"Go on," Mirajane pauses before the portal, "But let's talk about this somewhere private." She goes through, leading you into the war room. It's currently empty.

Moore flies through with her.

"I think that just fighting Him isn't enough. Winning against Him in a battle won't really give us a victory." Moore explains.

"As a spawn of something as hateful and awful as what He came from... I think it's important that we also have something on our side that He couldn't possibly use -- love, and the positive emotions that go along with it." He holds a hand up to stop the inevitable look and question of whether his sanity is already gone.

"My theory is this -- as a creature that was spawned from the worst the Abyss has to offer, He has never witnessed love, He cannot understand it, because He is filled with hatred, malice and insanity. It's my belief that if he really want to rid Creation of Him in our confrontation, we must best Him not only in combat, but also by somehow filling the void that was wrenched from him by his progenitors." Moore explains.

"I realize it sounds... foolish, perhaps, but I simply do not believe that He can merely be defeated by sword and magic alone."

Anastasia

"That may be true," Mirajane says, and then gently adds, "That's why I say you smite him with 21 until there's nothing left. If that fails, how do you propose to do what you say?"

"It might come to the divine intervention of someone like Sune." Moore admits. "However, since I don't think I can just conjure than from nothing, I was going to go to Her realm and more or less try and find it... or something like that. When we fought Sehanine Moonbow, we were gifted with a drop of her blood -- I feel like we can find something similar, but instead of granting power, it simply has the pure, unfettered compassion and joy within it."

Anastasia

"If you can have that, it's a good idea as any," Mirajane says, "I would imagine it would deeply hurt him."

Moore nods. "I'm not stupid, I don't think just throwing positive emotions at Him is going to turn him into a A Real Human Being or something... but I think the more things like this that we have -- outside of magic and steel... I think we can send His soul somewhere other than back to the Abyss."

Anastasia

"There's one problem with an assumption there. The Valgadda Codex, which is no more, said The Father is cast out of the outer planes altogether. I'm not sure where his soul would go if we destroy his body." Mirajane says.

"Well, you don't have to follow everything destiny's written, right?" Moore responds with a beaming smile. "I think if we can get what I'd like from Sune's realm, we may be able to somehow get His soul sent to her, to be loved forever... or something like that. I don't really know what her faith does with the afterlife."

Anastasia

"Things that my mother things I'm not ready for," Mirajane cracks a slight smile, "If you can get Sune to take him."

Moore nods. "Then it sounds as if my next goal is to go... uh... ..." He rubs his chin. "To the library because I have absolutely no idea where to even go. Actually, Mirajane, I have a question for you..." There's some trepidation and hesitation, but he takes in a breath. " ...When you look at me, do you see light? I... ...mm." He bites his bottom lip. "You've probably seen it since I came here, right? Or something like that?"

Anastasia

"No, not like that," Mirajane says, "You're not like mother who constantly shines because of the magic she uses."

"What is it like? I mean... it's probably hard to explain, but I'm curious." Moore says, sounding less hesitant. "I found some answers in Celestia about it, so... I'm trying to face it, rather than just ignore it."

Anastasia

"I can cast the spell she uses for that, if you'd like to see directly," Mirajane offers. "It's equivalent to a daylight spell."

Moore smiles. "I've seen it when we were defending Aurora a few weeks ago. Maybe when the matter with Him is dealt with I'll have you tell me everything you can see around me and my own light. inb the meantime, would you like to go with me on this adventure once I figure out where "there" is?"

Anastasia

"Yes," Mirajane says, "I could use more training and practice." With a grimace, "Mother and Grandmother showed me I have a lot to learn, even with the skills I've been gifted with."
