"She didn't incinerate us where we stood when we met her a few weeks ago.That has to count for something." Moore says.

[Anastasia]

"As you desire," Morniel says, "It will be done."

[Nephrite]

"If you'd like my assistance, please let me know." Moore says to Morniel.

[Ebiris]

Afina merely nods. The price will almost certainly be more than they can bear, but they may as well find out what it is.

[Anastasia]

Okay, that good here? Onto interrogation. That's Afina, are you going to have anyone there to assist you with it?

Really Queenie's probably got the lead on this with me assisting her. She did ask me to bring Willah before her after all. But yeah it'll be us two plus a scribe unless anyone else wants in.

[Anastasia]

Adrian'll be there just in case things get out of hand.

You lead Queen Ilsenine to the dungeons. Adrian follows the both of you. Before you is the cell where Willah sits. She sits on the floor, head bowed. No reaction as you come in, dead silent.

Ilsenine's lips curl up into cold disgust, "Abomination. Traitor." she declares.

[Ebiris]

Afina did some rearrangements when she was here dropping Willah off the first time, moving all the erinyes prisoners out of the wing and replacing them with gelugons and cornugons so as to deprive Willah of any eye candy for her stay.

"Volunteering for scribe duty, Adrian? There's papers and writing implements over there," she gestures to a shelf nearby. "We can probably skip some of the more obvious questions but note for the record - Prisoner Willah, interrogator her Majesty Queen Ilsenine, and details of capture plucked from her refuge at Spirit Gorge during the operation to rescue Lief."

[Anastasia]

"Better me in case things go wrong," Adrian says, getting the supplies. He writes away as Willah looks up. Her expression twists into disgust at Afina - then shock when she sees Ilsenine.

"Ilsenine-" Willah begins.

"Silence, traitor," Ilsenine says, voice cold as a tomb. "You are going to tell us everything you know." She begins to cast, and...

Willah goes still, Ilsenine nodding. "You will answer all of Afina's questions," she commands.

Does Willah know Ilsenine? From before? Her Queen is ancient, and Afina's only been by her side for a few short centuries. She'd considered the nymph's obsession to be the petty focus of a social climber, but that look there... it feels like there's something between the two.

"There's a lot to cover, so we'll start with broad strokes. To start with why don't you tell us the current status of Operation Inferno and Operation Renewal?" she asks, plucking two particular operations from Yian's testimony that hit close to home.

5c. Details of plan: Operation Inferno: The recovery of Queen Ilsenine, to be cast into the Lake of Fire and Brimstone. The current situation was acting on intelligence by the Duke of Destiny, to apprehend a member of her court and Aurora, to use against her. Operation Renewal: The capture of Afina Petalwisp or Crystal, Knight of the Stars for breeding programs with selected infernal knights. Plan is not yet in motion. Operation Silence: Assassination of Makaril, rogue angel of the Lower Polis. Suspect is currently at large.
5d. Timescale of plan: Ongoing and within a month, one day for capture and years for breeding, ongoing and indefinite for the last.

Willah speaks in a monotone, "Operation Inferno is progressing. Her location is known and measures are being prepared. The Duke of Destiny tells me I will lead this effort. Operation Renewal is being re-emphasized due to your changes. One of the Lord of the Fourth's dominators is being requisitioned to capture you and break your spirit."

[Ebiris]

"Seems like they're branching out beyond just leaving this to Bel," Afina observes casually. "Tell me about this dominator?"

[Anastasia]

"I do not know personal details," Willah replies.

"Interesting." Is all Ilsenine says, "Afina, when that problem shows itself before you, obliterate it."

[Ebiris]

"Naturally," Afina says. What's one more dead devil to her?

"Now, list and provide an overview of all projects you were directly overseeing before your capture."

[Anastasia]

"Operation Rose," Willah begins, "The conversion of mutated plant masses into receptacles for souls. The goal was to create plant-like golems that will patrol Lifasa and radiate energy conductive to proper Hellish growth. We are currently 86% done with gathering mutated plants and the souls are being prepared."

"Operation Chain. The excavation of cold iron irradiated with the energy unleashed when Lifasa fell. It will create a chains highly effective and holding and weakening natives of Lifasa. We are currently at 39% progress with mining it. No progress has been made on crafting as of yet."

"Operation Flamesky. I am to personally tutor and prepare a selected group of Lifasans to be slaves to Akil bin Faheem, an efreeti lord insulted by Aurora. Proper negotiations will lead to him pressuring the Grand Sultan to taking a stronger stance on the Aurora issue. This has not yet begun, as the slaves are still being selected."

"Operation Extermination. The ongoing attempt to find and exterminate Makaril, a rogue angel who leads a resistance against the correct order. My role in this has been minimal except to make reports, as he has not taken many actions in my territories."
