You find you are in a great complex of storage rooms. Dozens of them, generally ransacked. You pick up a few odds and ends as you go, but most of it is just the leavings of others. You eventually find a stairway going down and follow it. Below are empty weapon and armor racks, some broken and splintered. Little is here and in due time you find another stairway down. This leads to a hallway that ends in a dead end - a sealed iron door is here, a great circle of unmoving metal. Ebony tries the door and says, "Locked."

It looks like an iron door. Enough acid would probably do it. There's no visible lock or keyhole. The wall around it is the same stone, so it should melt just fine.

Since it's closed, it's a self reinforcing loop that it stays close, since it can only open when it's already open."

Ebony frowns and then asks, "Which means we can't open it because it's not already open?"

"Exactly. Which means it's not meant to be open. This must be a vault and I'd wager there's still treasure behind there." Kascha taps thew all with her knuckles, "But it'll need some serious magic to get past."
