The Sword of Myr, again (Surraruthru)

[Anastasia]

Surraruthru returns to his hoard. There's some time for the little things in life - resorting your treasures just so, basking in the glow of what you have, daydreaming about getting more. It's lovely all told, until Kascha enters. "Oh, Surraruthru. Were you planning on continuing your efforts for Myr's Sword right away?"

[Iron Dragoon]

"Yes. Though, considering Vivanthia's comments, we should bring her into the planning. She may see something I can't."

[Anastasia]

A quick side trip gets Vivantha here. "You called?" she asks.

[Iron Dragoon]

"I did. You thought us unprepared last time, and I'll admit you weren't incorrect. I was hoping you'd be willing to help in the planning for our next attempt to find the sword."

[Anastasia]

"As you wish," Vivantha says, "What do you have so far?"

[Iron Dragoon]

Surraruthru goes into a detailed run down of all the info they've discovered about the Sword of Myr and Secretus.

[Anastasia]

"Alright, and then you teleported them back?" Vivantha repeats, "So is your plan to continue on that path?"

[Iron Dragoon]

"It what everything we've found out leads us to so far. If you can see something in it we've missed, please help us."

[Anastasia]

"Going a-wandering in Hades strikes me as a poor strategy," Vivantha says slowly, "Let alone that the lair of a daemon of secrets could be so easily ferreted out."

[Iron Dragoon]

"It wasn't easy. But it wasn't especially difficult to do, either. I'm guessing it's a trap of some sort. I'm expecting that Secretus knows we're looking for him to get the sword to show, and he's waiting for us to bring it to him. I'm not sure what to do about that, though. It seems to follow Aurora's typical battle strategy to walk into things we know are traps."

[Anastasia]

"Aurora itself is a tremendous force multiplier," Vivantha points out, "Being able to direct a nearly invincible fortress up to anything we wish invalidates many traps altogether. We don't have that luxury for this. Yet...'

"Hm?" Kascha asks, "Do you have an idea?"

"Not in particular. Yet our best option seems to be to do that, for how likely are we to find out better things for a daemon of secrets?"

[Iron Dragoon]

"Truth be told, it'd be my preference to capture Secretus. I think he may be a bigger prize than the sword. But capture is always harder and more dangerous, so I'm unsure if it's possible."

[Anastasia]

"Do we know anything of his combat ability?" Kascha asks, "Facing a powerful daemon with no idea of what he can do is really dangerous!" She frowns at that, "He might have something that leaves us all helpless that we could stop with preparation."

[Iron Dragoon]

"Secrets. I imagine this includes a wide array of lost and forgotten magic and abilities. By his nature, we know almost nothing about  him. I exhausted almost all of my resources to get what we have. If you have other suggestions, then I will be entirely happy to pursue them."

[Anastasia]

"I could go and ask Seira in person," Kascha ventures, "She's never mentioned a Secretus, so she may not know, either."

"I could ask the lillend. We know many things, as we watch the Infinite Stair and those who travel it," Vivantha ponders, "They may know of him."
