[19:54] <Kotono> Rest. Some rest after everything is just about perfect. 27 lies at her feet, Ithea drowsing on her bed. Of course that means you're going to be disturbed, which happens with a remarkable promptness. A few pounding knocks on your doors are followed by, "Ithea!" Dana's voice is heard. "You in there?"
[19:59] * Ithea gets up of her bed at that, careful not to kick 27 as she gets up. "I'm here!" she calls out, moving to open the door. Greeting Dana as she does that, she adds, "Dana, hi. What's up?"
[20:02] <Kotono> "Not much." Letting herself in, "Thinking about if I want to go golem."
[20:05] * Ithea raises an eyebrow. "Ah, right, I'd heard about that offer...you're thinking about it, really? What do you know about the procedure? What you get out of it and what you lose?" Ithea asks, as she moves to the side so the princess can come in, and closes the door afterwards.
[20:06] <Kotono> "I read the information about it and listened," Dana goes to sit on the bed, 27 rising and giving her an entirely unflattering look. It says nothing, retreating away to the other side of the room. "I dunno, it sounds bad, but that it's powerful enough to be worthwhile."
[20:10] <Ithea> "So does Annalise's offer if you don't mind being an undead monster. And you'd be prettier too," Ithea jokes. "Still, you're the only one who can really say if it's worthwhile for you or not. I'm bad just getting simple makeovers, I certainly wouldn't agree with such a major change for myself."
[20:12] <Kotono> "Makeovers are also fucking boring. Oh, stand still while we primp your air and act like your tits need to be supported by six fucking layers of silk and satin. Please." Rolling her eyes, "If it isn't obvious by now, I feel like I need to be stronger."
[20:18] <Ithea> "No duh. You wouldn't survive long enough to enjoy getting the crap beat out of you if you didn't," Ithea says with a roll of her own eyes. "Still a major change, and you seem to be getting stronger on your own, hell everyone here is. This isn't because of Willim, is it? You already told me before you'd considered Annalise's offer for a bit after that."
[20:22] <Kotono> "Oh, it is a bit." Dana admits, "I mean, no shit it is. I feel like I'm getting left behind." Admitting as much with a shrug, "Besides, on reflection, don't really want to become a bloodsucker."
[20:25] <Ithea> "I'd ask then if you're okay with becoming an animated pile of rocks, but I didn't really pay enough attention to what the process entails with becoming a golem," Ithea admits. Pausing, she asks, "It's not one of those flesh golems is it? If it is, you'd be better off being a bloodsucker."
[20:26] <Ithea> "I mean, it was a dwarf, so that kind of implies stone, I guess, but who knows with some of these people?"
[20:27] <Kotono> "There's options," Dana shrugs again, "Fuck, I don't know."
[20:28] <Ithea> "Out of curiosity, if you turn into a golem, would you even still enjoy fighting any more? Does it do anything to your sense of touch or whatever?"
[20:32] <Kotono> "Think so," Dana replies easily, as meanwhile 27 rises. It approaches Ithea and lies at her feet, silent.
[20:33] * Ithea eyes 27, and pats the weird slaad/pet in the head. "You don't have any strange prophecies to share about Dana's decision, do you, 27?" she asks randomly.
[20:40] <Kotono> 27 stares at Dana. It stares at her quite long, getting a stare back. Finally it utters, "Replenish body with steel; sacrifice body with death; alleviation is not remedy."
[20:42] <Ithea> "Well...interesting reply?" Ithea says after trying to think about that, patting 27 on the head again.
[20:45] <Kotono> "I have no idea what the fuck you mean!" DAna throws her hands up, "You sound like some pussy addled 15 year old trying to charm a dumb village whore into spreading them for the 395th time. What the fuck does replenish body have to do with anything like letting Annalise bite me and with alleviation and remedy! Those are the same damn things! I mean, what the fuck? Allevation makes things better
[20:45] <Kotono> by removing the problem and remedy cures the problem!"
[20:46] <Kotono> 27 merely shrinks back into Ithea's patting.
[20:52] <Ithea> "Ah, right, that's the first time you've heard one of his cryptic little messages. Yeah, they're all like that," Ithea says with a sigh, still patting 27 calmly through Dana's tirade, musing on it. "Hrm...Well, given we're in Ysgard, the first two are pretty easy to do, just go have a duel to the death with somebody that carries steel. Though third
[20:52] <Ithea> line might mean that won't really help? Or maybe it all means that turning yourself into a steel golem would kill you?"
[20:52] * Ithea keeps musing on it, tossing other ideas through her head.
[20:55] <Kotono> Dana grumps and kicks at the air, "Fuck. There's that surprisingly cute Tepen now for brains, there's that pruney old sage who just got here, Annalise seems to know everything, Jaela's on the ball too, that one blonde's sharp...any others who might be able to cut the bullshit?"
[21:11] <Ithea> "Tepen has gotten rather good looking, hasn't he?" Ithea muses. "Anyway, since you want a straight answer...personally? I don't like the idea. If you're set on it, I'm not gonna stop you, but I kinda think when you have to transform who you are like that, you just always invariably lose more than you gain."
[21:12] <Ithea> "If you want a fresh face to consult, you could try the tortle dude though. You don't know each other well, so it's not going to be a biased opinion, and he's pretty old for his people, so he has to have some Tepen-like wisdom to share too."
[21:13] <Kotono> Flopping back on the bed, staring up at the roof, "I get the impression everyone else thinks it's a bad fucking idea."
[21:13] <Ithea> "Well, I can't speak for anybody else, but how many people have really jumped for the opportunity? That's probably a bit telling too," Ithea points out.
[21:17] <Kotono> "At least Annalise made her offer sound tempting," Dana mutters irritably , kicking at the air again, "Guess that makes up my mind, doesn't it?"
[21:25] <Ithea> "Dunno how tempting she makes it. Nobody's taken her up on -her- offer either," Ithea says with a grin as she stands up. "Want to go get drunk or pick a fight with some of the warriors?" she offers. "Both maybe?"
[21:30] <Kotono> "Not really," Dana admits, "Saw Baleruk flying around again and I liked those colors. If I remember right, that Renbuu he screamed about the first time is the lord of colors or some shit? I was thinking about that, is all. Had a brief wondering if I could become half rainbow, but that was too fucking retarded."
[21:30] <Kotono> 27 stirs a little bit and creeps back closer to Ithea.
[21:35] * Ithea tries to picture Dana as half rainbow. "...honestly, with Renbuu involved, you probably could? I mean, he just randomly gave Kascha, Jaela, Afina and me some chaos powers pretty much just because he could, so why not half rainbow? You'd look ridiculous like that though, just getting that out right now."
[21:35] <Ithea> "Which is perfectly okay if you wanted to give your dad a heartattack, I suppose, actually."
[21:38] <Kotono> "...hm." Dana starts to grin, "Hah, imagine rainbow Dana appearing in the sky over Daddy's castle. I would do it stark naked, just to fuck with him and give the entire castle a royal peep show. Of course, I'd never live it down, but neither would Daddy."
[21:41] <Ithea> "Well, that, or you'd get a lot of sudden marriage proposals from young nobles," Ithea says drily. "Wait, nobles. Scratch the 'young' part to them, then."
[21:42] <Ithea> "It'd certainly be funny to see the man's face when you come into his castle though, if you did that."
[21:44] <Kotono> Meanwhile 27 hides behind Ithea, curling up behind her legs. Dana just grins, "Yeah. Yeah it would." DAna just grins harder, "One day..."
[22:16] <Ithea> "Well, if you ever do actually decide to show up as a naked rainbow, you can always ask Baleruk to introduce you to Renbuu," Ithea says. "I'm sure we can come up with something less embarrasing for you but still plenty embarrasing for your dad before that day comes though."
[22:17] <Ithea> "...Can't think of anything better than introducing Willim in that tux of his would have been though. He's a hard guy to top."
[22:17] <Kotono> "Yeah. Not even flashing the entire kingdom quite measures up," Dana sighs, "Ah well, that ust means I'll have to think harder." Rising up, "I'm going to go do that."
[22:20] <Ithea> "If I think of anything, I'll be sure to bring up the idea with you!" Ithea offers cheerfully.
