Wrap up (Various)

[Anastasia]

A quick trip into the bath follows. Mirajane sinks deeply into the waters, only her head above them. "Ice, right?" she asks, "Something to do with Cryonax?"

[Ebiris]

"Obliquely at least," Afina says, similarly immersed as various colours refract off her bare skin through the steaming waters. "I don't intend to meet with the Archomental directly if I can help it, but I do want to find a place under his control. Absolute Zero, it's a hidden nexus of Cold, probably similar to Magmasoul on Fire where I began my elemental transition. I'm trying to understand more of the elements by going to places where they merge and studying places of power there as much as engaging in self reflection. You're one of the few people on Aurora who can withstand the cold as well as I, so you're a good candidate to accompany me, and your divination skills should prove useful. Also it'd be nice for us to spend more time together, wouldn't it?"

Can't forget the niceties!

[Anastasia]

Mirajane just smiles back, "Bring Bubbles as well. She'll need to be protected, but she can manage the magic for that herself."

[Ebiris]

"If that's what your intuition suggests," she nods agreeably. "I would like to spend more time with Bubbles as well, I like what I've seen so far of her."

[Anastasia]

"Let's not bring Surraruthru. Have you heard? Apparently they've been spending time together and they drive other to madness. Bubbles can be haughty when she disapproves and Surraruthru is a dragon. The chemistry is explosively bad." Mirajane says.

[Ebiris]

She hadn't planned on it, but she can certainly see it. "Haughty is something like a nymph's default state," she comments. "If you've ever heard that someone has a 'resting nymph face' it's not a compliment despite how it might sound. But they can be lots of fun once you get past their guard."

[Anastasia]

"I have gathered that," Mirajane agrees, "Though what fun people expect is often not in line with reality."

[Ebiris]

"You're probably too young to be thinking about that sort of fun anyway," Afina says in Jaela's absence.

[Anastasia]

"I am, but I have no interest." Mirajane murmurs, "In the fullness of time, perhaps I will." She then smiles, "Thank you for your consideration."

[Ebiris]

"Really I'm just saying it because I know Jaela would," Afina admits, leaning back in the water and sinking until her face is just barely above the waterline. "If you're old enough to fight you're old enough to do anything else you care to. But it's fine if you're not interested too, don't let people push you into things just because they think it's expected."

[Anastasia]

'Yes," Mirajane smiles gently, "There will be a time and place for everything. Right now, I suspect that both Mother and Grandmother would make their disapproval known sharply if I felt otherwise."

[Ebiris]

"No doubt," Afina agrees, recalling how Jaela reacted when she got involved with Muirfinn's Father research. Dipping underwater briefly before bouncing back up, she swims towards the edge and pulls herself up. "Ready to go find Bubbles now?"

[Anastasia]

Bubbles is found at the memorial wall. She's alone except for 27, who is curled up and napping in a corner. "Oh, sweeties, do you need me for something?"

[Ebiris]

"Hello Bubbles," Afina greets the nymph, taking a casual look to see if she's examining any particular memorial so she might interject with a relevant comment or story.

[Anastasia]

None of any note, at least that you can notice.
