Just read it.  I agree with Murphid that your narrator doesn't need to use vocabulary typical for his age group, but if you're using this in a story, you'll want to quickly establish his age to the readers.

Since your setting has magic, you have plenty of options for explaining his enhanced vocabulary, ranging from the mundane (in this world of magic, libraries are where all the cool kids hung out) to the absurd (a mindflayer attacked him and tried to eat his brain, but because of a quirk of genetics, his brain was actually harmful to the creature and it threw up).
