"Another attack," She gestures to the battle outside, "Gisfal reports we're winning, they're trying to take the Throne back. Word from Sylica again - they're doing well, as is the Cauldron. Makaril reports that the he's rallying the resistance as well. Overall things are going well."

"Good," Afina says, settling in by the gates as before. "I'll maintain station here to watch for intruders as before." Plus she's still in the telepathic loop for command and can make any executive decisions required while Jaela's on a mission. "As far as we know the main devil army under Harkin and Ettan is bottled up under Gar Malleos, so we'll look to press the attack further after cementing our hold here. Take advantage of their immobility."

[Anastasia]

Elena hums, "Um, Afina? I'm no general, but doesn't that sound like bait to you?"

"That's why the rest of us came back," Afina says. "But even if it's bait it can't exactly be ignored either."

[Anastasia]

"That's tough," Elena says, before Aurora shakes. The ground quakes as...

'General Afina,' Sage Vul'lath says, 'Something is trying to hit Aurora from beneath it. The force wall is holding.'

They have earth elementals deployed into the ground underneath Aurora to deal with any attacks that do get through the shield from that vantage. 'Vivantha please elevate Aurora further into the air?' she sends. Gisfal's probably too occupied to take a look, so... "Sylvie, Dana, come with me? We'll check it out," she says, flying out and down to have a look at what's beneath their mobile fortress.

'Please wait, adjusting deployments,' Vivantha sends, as the shaking stops. Aurora rises up, the three of you going to peek under. Nothing that you see, a few earth elementals peeking out of the cracked ground.

"Nothing... could be a diversion. We'll remain on station at the gate and can respond if it happens again," Afina says, flying back inside.
