The hydra sniffs Surraruthru several times before rearing back and studying him intensely, sharply. It's starting to twitch in the water.

Uh oh. This isn't good. It's not hostile, oh no. It's sizing you up as a potential mate. It's interested in you and it (she?) sees something it likes. Normally that would be absurd since you're not a hydra, but dragons do have a reputation.

This can't possibly be good.

That was not a check you wanted to fail, but fail you did.

Surraruthru begins to look slightly... confused... He's not sure what to do about this...

"Well... It's... *She...* isn't hostile. She's considering me as a.. mate."

... After all, dragons *do* have a reputation.

Ebony's voice stops abruptly, followed by Kascha quickly swimming over. Her eyes are wide as can be as she says, "Um, that's a bad idea. A really bad idea. How about we just go back a bit?" she suggests, rather quickly.

Meanwhile the cyrohydra licks all of it lips as it studies Surraruthru.

"I agree, though I don't understand why you're so alarmed. Does it eat its mates or some such? Either way, it's not hostile. Do we want to continue past it?"

[Anastasia]

"How about we try mine instead," Kascha says quickly, "You're too young to get started on this," she adds, grabbing him and pulling him back.

[Iron Dragoon]

"Fine. I'm not *that* young. An army of Cryohydras wouldn't be bad, though..."

He doesn't resist Kascha's pulling, though.

[Anastasia]

Kascha leads you back to hers, while Ebony meets up with you. A seven headed one is here, watching Kascha sedately. There's space to go past it, but not a lot - you'd need to wiggle and swim carefully. "Don't worry," Kascha says in a soft, soothing voice, using Celestial. "We're just going to go by, okay?"

Ebony stops at that, "Possibly so, but how do we deal with them? They're mere animals in mind, we can't negotiate with them."

"Do we not have any Druids? We could always try to use magic to make them intelligent so we can."

Kascha takes ten on K:A here.

"Awakening only works on animals and trees. You'd need something more specialized," Kascha says, leaning against the tunnel wall and stopping, smiling warmly at the hydra. It seems content to watch as Kascha goes on. "I'm sure it exists, or we could develop it...or maybe mimic it with a wish or miracle," she says, suddenly smiling. "Of course! That would be it!"
