Session Start: Wed Oct 29 11:27:14 2014
Session Ident: #dunes
* Now talking in #dunes
* Topic is 'Lucy(28)>Veren=Moore(21)>LSB(12)>Pepo>Kamhoff(10)  '
* Set by Kotono on Wed Oct 22 12:11:07
<Kotono> ----
<Kotono> On going in, the party finds the door answered by a reedy looking, 3 foot tall creature. It has pale green skin and warts, as well as a long mane of blonde hair. Little spectacles balance on its small nose. It peers up, "We're not expecting a - oh." Looking at the group, "Treasure seekers." He rolls his eyes, "Stay right here."
<Lucy> "Who were you not expecting?" Lucy asks with a pleasant smile.
<Pepo> Pepo just sits down and waits. He doesn't care about treasure, but it could be interesting.
* Veren inspects the office, looking for interesting things.
<Kotono> "A grocery delivery," he hmps, "Just stay there." He scurries on down a short hall and through a door, out of sight. Shortly thereafter there are a few loud thumps and a man emerges. He's perhaps nine feet tall, massively muscles and with a red beard and hair. He has a wild look to him and wears a tight fitting black vest and pants. He crosses his arms - closer to being tree trunks than mere arms
<Kotono> in size - and stares at you. "Name's Bash. Heard we had," he pauses to count each of you off, "That many funerals to plan."
<Kotono> As you're at the front door, Veren finds there's not much of an office to inspect. The front door's utterly unremarkable, as front doors tend to be.
<Lucy> "How very kind of you to be this thoughtful, Mister Bash!"
<Kotono> "I try." His expression doesn't have any give, "You'll fit in a normal coffin, you'll need a kid's one and you'll do a normal." All three get a look, "Hell, I'll toss your cat in with whichever one of you owns 'em, or into the light if you're poor."
<Veren> "We've heard of the hauntings. You seem to know more about it than we've been able to gather."
<Lucy> "I'm sure Mister Pepo wouldn't mind overmuch to share one with me! My name is Lucy, Mister Bash, and it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance," she says, glancing sideways at Veren. "And now that we're dealt with the pleasantries, yes, perhaps we might hear more about the entire thing?"
<Kotono> "Damn fools," But Bash nods and steps aside, "If you're so ready to see what lies beyond, come with me."
<Lucy> Why do people say that? Do they really want to make enemies that much with unstable mercenaries? She can't wrap her mind around it so Lucy just follows for now.
* Veren follows as well.
<Kotono> Down a hallway, through a connecting room (storage, looks like, lots of boxes and chests) and another hallway leads to a little room with a table. It's dark save for a tiny slit window, which leads in a bright beam of the sea's light. It's enough to make things dim instead of pitch black. The table's top is scarred up and dented, though the chairs seem to be in good condition. Bash takes a chair
<Kotono> and sits just beneath the slit window, shadows hiding him. "Yes, the ship's haunted by poltergeist or something similar. That much I know. I also know it's a suicide mission to go down. Better people than all of you have tried and failed."
<Lucy> "Now that is just plain rude and unprofessional!" Lucy exclaims. "However might you be able to tell my skills from merely a look, Mister Bash?"
* Veren moves to a comfortably stealthy nook of the room as well, watching Bash's reactions to try and spot if he's lying or hiding information.
<Pepo> Pepo just sits and licks himself, unbothered by the man's insinuations as to their relative skill.
<Kotono> "Spare me your bruised ego. Go pet your cat or your pixie," He gestures at both of them, "At least they have the good sense not to argue about this. Listen: Yes, there's treasures down there. No, they're not worth it. Yes, it's a suicide mission. No, you aren't the special snowflake that will come out with the treasure. Yes, you will die. No, no one will be down there to save you and you won't
<Kotono> miraculously find out a way to defend yourselves against the light. I'd rather not see another group go down to an early grave in the glow."
<Moore> "So the ship itself is submerged in the light, correct?" Moore asks. "Would it be possible to somehow... I don't know what the right word is... pull it out, somehow?"
<Lucy> "Someone must manage to return," Lucy reasons, looking at him pointedly, "if only to bring back the bodies?"
<Kotono> "It's stuck there," Bash nods slightly to Moore, "To put a long story short, the tale is that the ship's mage tried to stop the ship from sinking. He kept it from going deep by attaching it to the lagoon wall, but couldn't keep it from sinking down." Here he shakes his head at Lucy, "Turn of phrase. The bodies never come out. Look. Give this up and seek treasure elsewhere. If you're hell-bent on
<Kotono> it, you can try, since I know damned fools like you will break in or sneak in anyway. But it's your funerals.""
<Veren > "Do you know the size of the ship?"
<Lucy> "Yes, some relevant information would help. Is there a convenient way to reach it and return, or merely flight and magical means? Have any specters been spotted upon it, or is the haunting mere supposition?"
<Pepo> 'Why are we ignoring his warning?' Pepo decides to ask the group via telepathy, since it does seem pretty bad. 'The rumors sending us here may have been malicious.'
<Lucy> 'It sounds fun,' Lucy responds to him.
<Kotono> "Big. It was a grand treasure ship. Way back in the day, explorers found a lost kingdom called Amambo. Full of treasure and everyone raced to get there and load up. This one here did it and came to Freeport Rock to restock. It wasn't much of a port back then, and something happen. Accounts vary, but it ended up in this lagoon and ultimately sunk. It was a big ship since it was meant to take as
<Kotono> much treasure as they could load on." OOC: Make a Will save, Veren.
<Veren > 'I only wish for more information.'
> roll 1d20+9+4 Will, spending 1 inspiration
* Hatbot --> "Veren rolls 1d20+9+4 Will, spending 1 inspiration and gets 31." 12 [1d20=18]
<Veren > OOC: Heh, guess the inspiration was a bit overkill.
<Kotono> "There's a stairway that's said to lead to it - the efforts of a madman who never came back out." Bash remarks, "Occasionally one of the poltergeists comes close to the surface and you can see it." Meanwhile Veren feels an odd tingle run down his spine.
<Veren > 'I... Hmm.. Something here is odd...'
* Veren glances around trying to find the source of the feeling.
<Lucy> "How interesting," Lucy muses. "A scroll of Mage Armor would be a good investment, in that case."
<Moore> "I realize that the light isn't like water, but... why is there a lagoon with it here? I mean... um... it isn't possible to try and drain it like water, I suppose... I guess my theory would be too much work, but... I wonder if it'd be possible to dig a big hole next to where the ship is stuck so it effectively falls out of the light, or we make something that the light flows into, thus lowering
<Moore> the level that it's at. Er... does any of that make sense?" Moore realizes he kind of babbled two different ideas out at the same time.
<Kotono> OOC: Have any ranks in spellcraft or anything?
<Kotono> OOC: Veren.
<Veren > OOC: Nope. Unless K:Dungeoneering does something, but I doubt it. Sense Motive to see if it was hostile, maybe?
<Kotono> Bash shakes his head, "Don't know if you're a newborn or just haven't dealt with it before, but the light doesn't work like that." OOC: You can try sense motive, at least.
<Lucy> "Not really, no," Lucy says apologetically. "Magic made it happen, the laws of nature got abused in the process."
<Veren > roll 1d20+12+4 Sense Motive, Inspiration
* Hatbot --> "Veren rolls 1d20+12+4 Sense Motive, Inspiration and gets 36." 12 [1d20=20]
<Veren > OOC: Damn it. Guess I know how to roll well. Waste inspiration >.>;
* Lucy tilts her head. "Is there anything strange that exposure to the light at that depth would cause?"
<Moore> "Yes, we're... still pretty new here, so we haven't had anyone really explain to us what it is except 'not water.' I... have an idea that might work, but I don't know. I could try and use something to basically build something to push the ship out of the lagoon, if we wanted to try that. I... well, I mean, it doesn't sound like going into the light is really an option, you know?"
<Kotono> His posture towards Veren seems off, Veren thinks. Almost expectant, but after several moments it ceases.
<Kotono> "Blindness at least," he remarks, "Going in is a good way to never see anything but light again."
<Lucy> "Does it happen instantly, or over a period of time?"
<Kotono> "That's the problem," Bash remarks, "People have tried working around it - with the money involved, who wouldn't?" Bash admits with a grunt, "But the damned fool thing is that the magic that keeps it from falling further keeps it from going up, too. It's also possible those poltergeists would interfere, if you could somehow build it in the light."
* Veren sends out telepathically to Pepo, 'I believe he just tried something on me, and expected me to out him...'
* Veren stares intently at Bash, trying to silently push him to make another mistake.
<Kotono> OOC: Doesn't work that way, Pepo only hears it if he just spoke to you. It's one way unless he communicates, which briefly turns it two way.
<Veren > OOC: Alrighty. I wasn't sure if he was still scanning since he sent to the group earlier.
<Moore> Moore taps his chin thoughtfully. "Maybe we can draw them out to deal with them... hmm... we'd probably have to try and dispel the magic, too..."
<Lucy> "What if the stairway leading down was upgraded into a tunnel, keeping out the direct light? And then one emerged from it and into the hold of the ship, without staying out on the deck?"
<Kotono> "Varies, I hear," Bash says, "Best not to do it in the first place."
<Kotono> "If you can find a way to do it without seeing any light, maybe," he says, "But I also know it gets brighter as you go down."
<Lucy> "How about you try that, Moore?" Lucy suggests. "If you can make a shielded passage, we can take a closer look. If not, we might reconsider."
<Moore> "I could try and make something that basically digs a tunnel... but does that light just pass through anything?" Moore asks.
* Veren steps closer to Bash.
<Kotono> "Doesn't pass through light at the surface level-" Bash stops at that and turns to Veren, just meeting his gaze plainly.
<Veren > "Before we go much further, I believe you owe me.. Not an apology, but an explanation perhaps."
<Lucy> "I suppose it would take a while?" Lucy muses. "Certainly enough time to make any preparations if it looks to be working."
<Moore> Moore nods. "I'm not sure how long it would take, but yes, some time at least."
<Kotono> Bash doesn't reply to that, instead looking to Veren, "Apologize for what?" he asks right back, "Trying to save your damned fool lives?"
<Veren > "I felt it, and your body language gave it away. Were you simply trying to assess, or something else?"
<Kotono> This gets Bash to stand up, cracking his knuckles. "Exactly what I said. Trying to save your damn fool lives."
<Moore> Moore bites his bottom lip since all of a sudden they have a tense situation!
* Veren raises his eyebrow.
* Lucy just waits it out.
<Pepo> Pepo pauses in his ablutions.
<Veren > "If I wanted confrontation, I wouldn't have spoken. You seem unusually concerned for our wellbeing. If it is genuine, then... Thank you. But understand we are newborns to this plane, and to this place."
<Veren > "I think our concerns are valid."
<Kotono> "It gets tiring to see good men throw themselves into death for lost treasures," At this he grunts loudly, "It's a damned fool's business, chasing the impossible out of greed. The only reason I don't beat your asses - for your own good - is that your kind might try something dumb, like sneaking in anyway. If you're hell bound to it and so willful that nothing I can do will stop you, try."
<Veren > OOC: Sense motive to see if he's telling the truth?
<Lucy> "Alright then! Let's go and try!"
<Kotono> OOC: Go for it.
<Veren > roll 1d20+12 Sense Motive
* Hatbot --> "Veren rolls 1d20+12 Sense Motive and gets 18." 12 [1d20=6]
<Kotono> He seems on the level, Veren thinks.
* Veren nods to the man.
<Veren > "Thank you."
<Kotono> "Fine." With a sour grunt, Bash stands up and leads the party to the back. Out the back door and right to the lagoon. It's fenced in back here, a good eight foot tall fence with pointy wooden ends. The lagoon is brilliantly bright, painfully so, but as you look at it with veils and squinting, you can see a single stone step just an inch beneath the 'surface'.
* Lucy stays there to observe how things go, for now. If it looks like the tunnel is being built, she'll just need to return to their ship and see if Kamhoff has a rune or scroll for Mage Armor.
<Veren > "What about continuing these stairs into scaffolding and bringing the ship up in sections. Would that not minimize exposure and risk?"
<Kotono> "If you can get to the point where you can see the ship, maybe," He gestures at the lagoon, without looking at it. "Can you do it blind?"
<Veren > "Can't the light mages direct it?"
* Lucy looks at Veren incredulously.
<Veren > "Well... If you can find a coherent one."
<Kotono> Bash barks out a short laugh, "You think others haven't tried? Usually it's like herding cats. One time they got one on task, but the poltergeists flared up and put an end to it."
<Moore> Moore rubs his chin. "We do have one at our disposal, should we try that first?"
<Veren > "Hmm... If we could get an idea of what kind of poltergeists we're dealing with, then we may find a counter, perhaps."
<Lucy> "Not if success means he is eaten by ghosts."
<Kotono> "You could try herding your cat," Bash eyes Pepo, "Maybe if that works you have the chops for it."
<Moore> "I wouldn't want to risk his life, no." Moore says. "Well, let me try this first, and we'll see what happens."
<Veren > "Try what?"
<Moore> "To build a tunnel!" Moore says. "But I don't know how long to make it..."
<Pepo> Pepo locks eyes with Bash, giving him a suspicious feline look.
<Kotono> Bash returns it and says aloud, "And people wonder why I prefer dogs," he mutters. "Damn cats."
<Moore> "Mister Bash, do you have any idea how far the steps go?" Moore asks in his direction.
<Kotono> "I'm not sure," he admits, "People who go in don't come out to tell stories."
* Lucy rubs at her forehead. "Alright. How do you even know a ship is still there?"
<Moore> "All right, I'll have to estimate then..." Moore says. He rubs his chin again. "Well, no choice but to try and see what happens." Moore says as he withdraws his Lyre and starts to play on it. OOC: The idea will be to start with a tunnel made of stone that's 10ft tall that goes down along the steps for 100ft. Since they can't actually see the steps below the light, he'll have to guess at the
<Moore> actual  slope of the tunnel, I think.
<Kotono> The occasional poltergeist and a lot of hopeful greed," Bash replies dryly. "Telling people it might not be there rarely works, I've tried."
<Kotono> roll 1d100+35
* Hatbot --> "Kotono rolls 1d100+35 and gets 59." 12 [1d100=24]
<Lucy> "A valid point! Unless there is a rule that poltergeists can't just keep on appearing," Lucy muses. "Are there any records from the time the ship got stuck? So we'll have the approximate depth and go from there?"
<Veren > "Have any of the churches gotten involved?"
<Kotono> The tunnel begins to build. 10ft down, then 20ft. At that point you can see half a dozen stairs down or so before light form the tunnel's end below blankets things again. "Approximately one hundred feet, if-" Bash stops as you see it. A faintly green outline 5ft down, coming up the stairs. It looks vaguely like an armored man with a heavy sword. The air around the party rattles as Bash says,
<Kotono> "Fuck, poltergeist!" Before anything else can be said, the ghostly creature begins to rush towards the party. OOC: Init here.
<Kotono> roll 1d20+12 poltergeist
* Hatbot --> "Kotono rolls 1d20+12 poltergeist and gets 29." 12 [1d20=17]
<Kotono> roll 1d20+5 Bash
* Hatbot --> "Kotono rolls 1d20+5 Bash and gets 13." 12 [1d20=8]
<Pepo> roll 1d20+6+8
* Hatbot --> "Pepo rolls 1d20+6+8 and gets 24." 12 [1d20=10]
<Moore> roll 1d20+13
* Hatbot --> "Moore rolls 1d20+13 and gets 32." 12 [1d20=19]
<Lucy> roll 1d20+4+8
* Hatbot --> "Lucy rolls 1d20+4+8 and gets 29." 12 [1d20=17]
<Veren > roll 1d20+4+8 Init/Moore
* Hatbot --> "Veren rolls 1d20+4+8 Init/Moore and gets 16." 12 [1d20=4]
* Kotono changes topic to 'Moore(32)>Lucy=Poltergeist(29)>Pepo(24)>Veren(16)>Bash(13) '
<Kotono> OOC: Moore opens. Remember you need to keep playing or the lyre's effect ends.
<Moore> "I'll keep working on this for now, if you need help I'll help out!" Moore shouts to the others as he continues to play on his Lyre.
<Moore> OOC: If I can move and play I will move away though.
* Lucy tosses her pair of dagger up into the air and advances upon the poltergeist as an arcane shield springs up around her!
<Lucy> OOC: Steeldance, Quickened Shield. Do I roll for my attacks?
<Kotono> OOC: Okay and okay. Yes, roll.
<Lucy> roll 1d20+17
<Lucy> roll 1d20+17
* Hatbot --> "Lucy rolls 1d20+17 and gets 23." 12 [1d20=6]
* Hatbot --> "Lucy rolls 1d20+17 and gets 31." 12 [1d20=14]
<Lucy> roll 2#1d100 magic 51+ hit?
* Hatbot --> "Lucy rolls 2#1d100 magic 51+ hit? and gets 134." 12 [2#1d100 = 66, 68]
<Kotono> OOC: Two hits. d100 on both unless - two hits then.
<Lucy> roll 1d4+9 magic
<Lucy> roll 1d4+9 magic
* Hatbot --> "Lucy rolls 1d4+9 magic and gets 11." 12 [1d4=2]
* Hatbot --> "Lucy rolls 1d4+9 magic and gets 12." 12 [1d4=3]
<Kotono> Daggers slash into the poltergeist, but it hardly seems to notice. Instead he aims for the daggers with his sword, attempting to sunder them apart.
<Kotono> roll 1d20+15 CMD, Lucy? Steeldance allows sundering as if you were wielding them
* Hatbot --> "Kotono rolls 1d20+15 CMD, Lucy? Steeldance allows sundering as if you were wielding them and gets 21." 12 [1d20=6]
<Kotono> roll 1d20+10 CMD, Lucy? Steeldance allows sundering as if you were wielding them
* Hatbot --> "Kotono rolls 1d20+10 CMD, Lucy? Steeldance allows sundering as if you were wielding them and gets 28." 12 [1d20=18]
<Lucy> OOC: 31 since it uses the CL+Cha values instead of BAB+Str, so mine goes up by 12 from 19
<Kotono> But Lucy's daggers are swift as bees, avoiding the slashes entirely. OOC: Okay. Pepo.
* Lucy scoffs at the attack, although she's privately mildly concerned that her own offensive wasn't visibly successful.
<Pepo> Pepo remains where he is, focusing to produce a lightning bolt that crackles as it arcs through the air with a tang of ozone left behind in its path towards the specter.
<Pepo> roll 1d100 wild surge 5+
* Hatbot --> "Pepo rolls 1d100 wild surge 5+ and gets 38." 12 [1d100=38]
<Pepo> roll 1d20+14 ranged touch augmented 8pp
* Hatbot --> "Pepo rolls 1d20+14 ranged touch augmented 8pp and gets 28." 12 [1d20=14]
<Pepo> roll 1d100 miss chance
* Hatbot --> "Pepo rolls 1d100 miss chance and gets 98." 12 [1d100=98]
<Pepo> roll 9d6 electricity
* Hatbot --> "Pepo rolls 9d6 electricity and gets 29." 12 [9d6=3, 3, 1, 2, 6, 5, 1, 6, 2]
<Kotono> The ray aims true and blasts through the phantasm. It crackles all over but shows little reaction otherwise. OOC: Veren.
<Kotono> Bash's gaze whips towards Pepo, "The hell?" he mutters.
* Veren steps in towards the apparition to flank it with the flying blades and stabs out with a dagger!
<Lucy> "Are there particular weaknesses or strengths to these shades, Mister Bash?" Lucy asks calmly, as if she weren't in melee with an angry poltergeist.
<Veren > roll 1d20+12 Atk 1
* Hatbot --> "Veren rolls 1d20+12 Atk 1 and gets 28." 12 [1d20=16]
<Veren > roll 1d20+7 Atk 2
* Hatbot --> "Veren rolls 1d20+7 Atk 2 and gets 22." 12 [1d20=15]
<Kotono> OOC: Are those daggers magical?
<Veren > OOC: Nope.
<Kotono> The thrusts are aimed well, but they pass through the ghost like it isn't there. They don't even cause the ghost's form to react. OOC: Yeah, need magic weapons against incorporeal. Bash.
<Kotono> Bash shakes his head, "They're damned strong," he says, gesturing. An array of green lights swirl around the party, all of them moving faster now. OOC: Hasted. Moore.
<Lucy> "So they are killable, it merely takes considerable effort?" Lucy confirms, before they waste their time for no reward.
<Moore> Moore continues to play the Lyre, since even if they beat the poltergeist it's a waste of the tunnel isn't completed!
<Kotono> "Yeah," Bash says, "They just don't show much damage." OOC: Lucy and Poltergeist are up.
<Lucy> "So we need to really get their attention?" Lucy asks curiously, as her daggers slash at the undead. "I can do that. Veren, I truly suggest not being there behind it for much longer." She takes a step back, and with a blown kiss magical missiles assault the shade further!
<Lucy> roll 1d20+17
* Hatbot --> "Lucy rolls 1d20+17 and gets 26." 12 [1d20=9]
<Lucy> roll 1d20+17
* Hatbot --> "Lucy rolls 1d20+17 and gets 29." 12 [1d20=12]
<Lucy> roll 2#1d100
* Hatbot --> "Lucy rolls 2#1d100 and gets 69." 12 [2#1d100 = 20, 49]
<Lucy> roll 5d4+5 arcanist's gloves as swift
* Hatbot --> "Lucy rolls 5d4+5 arcanist's gloves as swift and gets 15." 12 [5d4=3, 3, 2, 1, 1]
<Kotono> The daggers dance and fail to do much, while the missiles impact the ghost like stones on water. The ripples pass after a few seconds, leaving it seemingly none the worse for wear. "Exactly," Bash calls, "Don't hold anything back that works if you want to live!" Meanwhile, the ghost focuses on Lucy, a pair of slashes coming at her.
<Kotono> roll 1d20+15
* Hatbot --> "Kotono rolls 1d20+15 and gets 17." 12 [1d20=2]
<Kotono> roll 1d20+10
* Hatbot --> "Kotono rolls 1d20+10 and gets 16." 12 [1d20=6]
<Kotono> OOC: AC?
<Kotono> OOC: Or not since boootched.
<Kotono> But Lucy weaves amid the steady stream of slashes, avoiding the ghost's relentless efforts. OOC: Pepo.
<Lucy> OOC: Normal AC26, Incorporeal 19, for future reference
<Pepo> Without any reaction it's hard to gauge what works best, but nonetheless Pepo lets loose a jet of flame this time, it's color chaotically mixing between orange, red, blue, and white as it surges forth!
<Pepo> roll 1d100 wild surge 5+
* Hatbot --> "Pepo rolls 1d100 wild surge 5+ and gets 15." 12 [1d100=15]
<Pepo> roll 1d100 chaotic surge
* Hatbot --> "Pepo rolls 1d100 chaotic surge and gets 52." 12 [1d100=52]
<Pepo> OOC: +50% so empowered
<Pepo> roll 1d20+14 ranged touch, 8pp augment
* Hatbot --> "Pepo rolls 1d20+14 ranged touch, 8pp augment and gets 20." 12 [1d20=6]
<Pepo> roll 1d100 miss chance
* Hatbot --> "Pepo rolls 1d100 miss chance and gets 31." 12 [1d100=31]
<Kotono> The blast of fire flies, but the poltergeist just fades in and out through it. It's like trying to hit air. OOC: Veren.
* Veren realizes he's not able to do anything and so moves to a position where can, at the very least, take a hit for the still casting Moore.
<Veren > OOC: Just moving in front of Moore and going defensive, I guess.
<Kotono> OOC: Okay. Bash.
<Kotono> Bash holds back, "Just keep hitting it like that," he calls, as...OOC: Moore. Assuming you're just playing, so Lucy.
* Lucy redoubles her efforts, as this time eight missiles assault the specter on top of her animated daggers!
<Lucy> roll 1d20+17+1
<Lucy> roll 1d20+17+1
* Hatbot --> "Lucy rolls 1d20+17+1 and gets 20." 12 [1d20=2]
* Hatbot --> "Lucy rolls 1d20+17+1 and gets 26." 12 [1d20=8]
<Lucy> roll 2#1d100
* Hatbot --> "Lucy rolls 2#1d100 and gets 115." 12 [2#1d100 = 77, 38]
<Kotono> OOC: One hit.
<Lucy> OOC: I'll grab the first roll? Or reroll?
<Lucy> roll 4d4+4 standard
* Hatbot --> "Lucy rolls 4d4+4 standard and gets 14." 12 [4d4=1, 2, 3, 4]
<Lucy> roll 4d4+4 quickened
<Kotono> OOC: I mean one hit after the d100s.
* Hatbot --> "Lucy rolls 4d4+4 quickened and gets 10." 12 [4d4=1, 1, 1, 3]
<Kotono> Dagger and missile hit. This time the specter begins to melt into ectoplasm, but as it does, it takes two last swings at Lucy.
<Kotono> roll 1d20+15
* Hatbot --> "Kotono rolls 1d20+15 and gets 20." 12 [1d20=5]
<Lucy> roll 1d4+9 magic
* Hatbot --> "Lucy rolls 1d4+9 magic and gets 13." 12 [1d4=4]
<Kotono> roll 1d20+10
* Hatbot --> "Kotono rolls 1d20+10 and gets 30." 12 [1d20=20]
<Kotono> roll 1d20+10 crit
* Hatbot --> "Kotono rolls 1d20+10 crit and gets 14." 12 [1d20=4]
<Kotono> roll 1d10+15+2d6 (2d6 is negative energy)
* Hatbot --> "Kotono rolls 1d10+15+2d6 (2d6 is negative energy) and gets 28." 12 [1d10=10][2d6=2, 1]
<Kotono> OOC: What's your DR?
<Lucy> OOC: I have no DR, but I did have a question about an immediate interrupt before you rolled damage  >_>
This is not the greatest post in the world, no... this is just a tribute.
