Both of you settle into meditate.

Afina loses hours lost in simple reflection. It is a dreaming reflection, where she sees glimpses of Ice all over. Para-elementals at work, play and battle. Snowstorms never-ending and vaster than entire Prime worlds. Places where things are so cold that nothing can move. Swirling vortexes that connect other icy planes to this one. Image after image passes through your mind as you meditate.

Jaela finds it a little different. She finds herself lost in past memories, detached. She feels nothing from them, a comfortable numbness spreading throughout you. Painful revelations, dulled by coldness so that you can functions better until the danger is past. Giving evil's blandishments the cold shoulder, refusing to be tempted by offers of wealth and power. A cold gale scything through your enemies, sharp as a blade and cleaving them apart.

You aren't sure how long it is when both of you come out of it. It's only because Mirajane loudly sneezes, enough to disturb all of you.

No grand revelations, just a greater understanding. Hearing Mirajane's sneeze she starts to breathe again and eases back from the edge before standing up, looking around to see how everyone else is similarly rousing themselves. "I'm not sure I found the coldest revelation, but it was instructive all the same."

"I found an interesting new way to look at cold," Jaela voices. "We'll have to compare notes once we're back. And on that note, do we teleport back from right here?"

[Anastasia]

"You are not ready to fall into Absolute Zero," the weird replies calmly, "So if you wish to return, merely jump in. You will be diverted back to the surface instead of allowed to reach Absolute Zero."

Hanna nods, "It was different," she agrees.

[Corwin]

"Thank you," Jaela tells the weird just as calmly, before taking the advice and jumping in.

How daring! "Thank you for the hospitality we've been shown here," Afina says to the weird before hopping off after Jaela.

[Anastasia]

The four of you jump and break apart as you fall. Hundreds of snowflakes as you are diffuse. You are many. You fall from above to the ground, reforming. The four of you stand on Ice's surface, bodies reassembling one snowflake at a time.

"Oh goodness," Mirajane checks herself over once it's done, "That felt so strange!"

[Corwin]

"I don't think I've been a swarm before," Jaela agrees. "Weird! But in a fun way!" Without much of a delay, she holds out her hands. "Let's teleport back to where I stashed the clothes before I gate us back?"

[Ebiris]

"Very," Afina agrees with Mirajane, a bit wide-eyed as she pats herself over before taking Jaela's hand.

Like that, the group returns to Aurora. As you head into the gates, "I think I'm going to go take a hot bath. Anyone want to join me?" Hanna says.

"I already have plans," Afina says, once more wrapped in her impromptu toga, although it's a bit stiff now from getting coated in frost while left out there. "Thank you all for accompanying me though."

"Pass, I think I've been naked enough today," Jaela tells her. "Have fun, though, Mom. I'm just gonna plan a trip to Fire."

[Anastasia]

Okay, cool. Plans you two? After that you'll be going to new topics.

[Corwin]

I want to handle some things in Aurora briefly, which are basically tracking down 27 for a quick chat, giving Dana her book and seeing if Morniel is back from visiting Vla'akith. After I want to gather a few people for a trip to Fire.

Afina will go see if Bubbles can back up her earlier flirting.
