"Weeeelllllll, I still did bring that in and the solar wasn't happy about that. Even if I most likely have a good defense, I still did get caught red handed." Fantase says, "Look," his voice drops to exasperation, "The incarnation of primal Good didn't fry me like an egg. I count that as a win already."

[Yuthirin]

Calleigh scratches her head. "But it's a solar. They're big on the law and stuff. Right? If he knew you were on the level, he should have let you go. Probably. That sounds right in my head. But! We're wasting time that could be better spent not sitting in a visitation room with decor inspired by torture chambers! We can pay your bail if you're able to pay us back!"

[Anastasia]

"Deal!" Fantase says, offering his hand.

Patar, arms crossed and listening to it, "I hope this isn't a scheme. If it is..." He slams a fist into his palm, "We'll have words, merchant. I still remember Lorinmen."

"Aaah, hahahaha," Fantase waves that off, "Ancient history and misunderstandings. Now let's go make all of you quite materially satisfied! Do you happen to be able to portal to the Astral or will we need to pay for that?"

[Yuthirin]

"We'll need to pay for it, probably. Or we can go back to the Aurora and get a Gate from there. Actually, that's a good idea. You guys need gear, in case we get jumped by giths! Or astral dreadnaughts! Or illithids! Or wandering cosmic horrors!" Calleigh suggests.

[Anastasia]

"Or get some help," Patar suggests. "I've been some time since I've fought, so I'm out of practice."

"Yes, yes, the same as well. Mercane don't fight, that's what bodyguards are for. I can manage a few fireballs if have time to prepare." Fantase says.

[Yuthirin]

"Let's go recruit help then!"

Who are you looking to recruit here?

Anyone who wants to come I suppose. Preferable 1-2 people. At least one caster and a melee. Rosa and Moonlight are always preferred, Dana is welcome, and I have no preference on casters.

[Anastasia]

Rosa will bite on the first. For the second, what sort of caster?

Let's bring Mei this time, just to shake things up.

You get Rosa and Mei easily enough. Mei comes forward and nods firmly, while Rosa merely gives you a disinterested glance.

"Aurora," Rosa says crisply, "There are so many things to be done and improved. There are inefficiencies and errors everywhere. How can a crusade begin when there are so many things wrong? It's unacceptable."

Mei frowns herself and shakes her head, promptly going up to Rosa and smacking her across the face. She puts her hands on her hips and glares, waggling a finger.
