1) What are their abilities?

Harkin is a dark paladin and marshal of Bel. He fights with a massive greathammer and has the ability to smite good, as well as smiting those who dare oppose him. His ability to invoke blood oaths against those who offend him grant him amazing combat abilities, at the price of some of his vitality.

Velasca is a skilled rogue, quite good at infiltration and able to hide right in plain sight. She has mastered the abilities of her new form, her natural attacks striking with as much deadly grace as a stiletto-blade.

Quinn is a scout and warrior of darkness. He specializes in mobile warfare and has aerial mobility to rival an angel. The unholy blessings he has been given guide his strikes and shield his body, granting him preternaturally potent defenses.

Mala is a capable wizard and diabolist, specializing in vile magic. She has a few tricks of note: Grim Revenge, which wretches your hand off and has it attack you, Utterdark, which blinds all but the evil, and violated spells of all kinds. She is less capable in combat than most, but her magic is overwhelming. She carries the Tome of Forbidden Magic, a gift from the Duke of Destiny.

Ettan is a warchief, able to rally any who serve him into a vicious, all consuming, murderous rage. He never fights alone, always surrounded by deranged helpers that fly into a rage as easily as he orders them into a frenzy. When so influenced, even a mild mannered clerk could hit as hard as an angry giant.

Silvber is a sorcerer and infernal speaker, taught in vile words of the Dark speech. His words can terrorize even the fearless, beguile the weak willed and dominate the unworthy. Further, his brimstone soaked words may summon hellfire to scorch all away who oppose Hell's supremacy. In particular his apotheosis has empowered him, removing all the limitations of his mortal heritage.

Willah is still of some fey blood, as well as a great marshal and leader of soldiers. A bat of her eyes or a single smile can cause men to die for her, infecting them with a zeal unknown. When she and Ettan work together, mere lemures can threaten even balors. Worse, her beauty has been enhanced by the unholy powers of the Pit, so that even looking on her risks the soul of a good creature.

Apasa is a duskblade and general, all around warrior of fine skill. He specializes in a little bit of everything, able to fight and cast well both. In particular he has developed his own custom spell, Apasa's Darkstroke, that consumes the righteous and weak in unbearable agonies.

2) How many devils are under their command?

All the occupational forces of Lifasa, as well as whatever reserves are gifted to them from Abigor.

3) What were their reasons for giving up Lifasa to the devils?

The Duke of Destiny came to them and revealed the inevitable fate. Under his vision and tutelage, the absolute, unbending fate was accepted by them all. It has been fated, and in this fated resignation comes the ultimate enlightenment. Nothing matters but the will of Hell. In this submission Yian has finally gained true mental strength and power.

Who is in charge of the Aeropolis in your absence?

High Monk of the Initiaties, Gramath.

What response would be enacted in the case of an open attack on the Aeropolis?

Burning cannons. Jets of all consuming flame that will burn away any aerial assault on the Aeropolis. Brimstone launchers, catapults that fire heavy iron-reinforced brimstone boulders out, crushing and pushing down any who survive the flames. The Sphere of Dragonfire, an orb of superheated energies that can be temporarily generated around the Aeropolis. All forces will assume defensive positions while elements of the Aero Brigades flank and force the attackers into ruin. Should this fail, the Initiates of the Draconic Mysteries and other devils will engage the intruders, using the defenses of the Aeropolis well. Should an assault threaten to overrun the Aeropolis, the Blackmark Bell is authorized to be rung.

Are there any prison facilities for Lifasans on the Aeropolis? Where? What defences are in place? Who is held there?

Yes. Currently 999 able bodied refugees are being intermittently tortured and re educated. They are within the Upper Polis, guarded by a brigade of mind-seeing orthons. The refugees are a mix of humans, elves, dwarves, disobedient tieflings, catfolk, tortles, messerem and metalliac dragon-kin.

What part of the Aeropolis is most tactically important to continued devil control of the area? What defences are in place?

The Cloister of the Victorious Dragon. Here is where the controls to the Aeropolis are, as well as the Blackmark Bell. It is in the center of the Upper Polis, protected by the entire Upper Polis. Thus is defended by each and every other defense within the Burning Aeropolis.
