To shut down any magical alarms they could sound/trigger. If it's psionic telepathy, I doubt it'll be affected, but magical stuff should get shut down by it.

Due to magic/psionics transparency, psionics are shut down by anti magic.

So basically just some stones with a permanent antimagic field on them?

An item of permanent antimagic field is 132,000 before Afina's 75% discount and 33,000 after. You'd need multiple based on things, at least six Kascha would guess, possibly more. Hence her saying this is a big expense.

Cutting corners to make them a 1/day thing would knock it down to 26,400 before Afina, which is more manageable.

Would have to do that. I only have 42k. 75% off of 26.4k is 6,600*6=39,600. I can cover it, but shit am I broke after.
