That's pretty unfortunate. "Canderella? Sylvie?" Jaela asks, going down a mental list of people nice to have in a pitched battle.

[Anastasia]

"Three alone shall stand tall, four will bring death and five ruin," Balyss repeats in many voices as one.

[Corwin]

"Four is death. Got it. Thanks!" Jaela says, deciding not to bother Balyss anymore and heads for the arch to meet with Afina and the others.

[Anastasia]

Are you going to still have Elena bring Simmer and Mirajane? You never countermanded that.

[Corwin]

Yeah.

[Anastasia]

Jaela, Afina, Mirajane, Simmer and the Master all gather by Aurora's gate.

"So what's this about?" Simmer asks, "Who needs to burn now?"

[Corwin]

"Thanks for coming," Jaela tells everyone. "Here's the thing. Balyss is channeling like crazy and her patron suggests we got Mala with that excursion to Lifasa. Apparently, she's hiding out below the lava under her exploded tower and nursing her wounds, but we have to strike now."

She frowns. "Apparently, it's not your battle," she goes on to say, nodding at Simmer and Mirajane, "so I'd like the two of you to stay ready to intervene if things go badly for us." Now, she turns towards Afina and the Master. "Assuming, of course, that the two of you are ready to go?"

"I exhausted my magic really badly against those Nessians," Afina says. "I'm still capable of defeating most single foes we might encounter, but I don't have the reserves to tackle large groups. Do you know what sort of defences she has?"

"Then we will," The Master says firmly. "Mala will lie broken at our feet within the hour."

In that case, Jaela arranges for another casting of interplanar telepathy to tie the five of them together and casts her usual combat spells before asking for Mirajane to open the gate and maintain it open for the time being.
