The knight looks up, "Excuse me, I'm reading holy scripture. May this wait?"

<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Nephrite

"Ah, of course, my apologies." Moore says with an apologetic smile. "I'll come back."

Onto the dwarf!

Anastasia

The dwarf looks over. His voice is unusually soft, "Good day," he says, "May the wisdom of the Dwarffather guide all that you do. If you have a few minutes. I'd like to tell you more about Moradin."

<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Nephrite

"Sure, I've got the time." Moore says.

Take 10 for 59 on P if Moradin is relevant there, or 62 if R is relevant. Maybe Moore can impress the guy and fill in some gaps!

Anastasia

K:R is.

Moradin is the head of the dwarven pantheon. He's said to be the father of the dwarven race and an ally of Celestia. His divine realm, Erackinor, is deep within the hills of Solania, the Fourth Heaven. The armories there are said to be second to none, perhaps save to the armories of Jovar. Though you also know that both armories cooperate, so the question is largely moot, as the best celestial smiths and the best dwarven smiths work together. Your high level of knowledge also lets you know that Moradin is friends with Sealtiel, the 6th of the Hebdomad and lord of Jovar.

In a more mortal sense, the Dwarffather oversees crafting, forging of all kinds, stone work, law, good and the dwarven race. As a greater deity, is tremendously powerful and his clergy is numerous.

Nephrite

Well that explains all the dwarves he keeps running across!

Moore settles in to a chair to listen to what the other one has to say first, it'd be rude to just cut him off!

Anastasia

"Did you know that in the beginning, Moradin forged the Prime Material?" The dwarf asks, "That all of you fey sprung from the sparks of his hammer as he worked the world into its form?"

<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Nephrite

Would I know if that was actually a true statement or not? I mean, that sounds pretty 'yeah ooooooooookay sure buddy' to me!

Nephrite

You fool! I'll take 10 for 62 again!/i]

Anastasia

The stories about the beginning vary considerably from faith to faith. What's known is this:

1.There are differing accounts of the beginning of Creation. Different faiths have different myths.
2. Divination and magic to see Creation's formative days fail.
3. The deities and powers that were around for it aren't talking.

So this isn't unusual to hear.

<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Nephrite

"That is one interpretation." Moore says with a nod. "I'm sure Queen Titania would have you believe something else." He adds with a smile.

Anastasia

'Then let me correct what she's said," The dwarf smiles readily, "What has she taught you?"

Nephrite

"Ah, well I don't have any faith to Her Majesty, actually." Moore says. "I know that's probably a bit odd, isn't it? I actually follow Lord Erathaol -- so I'm familiar with a lot of the different mythos that differing faiths have. Ultimately, does it make that much of a difference who did what in the start of time? We're all so far past that that it seems like it makes more sense to look forward, doesn't it?"

Anastasia

Make a Diplo check there, -10 penalty.
