When I get home I will attempt to identify the knife, run a K:P check on Astral settlements, and maybe on the name Iddy turned up in relation to the coins. Also memorize spells. Somebody remind me to do this stuff when I show up this afternoon.

Shall do so.

<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

<Gatewalker> roll 1d4 lesser restore hamish int
* +Hatbot --> "Gatewalker rolls 1d4 lesser restore hamish int and gets 4." [1d4=4]
<Gatewalker> roll 1d4 lesser restore Morana int
* +Hatbot --> "Gatewalker rolls 1d4 lesser restore Morana int and gets 1." [1d4=1]

So after my first casting Hamish gets 4 back, Morana gets 1 back. I'll have to prepare spells again before I can cast more.

Noted. I'll update #thecauldron's totals.

Well then.

That makes 6 restored to Hamish and 3 restored to Morana then. Awesome.
All About Monks
<Marisa> They're OP as fuck
<Marisa> They definitely don't blow in 3.5
<Marisa> after a certain level they basically just attack repeatedly until it dies
<Marisa> they're immune to a bunch of high level effects
<Marisa> just by being monks

Current party status: Morana: 68(-1int)/68, Hamish: 60/60 (-5int), Thyan: 32/32 (-4int), Iris: 46/46, Aleira: 36/36, Fiora: 56/56, Birdbrain: 22/22'

Now I'm only down 5! Yay! I can manifest again!
What if they're not stars at all? What if the night sky is full of titanic far-off lidless eyes, staring in all directions across eternity?

VySaika

I'll prolly want one more rest/cast period to restore Ham again and Thyan before we go after Mr. Squiddly. We should prolly move towards him...but not get close until we're in shape to take him on.

This is not the greatest post in the world, no... this is just a tribute.

Okay, that'll go without incident. Roll your lesser restorations and post them.

#116
* Hatbot --> "Iris rolls 1d20+13 K:P, notable Astral settlements that we might be able to find, hopefully safe ones not swarming with evil gith? and gets 26."12 [1d20=13]

If there's anything I can roll on the "Arganian Empire," let me know (always curious about random names).

Iris will also cast a previously prepared Identify on garlic knife.

Esselbeach. A remote settlement of a handful of sea elves who magicked a pool of water into the Astral. It may be the only real lake within the entire plane. Profit's Helm, a mercane settlement that is openly tolerated by the githyanki. Silfortium, an abandoned shack-city near a portal to Hades. It is said fiends haunt the ruins, willing to provide succor for the right price.

And all we have to do is stumble upon them in the endless void! Well, we can always ask directions if we find someone non-hostile.

For the other PCs: okay, we've got two advantages for dealing with this knucklehead. One, he probably doesn't know we can track him (via the shard that he presumably has); two, I know the range of his brain drain tentacle spell (fifty feet), which gives me a good idea of where to aim a fireball. I also have a couple See Invisibilities in stock. I can't reliably hurt the goon because of SR, but I can at least light him up for everyone else to see. I figure Thyan can synch his turn up with mine and perforate him the moment he's visible. I have DEX/INT buffs in stock for whoever's likely to need them most.

We should probably also adopt a staggered formation so not everyone gets caught in the stun field at once.

Iron Dragoon

Well, if I don't get stun-locked, I can turn him into a pin cushion. But with my low ass save, that's sorta unlikely. Since he locked me up once, he'll likely aim to do it again.

Also, the guy kinda brain-raped me while I was stun-locked. Failed my roll to resist it and he basically shifted through my memories, so he'll have knowledge of what I've seen everyone do already, I suspect. Not sure how that changes things for you guys.

Maybe I can use the cart to hide? It's AoE, though, so the cart would have to be out of his range. My bow will do out to 110, but anything past 30ft. robs me of my SA.
