Very good, anything or just fishing for info?

If there's any current information they have he'd go for that. His intention is to eventually go there himself so he'd like to be up on the current events as much as possible.

Day 2 of information about the Samgan Empire proceeds apace. Now that you've found out the basics, you rove Aurora's library for more. You find one thing - while Aurora's library is massive and great for obscure subjects, planar lore, magical theory and dozens of other things, it's relatively weak for current Prime events. There's so many and they move on a much faster scale than planar affairs.

By early afternoon, you take a break and rest your head on your arms. As you do, Elder Magi Tepen comes by. "Ah, Moore," he murmurs, keeping his voice down. "Vul'lath mentioned you've been gathering information about a mortal empire?"

Moore nods to Tepen. "Elder Magi." Moore responds quietly. "Yes, it's... mm. I found a place during what happened in the Deep Ethereal. I've been trying to figure out how to return, because I've been led to believe that the person I met there could be an ally to us."

Anastasia

"Aaah," Elder Magi Tepen sits next to Moore, resting his staff against the table. Brushing back a bit of his brown hair, "This library has many strengths, but one of them is not Prime esoteric. There's too many of them and they change too fast." Tepen says, then pauses, "Spoken like a true spirit. To the point, you'd be better served with divinations or research elsewhere."

Moore nods. "I've been getting that impression. My previous divinations on the subject led me to believe I needed to find 'the lost island Algorand,' which was apparently a legend told in this particular place. Perhaps I should just ask the higher powers who in that place could lead me there to cut out some busy work." Moore says with a quiet laugh.

Anastasia

Tepen rubs his chin, "I'm normally loathe to trust divinations too much," he admits, "They're a powerful tool, but you can grow too reliant on them. Determination and common sense can be just as potent, if you don't forget they exist. However, this is the situation where you want to consider a divination. The knowledge is too specialized to a single Prime."

Moore nods. "It seems like it's a situation where I'm going to have to invest some resources, so it's best to take it slowly. There's no need to rush this particular matter." Moore nods to Tepen. "I think I'll see where I get with it today and then figure things out from there."

Anastasia

"Good fortune," Elder Magi Tepen says, then snaps his fingers. "Actually, Sylvie's just finishing up a project. Would you like her help?"

"Oh, Miss Sylvie? Yes, she'd be an excellent person to help!" Moore says with some excitement, but he manages to keep his voice low. "I've never worked directly with her, but I've heard a lot about her."

Anastasia

"I'll send her over," Tepen promises. Soon enough she comes on over, blonde hair tied back. Her pace is quick as she settles in next to you, "So you're trying to research information on a mythical island?" she asks.

Moore nods. "Yes, it's called Algorand." Moore takes out a piece of paper that he wrote his notes on. "I received a divination to find 'the sealed gate in Algorand' which is how I'll find my way to where I need to go." Moore will show Sylvie his notes, which mention the Samgan Empire and the story related to Algorand.

Anastasia

Sylvie looks over them before nodding. "We'll give it a try," she says.

Just going to keep looking in the books here?

Yes. He'll try and save them time with Scholar's Touch as usual and he'll keep a Divine Insight up in case it's needed.

With Sylvie's help, you plow into the library anew. She quickly finds the information you've found and a little more - a mention of the same myth in slightly different terms. But not a lot else, hours passing. Sylvie leans back in her chair, pushing a book aside, "I think you need to look somewhere else," she says, "Or use magic."
