"Also, how did a xorn end up here?" Moonlight asks.

The shop itself is small - not a ton of space, all empty right now and with a single room in the back for storage. You can see it's all in good shape and the floor is solid stone. The xorn's steps still shake the entire building, making the ground vibrate.

"The price is 3,500 coins into an account of my choosing. Do you want it still?"

[Nephrite]

Moore will take 10 for 59 also.

"Those terms are fine." Moore says. There's no point in squabbling over where it's going.

[Anastasia]

The creature is an elder xorn, a native of the Earth. Odd things, especially to see one off of Earth. Not unheard of, just odd. They're noted as having all around vision, the ability to glide through earth like an earth elemental. They also eat metals and minerals and can't eat meat, so they rarely have trouble with fleshy creatures.

"Done," The xorn goes into the back, coming back with a contract. "Sign."

Moore will give it a once-over just to make sure it's not some sort of terrible devious plot for his soul!!!

Take 10 for... I dunno, contract law? Would that fall under a Knowledge? 35 in more or less all Knowledge checks that he doesn't have.

Profession: Lawyer would help, as would a similar skill.

The contract looks in order. There are a few notes of interesting, however. Pared down from legal jargon, they are:

1. You're stuck with the floor as is. If you can't earth glide to reach the basement, it's up to you to live with that or pay for the renovations to reach it.
2. You're on your own if any xorn come by and are angry.

"People mess up your basement before?" Moore asks as he signs. He can handle angry Xorn -- that's easy enough.

[Anastasia]

"Annoyances," The xorn says, signing as well. "Good luck."

Post the expense in loot.

[Nephrite]

Done.

Moore will basically play promoter here and try and drum up business by flying around and calling attention to the stall and singing the praises of ravages. Of course he'd be careful not to infringe on any Brightwater laws here!

Wow. With that level of self promotion and time, you soon have a steady stream of people interested in your shop. It's decidedly a good effort to prime people and get them ready - hard work, talking to many people and including some inevitable rejections, but by and large you succeed.

Okay, you've primed it up and I presume you'll have Moonlight selling?

Yep, at his point it's her product. If she needs help "selling" her selling Moore will help out.
