <Ithea> "I simply wish to see Lifasa like it was again. It was once considered paradise to its inhabitants...to see it twisted by devils is...horrifying. That I could not do anything to help keep it safe has been many things, but those are lessons I wish Lifasa had not had to pay for me to learn. If I can set things right, I'm willing to risk all that I can..." Ithea answers.
[22:13] <Kotono> Kristia nods to Ithea at last. She flies back limp bodied, looking up once more. She speaks but a single word, "Yes." After that, "Travel the river until a falling star shows you the way. Therein will begin your next trials." At that, abruptly? Dawn. You awaken with the dawn, all four of you feeling refreshed and full. Adrian lies on h8is stomach, tossing and turning, his cloak a blanket.
[22:15] * Jaela opens her eyes and blinks once. "I had a dream. You guys were in it."
[22:15] * Willim grunts.
[22:15] <Afina> Rubbing her eyes, Afina spares a glance at the others but remains invisible while she meditates and rebalances her mana for another few minutes. To Jaela's question she simply calls back, "It wasn't a dream."
[22:15] * Ithea yawns, stretching. "That was an...interesting dream," Ithea notes aloud, turning to look at the others then at Adrian. "Yeah, same here...except for Adrian. Doesn't look like he's having fun dreams."
[22:16] * Jaela shrugs, stretching her wings a bit. "It sorta was. So how does that work as a trial? Did we pass?"
[22:17] <Kotono> Adrian groans once more, sitting up. His eyes are bloodshot, hair tousled. His cloak falls away, one hand on the white amulet around his neck. With a sweat rolling down his face, "Ugh." He flops back down, letting go of the amulet. "I must not be used to sleeping again."
[22:17] <Afina> "She said yes," Afina says at a more normal volume, falling silent and performing her meditations.
[22:17] * Jaela sits up at last. "So hey, Adrian, we had a dream about this angel who said you had a jealous hag haunting you. Her words, not mine. What's up with that?"
[22:18] <Jaela> At Afina's words, she frowns. "But that makes no sense! How does 'I'm the last of my kind!' work with 'Kill devils good'?"
[22:19] * Willim looks back and forth between everyone. "What hag?"
[22:19] <Kotono> "Hmph. Mother." Adrian rubs his eyes clear, sitting up and pu tting his cloak on. Once done, "Mother has always been a controlling and jealous sort, even now."
[22:20] <Jaela> "Well, you missed out on a pretty angel."
[22:20] <Afina> "Obviously it didn't matter what we said, she just threatened us so we'd respond truthfully," Afina is forced to speak once more before determinedly shutting up and meditating. With gusto!
[22:21] <Ithea> "And some bread too," Ithea adds.
[22:22] <Jaela> "The stew was good," Jaela agrees, starting the laborous task of suiting up.
[22:23] * Willim nods.
[22:23] <Kotono> "Right," Getting up and freshening up, "Maybe we'll find something today."
[22:24] <Ithea> "Hopefully we will, at least we have a bit more direction. We need to keep an eye out for a falling star, Adrian," Ithea says before helping fill in the man a bit more on what they all dreamt.
[22:24] <Afina> After she finishes meditating, Afina casts a few spells to gird herself for their travels and turns visible in time for a hearty breakfast before they set off, floating disk in tow!
[22:25] <Afina> roll 1d10+10 false life hp, endure elements/floating disk/greater mage armour cast
[22:25] * Hatbot --> "Afina rolls 1d10+10 false life hp, endure elements/floating disk/greater mage armour cast and gets 14." [1d10=4]
[22:26] * Jaela enchants her armor and spear for a change, given that they are expecting trials ahead.
[22:27] * Willim eats some food.
[22:38] <Kotono> About half the day passes without incident. As you travel downstream you happen to look up at once - all of you do, for the sky sparkles! A great ball of starry light plunges down, heading away from the river and towards a thickly wooded hill.
[22:39] <Jaela> And just like that, Jaela changes direction towards that hill as well!
[22:39] <Afina> It's obvious, they all saw it. Afina says nothing and simply changes direction along with Jaela.
[22:39] * Ithea also turns towards that hill.
[22:40] <Willim> Clearly the flying ball of death is what they were looking for! Willim turns and follows the others.
<Steph> I might have made a terrible mistake
