"If we get them, we'll have all the sigils," Jaela says the obvious.

"Does seem an odd place to muster an army though..." Afina goes on. "I mean the whole point of this place is you can't teleport in or out, they'd have to march through miles of caves before being able to deploy anywhere. Are you really sure this is where they are?" she asks Balyss. It just doesn't add up.

[Anastasia]

"It doesn't," Balyss admits, "But we know a powerful force is interfering here now.The entire army could be bait to draw us in, but we knew that this might be bait, too."

[Yuthirin]

'We can't let maybes paralyze us. We may as well root them out now while we can.' Tryll replies.

[Iron Dragoon]

"It's bait, to be honest. That's what I expect. They put all the things we want in one place, a place that's designed to be difficult to escape from, and then followed it up with a tease about the Duke. They've destroyed the ley lines here already, so it's an honest toss up on what effect that'll have on both energy here and whatever trap is here. For all we know, the destruction could have been harnessed into a portal directly to the hells, helped along by Bel's presence here."

Surraruthru sighs and shakes his head. "In any case, we won't find out by staying here. Push on, but be prepared. A robed figure was down here earlier blasting those ice waves up at us. Who knows what else is next in his bag. I've been avoiding using spells and relying on my breath so far."

[Anastasia]

"We have a strong team to go deeper," Mirajane speaks up, "Should we all go in force, or is this too concentrated?"

[Yuthirin]

'We may be able to clear it out faster, but we risk leaving Aurora under-defended. I'd suggest sending one or two back. Preferably either Afina or Jaela, as they may use this to attack Aurora directly.'

[Ebiris]

"It does feel like putting a lot of eggs into a basket we already know is trapped," Afina agrees with Tryll. "I'm of less use right now so I'll return to Aurora to maintain our defences."

[Anastasia]

Dana, Balyss, Mirajane, Sylvie, Simmer, Jetina.

I absolutely do not want to run six NPCs here, so I suggest either sending a few back (preferable), or running a few entirely on y'all's end. Bringing this up OOC so it's y'all's choice.

Jetina should probably go back, since the group already has Jaela and Balyss for healing. Her plus Simmer or Dana, depending on who most wants to leave?

I'd also prefer to winnow it down to three or two for DMing upkeep reasons. I can do three, would prefer two, up to you all there, since you have three PCs here now.
