Iron Dragoon

Surraruthru follows the others, keeping an eye out for nearby loot as they go.
This is not the greatest post in the world, no... this is just a tribute.

Anastasia

Waiting on Jaela here, just to be clear.
<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.
<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Corwin

Jaela leads the way anew! And with a recasting of Sign!
<Steph> I might have made a terrible mistake

Anastasia

The tunnel leads ahead - and you hear it. Ther oar of a waterfall, the passage ending by coming out one. You can't see anything past it, roaring waters obscuring the view. Hunks of ice flow down it, cascading down rapidly.

Jaela breaks past the ice, riding the waterfall to its destination!

If my blindsight 60 notices anything untowards, please let me know.
<Steph> I might have made a terrible mistake

Anastasia

Nothing past it that you detect besides floor and open space, if that matters.

Ah, I see. In that case it'll look like I'm riding the water but I'll actually fly down very near it and stop in the air short of landing. Is there any obvious path, or it looks like a closed cavern?
<Steph> I might have made a terrible mistake

Anastasia

You'll find out once you get out, since blindsight doesn't show anything but not walls either, so it's a big place. Waiting a sec to give Yuth and Iddy a chance here as well as finish up the other topic's combat rounds.

Tryll and Calleigh keep pace with Jaela.
What if they're not stars at all? What if the night sky is full of titanic far-off lidless eyes, staring in all directions across eternity?

The party proceeds in. Here is a vast ice cavern several hundred feet wide and long. 80ft away stands eight massive ice para-elementals - primal elementals. You feel the power, all four blocking the way. Through their legs and distorted through the thick ice that makes them, you can see armies of lesser water, air and ice elementals, as well as devils. A scattering of them, leading the elemental armies, mostly gelugons.

Far beyond them is a throne of ice. To the side of the throne is a gelugon with a black spear, waiting and ready. Kneeling and resting her head on the figure on the throne's lap is a beautiful woman, icy and gorgeous. A trident rests near her as the figure on the throne strokes her hair. She seems unnatural, ice and flesh melded together. A cruel smirk rests on her lips.

The figure on the throne is dressed richly, like a foppish nobleman. He has a wide brimmed hat hiding his face, head bowed to hide his features. "Welcome, friends," he calls, a chuckle after. "I am not who you seek, but it is a pleasure to meet all of you nonetheless." His voice naturally carries across the icy chasm. "Bel offered so much to me, all to fight and destroy Aurora's leaders here."

The sensation of drowning returns, heavier this time, the taste of frigid salt water thick in your throat.

"Unless, of course, you would prefer to join me? But where are my manners?" The man reaches up and puts aside his hat, standing. A rapier is drawn, "I am Levistus." His features are fine, his hair slicked back and the color of coal. His ears are faintly pointed, and as the party looks at him, you believe you notice his teeth are the same - pointed. "You may have heard of me, and you know well you have no chance against a Lord of the Nine. But I am not an unkind master, and I would have an honored place for you, should you submit."

To the group, Tryll sends drily, 'I call bullshit on this. There's no way Asmodeus would let him out for this, and Bel's presence on Lifasa nearly destroyed the plane on its own. Team dispel?'

'I can cast a Rain of Desolation to try and soften them up a bit. I can also summon a Movanic Deva. Though I would do that with a Time Stop and then summon a Maw of Chaos on them as well. Or I can call a Malelephant, distasteful as it is. Jaela can focus on countering spells until we're set up. Other ideas?'

Yuthirin

Waiting on Jaela because time probably matters and we can't hold a conversation for more than a round without drawing attention.

Also does True Seeing reveal anything? CL 32

Anastasia

It does not. This seems completely real.
