Something. Something, something, something.

It slips away with a small bit of knowledge: You need more of the light. Closer. You have to be closer.

Moore takes a breath and relaxes. So he has to climb the mountain? That will simply have to come in time...

Will it?

"Am I ready to climb up?" Moore murmurs to himself. "No... I still have too many things to do. If I go up, I may not be able to come back down." He shuts his eyes for a moment and then takes out Muirfinn's diary. "...As long as I have this weight on my shoulders..."

Another breath as he looks up at the light in the sky.

"But if that's the case, then why do I keep having these..." He shakes his head. "Please, show me... if I'm not ready yet... then at least show me why it keeps happening." It's certainly to himself and to his bubble of silence around him, but he lays back down and looks at the ocean river.

...water? Didn't something... come from the water once?

He closes his eyes again and just tries to take a few moments to himself.

Anastasia

Moore composes himself, catching his breath. A sea of light.

The memory plays in his mind, of defiance against...something or someone. He just can't remember. You chose a life of danger over a life of safety.

Yet you feel as if something is on the tip of your tongue, on the edge of your mind. Close but you can't quite grasp it. Veren. His name was Veren.

As he sits, he listens to the silence around him. If he was there... in all that Light, then... what was at the end of it all?

They all got out. They're all somewhere -- someday, when he's ready, he can find them again.

That has to be enough for now...

No. If the others escaped, why aren't they here?

He can't be satisfied with that. He opens his eyes again and looks at the book. "It's because of you, isn't it." Moore says, an anger rising in his voice.

"You're the reason this is happening, you're trying to somehow push me back there... all of this started because of you, didn't it?" Again, he talks to no one but himself.

Another breath. Another and another. The light was poisonous, wasn't it?

"If I'm going to find them again, to find my answers, I have to solve you first, don't I?" He shakes his head. "I can't think clearly until then. I'm being selfish."

He rises from his place and heads back towards Cresiel and Elegy.

Anastasia

You rise up and immediately feel a wave of vertigo hit you.

Make an immediate Will save.

You feel dizzy, but it soon passes.

"You hold no power over me here." Moore says aloud. "Don't even try it."

He takes another breath. The bottom of the sea of light is a good place for you.

"Cresiel, Elegy, my apologies for keeping you waiting on me for so long." Moore says as he flies over to them.

Anastasia

Elegy is sitting with her legs together, half laying on the sand. Her eyes are closed but blink open immediately once you speak.

"Did you find the enlightenment you sought?" Cresiel asks.

Nephrite

"Yes and no." Moore says, sounding a bit dejected. "I need to go higher." He gestures up towards Chronias. "However, more pressing than that, I think I understand why I'm having my... let's call them episodes. That's the other thing I need to find while I'm here... a solution to that other issue." He looks to Cresiel for a moment before he smiles at Elegy. "I thank you very much for your food -- if you ever wish to visit Aurora, you are welcome to do so."

Anastasia

"You're welcome," Elegy says, 'You have a complicated life, don't you?"

Nephrite

"It seems that is the hand that fate has dealt me." Moore says with a smile. "If you are ever in need of anything, please do not hesitate to contact me if you are able. I will do whatever I can to help."

Anastasia

"Generous," Elegy says, as goodbyes are exchanged. Thus she goes off and...

Next move?
