I was thinking through a FoZ crossover idea today. This time, Louise summons a Dragon egg from the Inheritance Cycle. I don't see too many good crossover fanfics from that series.

I've never read the Inheritance Cycle, so I'll just go with the generic questions to new ideas: What's the practical effect here?  What does this change from the original FoZ?  What kind of new plotlines can you develop from this, or how can you resolve old plots in a different way?
