<Kotono> -----
<Moore> "Wait!" Moore calls out, clearing his throat and switching his language to Aquan in hopes that this serpent may understand it. "Please, we're not here to fight!"
<Kotono> OOC: I'm going to call for init first. While it's clearly hostile, you're free to talk to it once init's resolved and all that.
<Veren > roll 1d20+4+8 Init
<Serith> Veren roll for Serith < 18 > 12 [d20=6]
<Pepo> roll 1d20+6+8
<Serith> Pepo roll for Serith < 27 > 12 [d20=13]
<Kotono> roll 1d20+12 Jetina
<Serith> Kotono roll for Serith < 26 > 12 [d20=14]
<Kotono> roll 1d20+5 Water serpent
<Serith> Kotono roll for Serith < 9 > 12 [d20=4]
<Moore> OOC: Sure
<Moore> roll 1d20+5+8
<Serith> Moore roll for Serith < 23 > 12 [d20=10]
<Kotono> OOC: Someone roll for Lucy real quick?
> roll 1d20+4+8 Lucy Init
<Serith> Veren roll for Serith < 21 > 12 [d20=9]
* Kotono changes topic to 'Pepo(27)>Jetina(26)>Moore(23)>Lucy(21)>Veren(18)>Giant Water Serpent(9) '
<Kotono> OOC: Open Pepo.
<Kotono> If the serpent understands what Moore is saying, it makes no indication of such. It looks like a giant serpent made of water, features flowing and alien.
<Pepo> roll 1d100 5+ wild surge
<Serith> Pepo roll for Serith < 89 > 12 [d100=89]
<Pepo> While his power is limited, expending it to gain a powerful serpent is worth the effort. His eyes glow and a dull mind-dulling tone echoes within the serpent's mind!
<Pepo> OOC: dominate monster, DC 24 will augmented 4pp
<Pepo> OOC: strike, I made a mistake
<Pepo> OOC: I can't augment it high enough to get elementals.
<Pepo> Pepo's power is limited and that thing looks like it can take a lot of abuse so he tries to just make it go away for a while.
<Pepo> OOC: extended time hop, DC 21 will
<Kotono> roll 1d20+11 will
<Serith> Kotono roll for Serith < 28 > 12 [d20=17]
<Kotono> Pepo throws much of his remaining power at the serpent - but it simply does not vanish, resisting the twisting of time. OOC: No joy there, Pepo. Jetina's up, she'll hold a sec. Go moore.
<Pepo> That didn't work so he moves away behind the rest of the party anyway! OOC: moving 40 feet directly away
<Kotono> OOC: Sure.
<Moore> "We just want to leave you and the rest of this place in peace!" Moore calls out in Aquan again. "We truly don't want to fight, but we will if we have to!" He switches over to Common since the Serpent may understand that. Either way, he flies up to get level with the serpent's top, but no closer. OOC: That'll be it for me.
<Kotono> OOC: Okay. Lucy, go.
<Kotono> The serpent continues to stare at the party, no obvious reaction to the words.
* Lucy looks between the rising serpent, the retreating Pepo and Moore... and then just walks away from the river, willing the serpent to go away.
<Lucy> OOC: move 30ft away, Suggestion to go away at DC24
<Kotono> roll 1d20+11 will
<Serith> Kotono roll for Serith < 23 > 12 [d20=12]
<Kotono> OOC: Success, though you won't know what happens until its turn. Veren.
<Kotono> Jetina, seeing the party fall back, starts to retreat as well.
* Veren eyes the others and moves to join them. OOC: 30 ft. move.
<Kotono> The party falls back, around the tossed bridge. At the same time, the serpent seems to think better of the encounter, slipping back into the river. Soon the party is safe and away from the river, no sign of the serpent. OOC: Free act.
<Lucy> If only more enemies were this sensible!
<Moore> Moore lets out a breath and flies down to the others. "Well, that was easy. I'm glad it went on its way."
<Veren > "That was... a surprisingly pleasant way to deal with that. I will admit, I'm running on empty on my mental power."
* Lucy snickers.
<Pepo> 'It worked out for the best.'
<Kotono> "I'm a little tired, too," Jetina says, "Though the thought of camping in this forest isn't an agreeable one."
<Lucy> "We are not doing that, of course. And certainly not while so close!"
<Veren > "It's simply something to keep in mind when we go into battle."
<Kotono> OOC: Okay, are you all ready to move along now?
> OOC: I be.
<Moore> OOC: Yar
<Kotono> roll 1d100
<Serith> Kotono roll for Serith < 20 > 12 [d100=20]
<Kotono> roll 1d100+5
<Serith> Kotono roll for Serith < 18 > 12 [d100=13]
<Kotono> Despite the massive slam of stone on ground, no further trouble comes to the party. They continue to follow the path onwards - for a good 15 minutes, to where it ceases. Ahead in all directions is trackless forest. Slow, hard going, notably.
<Pepo> 'We should spread out so we have a better chance of finding this cleft,' Pepo suggests.
<Lucy> "First, may I see your crystal, Mister Pepo?" Lucy voices. "Perhaps it will have a better idea."
<Pepo> 'I do not have a crystal,' Pepo says. How would he carry it?
<Lucy> "I was asking for permission, really."
<Moore> "She means the ..oh, right, Veren, that green crystal." Moore says. "Can you get that for us please?"
* Veren hands it over.
* Lucy taps it with a fingernail, as one might knock upon a door.
<Pepo> 'Oh, I had forgotten about that one.' He'd been insistent to get it yes, but after touching it and being possessed he dismissed it entirely. Good thing Veren picked it up!
<Kotono> There's a stirring in Lucy's hand. Her hand extends out of its own volition, towards Pepo and Veren.
* Lucy taps Veren next.
<Kotono> Veren is tapped. Nothing seems to happen.
<Lucy> "Huh. Maybe you should try it?"
* Veren shrugs and taps the gem.
<Kotono> OOC: Make a Will save, Veren.
<Veren > roll 1d20+8 Will Save!
<Lucy> 'Can you really not hear me or are you only pretending?' Lucy thinks curiously to the crystal as Veren tries it.
<Serith> Veren roll for Serith < 21 > 12 [d20=13]
<Kotono> When Veren taps the crystal, his hand suddenly grabs it. His eyes blaze green as Rashemi's voice comes out instead, "Again with senses, hm?"
<Lucy> "I think we're lost! Or it is a really good illusion. Could you save us some time looking, you think?"
<Kotono> Veren slowly looks around, "This place seems wrong," he finally says, "It may be an illusion, or some other magic has changed it. That's all I can tell in the state I'm in."
<Lucy> "How far from the river were we supposed to go?"
<Pepo> Pepo resignedly manifests true seeing.
* Veren blinks and turns to Pepo, staring a moment before reaching down and placing his hand on Pepo's head.
<Pepo> He has no objection to being petted while he sees the truth of things.
<Kotono> On doing so, Pepo and Veren are surrounded by a green nimbus. Their minds are rejuvenated as the nimbus fades. Meanwhile, Pepo can see that you stand in a place of shadows. A place only as real as a shadow's glimmer in the corner of your eye, overlaid over reality. The reality is that the path continues on.  OOC: 8 PP recovered, both of you.
<Pepo> 'Thank you,' Pepo tells Veren/Reshemi. 'The forest is an illusion. Follow me,' he instructs, starting along the path.
<Lucy> "Certainly!"
<Moore> Moore nods and will follow along, making sure to stay near Jetina!
<Kotono> Jetina follows, "What was that?" she asks in the meantime.
<Lucy> "Petting?"
<Pepo> 'Also a transfer of psionic power. Which is fortunate as I am near my limit, even with that,' Pepo informs them.
<Kotono> With the party going ahead, it seems like you pass into solid trees - and then you're on a normal path again, the illusion gone.
<Moore> "I think we're almost there." Moore says to try and encourage the others. "What a bizarre place."
<Veren > "I was completely spent, myself. I haven't fully recovered, but I can make good use of what was transferred to me."
<Kotono> "Wizards are strange things, aren't they?" Jetina murmurs, glancing at Lucy, "No offense."
<Lucy> "We're not the ones who recover magic from a group hug," she responds with a shrug. "None taken."
<Pepo> 'Isn't there a divine spell that shares your prepared spells just like that?' Pepo asks.
<Lucy> "There is. But wizards are still better off with arcane magic."
<Pepo> 'If your self-image is that invested in it then I won't quibble,' Pepo relents.
<Lucy> "There is nothing worthwhile in this world that we cannot do or pretend to do!"
<Moore> "I can cast spells using my bardic music if I need to... I wonder if it'd be possible to transfer that to someone else." Moore wonders. "Something to look into when we return and all of this business is dealt with."
<Kotono> "The point of the divine is to spread the message anyway. What's a few spells with trusted friends," Jetina smiles, a quirky little one. "And-" OOC: Perception, all.
<Veren > roll 1d20+13 Perception
<Kotono> roll 1d20+11 Jetina
<Serith> Veren roll for Serith < 21 > 12 [d20=8]
<Serith> Kotono roll for Serith < 19 > 12 [d20=8]
<Lucy> roll 1d20+21
<Serith> Lucy roll for Serith < 37 > 12 [d20=16]
<Moore> roll 1d20+13
<Serith> Moore roll for Serith < 20 > 12 [d20=7]
<Pepo> roll 1d20+17
<Serith> Pepo roll for Serith < 24 > 12 [d20=7]
<Kotono> Lucy hears it. The sound of metal on stone, like a sword striking flint. It's came from above the party.
<Lucy> "Scatter!" Lucy cries out, dashing to the left.
<Moore> Moore will fly forward and go invisible at the same time!
* Veren darts away from the others with no hesitation.
<Pepo> Pepo athletically and gracefully leaps backwards! He does a weird jazz hands thing as well.
<Kotono> Jetina yelps and leaps backwards. The party splits in all directions as death comes from above. A figure in full plate armor with a sword of dull black stone. A figure of red-eyed shadows, face hidden behind a full helmet. A corona of burning fire bursts where it lands - where the party was just moments ago. "Another ambush?" Jetina says with disgust, as...OOC: Init. Stunningly, the undead-laden
<Kotono> forest is still hostile.
<Lucy> roll 1d20+4+8
<Serith> Lucy roll for Serith < 17 > 12 [d20=5]
<Kotono> roll 1d20+12 Jetina
<Serith> Kotono roll for Serith < 31 > 12 [d20=19]
<Veren > roll 1d20+4+8 Init
<Serith> Veren roll for Serith < 22 > 12 [d20=10]
<Kotono> roll 1d20+9 knight
<Serith> Kotono roll for Serith < 21 > 12 [d20=12]
* Kotono changes topic to 'Jetina(31)>Veren(22)>Knight(21)>Lucy(17) '
<Pepo> roll 1d20+6+8
<Moore> roll 1d20+8+5
<Serith> Pepo roll for Serith < 33 > 12 [d20=19]
<Serith> Moore roll for Serith < 25 > 12 [d20=12]
* Kotono changes topic to 'Pepo(33)>Jetina(31)>Moore(25)>Veren(22)>Knight(21)>Lucy(17) '
<Kotono> OOC: Open Pepo. You all are 30ft away from him at various angles, since you scurried away from the ambush.
<Pepo> It's been a while since he's shot something, and a while since he's called on the powers of chaos. So Pepo does that, in the hopes of ending this quickly! But the thing uses fire so might be immune, and undead are thematically linked to cold. Then he notices the plate armor and it all makes sense.
<Pepo> roll 1d100 5+ wild surge
<Serith> Pepo roll for Serith < 5 > 12 [d100=5]
<Pepo> roll 1d100 lucky! chaotic surge, augmenting this 8pp
<Serith> Pepo roll for Serith < 67 > 12 [d100=67]
<Pepo> OOC: empowered
<Kotono> OOC: Okay, so how does the wild surge work?
<Pepo> roll 1d20+14+3 lightning ray +3 for metal armor ranged touch
<Serith> Pepo roll for Serith < 28 > 12 [d20=11]
<Pepo> OOC: 1-25 half, 26-50 normal, 51-75 empowered, 76-100 maximized
<Pepo> OOC: wait, that same logic. The 5 earlier failed.
<Kotono> OOC: Oh, I thought it was 1-5, not 1-4.
<Pepo> OOC: so this is all moot, I'm fucked
<Pepo> OOC: dazed and I lose 9pp
<Pepo> OOC: 1 round on the daze
<Pepo> Pepo suddenly has a crushing headache and mews pitifully, his all-powerful lightning ray forgotten.
<Kotono> OOC: Ow, bad luck. Jetina's up
<Kotono> .
<Kotono> "Is that? But here, like this? Randomly? A death knight?" Jetina mutters in disbelief, "It can't be." Nonetheless she readies her sword and charges in, holy energies gathering around it.
<Kotono> roll 1d20+14 (+4 smite evil)
<Serith> Kotono roll for Serith < 15 > 12 [d20=1]
<Kotono> But the knight's blade comes up, parrying hers. The stone blade stops the metal one cold, to the point that a crack runs up and down Jetina's sword. OOC: Moore.
<Moore> As Jetina has run in, Moore decides to embolden her and give her an inspiration to greatness! "Miss Jetina! Let's work together to put this creature down!" OOC: I'll move closer to her if I need to
<Moore> roll 2d10 extra hps
<Serith> Moore roll for Serith < 16 > 12 [d10=8,8]
<Kotono> OOC: Okay, noted. Also wowzers.
<Moore> OOC: woop
<Kotono> Moore comes closer and sings, bolstering Jetina's spirits. She seems to grow larger, swelling to larger than life posture. OOC: ???? is up.
<Moore> OOC: +2 attack rolls and 1 fort
<Kotono> Suddenly ,there is a crackle in the air around Veren. A ghostly skull appears before him, wreathed in black flames. It's the size of Veren and cackles loudly before diving at him, chomping mouth first.
* Kotono changes topic to 'Pepo(33)>Jetina(31)>Moore(25)>Black Skull(23)>Veren(22)>Knight(21)>Lucy(17) '
<Kotono> roll 1d20+11 AC?
<Serith> Kotono roll for Serith < 12 > 12 [d20=1]
<Veren > OOC: 26.
<Kotono> But Veren's reflexes are supernaturally good. He rolls back and behind a log, which is chomped on. It explodes violently into ash, dissolving before your eyes. But it's followed up with a beam of black fire from the skull's empty eyes.
<Kotono> roll 1d20+9 touch AC?
<Serith> Kotono roll for Serith < 14 > 12 [d20=5]
> OOC: 14 I believe.
<Kotono> roll 3d6 fire damage
<Serith> Kotono roll for Serith < 7 > 12 [d6=2,1,4]
<Kotono> The blast gets Veren in the shoulder, a searing pain as the flesh there is flash-fried. As he reels from that...OOC: Go Veren.
<Veren > OOC: Is the skull far enough away to get around, or would it AoO me?
<Kotono> OOC: AoO.
* Veren moves to stab the skull, hopefully usefully, but does so with a feint, hoping to put it off-balance for the rest of the group to take advantage of!
<Veren > roll 1d20+19 Bluff/Feint, Swift Action
<Serith> Veren roll for Serith < 39 > 12 [d20=20]
<Kotono> OOC: No point, it can't beat that.
<Veren > roll 1d20+13 ATK 1
<Serith> Veren roll for Serith < 28 > 12 [d20=15]
<Veren > roll 1d20+8 ATK 2
<Serith> Veren roll for Serith < 23 > 12 [d20=15]
<Kotono> OOC: Both hit.
<Veren > roll 1d4+3 ATK 1 Target is flat-footed for everyone after this attack
<Serith> Veren roll for Serith < 6 > 12 [d4=3]
<Veren > roll 1d4+3 ATK 2
<Serith> Veren roll for Serith < 4 > 12 [d4=1]
<Veren > OOC: I don't think that lets me apply SA, does it?
<Kotono> OOC: It doesn't, but still two solid hits.
<Kotono> The skull is stabbed twice, feinted to the side. It's off balance from it, defenses down as it tried to right itself. The blows aren't the best, but they do a good job of getting in just the  right position. OOC: Okay, Knight's up.
<Kotono> The knight merely kicks Jetina back before it utters a single word. The world is horrifying and terrible, one only Lucy knows - the Dark Speech. It brings a sense of anticipatory dread to her, as...OOC: Will all. This is a mind-affecting, fear effect.
<Pepo> roll 1d20+8
<Serith> Pepo roll for Serith < 12 > 12 [d20=4]
<Moore> roll 1d20+11
<Serith> Moore roll for Serith < 12 > 12 [d20=1]
<Lucy> roll 1d20+5
<Serith> Lucy roll for Serith < 7 > 12 [d20=2]
<Moore> OOC: Off course
<Veren > roll 1d20+8+5 Will/Inspiration
<Serith> Veren roll for Serith < 14 > 12 [d20=1]
<Kotono> roll 1d20+11 Jetina
<Serith> Kotono roll for Serith < 24 > 12 [d20=13]
<Pepo> OOC: +2 I think from Moore
<Veren > OOC: FFFFfffffff. 1s.
<Pepo> OOC: wait no he didn't use inspire courage
<Kotono> OOC: All of you but Jetina are shaken.
<Kotono> As raw, primal fear blossoms in the heart of all, the knight turns and unleashes a single heavy swing at Jetina.
<Kotono> roll 1d20+10 (-5 PA, +2 ???)
<Serith> Kotono roll for Serith < 21 > 12 [d20=11]
<Kotono> roll 2d6+22
<Serith> Kotono roll for Serith < 26 > 12 [d6=1,3]
<Kotono> Jetina's hacked right across the side. It draws only a little blood, the blow somehow endured better than it should be. Jetina stumbles back along the path as....OOC: Lucy.
* Lucy rethinks her original plan of wading into melee, instead backing away and peppering the floating skull with missiles of force!
<Lucy> roll 4d4+4
<Serith> Lucy roll for Serith < 14 > 12 [d4=2,4,2,2]
<Kotono> The missiles hit home hard, rocking the skull. Already off balance, it is sent down hard onto the ground. It's starting to lift back up, when...OOC: That it, Lucy?
<Lucy> OOC: Yes
<Kotono> Then, the sound of a horn can be heard. A trumpet blast, as if to announce a grand charge. From the empty air above a rain of arrows peppers the party.
<Kotono> roll 1d20+5 AC all?
<Serith> Kotono roll for Serith < 18 > 12 [d20=13]
<Pepo> OOC: 24
<Lucy> OOC: 29
<Veren > OOC: 26.
<Moore> OOC: 30
<Kotono> roll 1d8+2 skull only
<Serith> Kotono roll for Serith < 3 > 12 [d8=1]
<Kotono> The only thing of note is that the skull is grazed by an arrow. It's knocked a little further off balance, chipped all over now. OOC: Pepo.
<Pepo> He needs preserve his powers but if he doesn't do something against this lot then fighting the four-armed thing will be moot. With that in mind Pepo takes the second-most efficient course and the most efficient of actions available to him at this point and focuses on creating a suitable construct to battle these foes!
<Pepo> OOC: astral construct, 7pp augmented +1 from wild surge. I'll roll the surge after it resolves next turn.
<Kotono> OOC: Okay. Jetina's up.
<Kotono> Jetina coughs from the kick and dodges a few stray arrows, before sheathing her blade in holy power and striking once more. "For Qupan!"
<Kotono> roll 1d20+15 (+2 moore, +4 smite, -1 PA)
<Serith> Kotono roll for Serith < 22 > 12 [d20=7]
<Kotono> roll 1d20+6 (+2 moore, -1 PA)
<Serith> Kotono roll for Serith < 9 > 12 [d20=3]
<Kotono> roll 2d6+17
<Serith> Kotono roll for Serith < 27 > 12 [d6=5,5]
<Kotono> Jetina manages a solid blow, parrying the sword of the knight before slashing into his side. No blood comes, only bone chips. "It's a skeleton beneath it!" Jetina calls, as holy power floods it. Its body flashes white, a hiss of pain coming from the swordsman. OOC: Moore.
<Moore> "All right, everyone! Let's defeat this thing just as we have everything else that's crossed us!" Moore calls to his allies, as he touches the Badge of Valor on his chest. He wills courage into his allies! OOC: Inspire Courage but with a +1 bonus, so +3 to charm/fear and weapon and damage rolls
<Moore> OOC: Staying invisible for all the good it does
<Kotono> OOC: Got it.
<Kotono> Moore's words fill the party with bravery as the skull slowly rights itself. It seems completely off balance still, but lunges forward at Veren.
<Kotono> roll 1d20+11 AC?
<Serith> Kotono roll for Serith < 25 > 12 [d20=14]
<Veren > OOC: 26.
<Kotono> It almost gets Veren, but at the last moment he dives to the side. All the skull gets his a mouthful of forest mist, black flames dancing in the air where Veren was a split-second ago. He can feel the flames, the heat of them lapping against him as he just barely dodges. OOC: Veren, go.
* Veren tries to slam his blades into the skull again, feinting again! It's not doing much, but hey, it's practice!
<Veren > roll 1d20+19-2 Bluff/Shaken
<Serith> Veren roll for Serith < 24 > 12 [d20=7]
<Veren > roll 1d20+13-2+3 ATK 1

<Serith> Veren roll for Serith < 26 > 12 [d20=17]
<Kotono> roll 1d20+10 feint
<Serith> Kotono roll for Serith < 18 > 12 [d20=8]
<Kotono> OOC: Feint, even.
<Kotono> OOC: Two hits
<Veren > roll1d4+3-2-3 Damage 1, Flatfooted
<Veren > roll 1d4+3-2-3 Damage 1, Flatfooted
<Serith> Veren roll for Serith < 1 > 12 [d4=3]
<Veren > roll 1d4+3-2-3 Damage 2
<Serith> Veren roll for Serith < 0 > 12 [d4=2]
<Kotono> OOC: Why -3 at the end again?
<Veren > OOC: Whoops, wrong sign there.
<Veren > roll 1d4+3-2+3 Damage 1
<Serith> Veren roll for Serith < 7 > 12 [d4=3]
<Veren > roll 1d4+3-2+3 Damage 2
<Serith> Veren roll for Serith < 5 > 12 [d4=1]
<Veren > OOC: That -/+ 3 was supposed to be Moore bonus
* Kotono changes topic to 'Pepo(33)>Jetina(31)>Moore(25)>Veren(22)>Knight(21)>Lucy(17) '
<Kotono> The skull is jerked aside again, before Veren stabs in. He goes all the way into the jaw of the skull, tearing up. Bone gives way with a horrifying crunch, the skull cut deeply. It crumbles to ruin and goes cold, the flames gone. Got it! OOC: One down. Knight's up.
<Kotono> The knight looks around...before settling on Jetina. It points at her without a word spoken.
<Kotono> roll 1d20+16 Will (+5 since not shaken)
<Serith> Kotono roll for Serith < 26 > 12 [d20=10]
<Kotono> But nothing seems to happen! OOC: Lucy.
* Lucy isn't really happy with her choices, and just decides to shoot the armored enemy with electricity from a safe distance!
<Lucy> roll 1d20+9-2+4 ranged touch
<Serith> Lucy roll for Serith < 23 > 12 [d20=12]
<Lucy> roll 4d6 elec
<Serith> Lucy roll for Serith < 15 > 12 [d6=1,5,3,6]
<Kotono> A direct hit. The knight is struck, body silently convulsing. It still looks strong, though, despite the wounds. OOC: Pepo.
<Pepo> A green knight of similar appearance to the death knight manifests out of ectoplasm, rising up to tower over the other side of it from Jetina and swinging its plank-like sword down at its quarry! OOC: using extra attack menu item
<Kotono> OOC: Okay.
<Pepo> roll 1d20+13+2 flanking
<Pepo> roll 1d20+13+2 flanking
<Pepo> roll 1d20+13+2 flanking
<Serith> Pepo roll for Serith < 25 > 12 [d20=10]
<Serith> Pepo roll for Serith < 26 > 12 [d20=11]
<Serith> Pepo roll for Serith < 35 > 12 [d20=20]
<Kotono> OOC: All hit.
<Pepo> roll 3#1d8+9
<Serith> Pepo roll for Serith < 13, 16, 16 >
<Pepo> roll 1d100 wild surge
<Serith> Pepo roll for Serith < 70 > 12 [d100=70]
<Pepo> Pepo meanwhile hides!
<Pepo> roll 1d20+32 stealth
<Serith> Pepo roll for Serith < 38 > 12 [d20=6]
<Kotono> The knight, already a bit wounded, is savaged from behind. Back armor is torn apart as blades clash into it. It's staggered briefly, giving Jetina a chance. "Now DIE!" she screams, "The dead don't walk!"
<Kotono> roll 1d20+13 (+2 moore, another +2 moore that stacks, +2 flanking, -3 PA)

<Kotono> The first blow cuts the knight's left arm off, causing it to drop its blade. The second comes with a shout as she cuts it through the waist, top and bottom separated. The skeleton falls and goes still here, a severed pile of bones, armor and blade. Got it! OOC: Free act.
* Lucy claps.
<Kotono> Jetina lets out a long breath, "We won!" Planting her sword down and resting against it, "That couldn't have been a death knight. You don't just come across one like this. They lead entire armies of the unliving. But it was still fairly strong."
<Pepo> Pepo sullenly climbs up onto his construct and takes advantage of it for the brief moment of its existence, sending it marching ahead.
* Veren glances at his dagger a bit disgruntled, but palms it, looks over his wounds for a moment, then begins checking for items of use on the bodies.
<Lucy> "Maybe it was one without a job?" Lucy muses, coming over. "And we could certainly see why that was so!"
<Kotono> OOC: Post Veren.
<Moore> Moore casts a Detect Magic on the remains of the knight, in case there's anything wrong with any of it!
<Kotono> The armor and sword are both magic.
<Moore> roll 1d20+13 Spellcraftiness
