"Hey mister king-man! Where's a place where the river ends and the sky begins?" Calleigh asks.
What if they're not stars at all? What if the night sky is full of titanic far-off lidless eyes, staring in all directions across eternity?

Anastasia

"Dawnfall," Dana's Father answers, "It's where the Arelle River is dammed into a lake."

"Yeah, that would fuckin' fit," Dana says, "It's a few days on horse back, so wanna make with the teleporting bullshit?"
<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.
<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Yuthirin

Tryll grabs the location from Dana's mind and-

"Bye mister king man! When we get back we'll repaint your throne room! Don't worry! We know Renbuu! We know what we're doing!"

-away they go!

Dawnfall is snowbound, snow falling. A good foot of it lies on the ground, a large road side town by a massive, frozen over lake. Not a lot is going on as you appear outside of it, perhaps people wisely inside during a storm like this.

Ebony pulls up her hood and looks ahead, "Is your home normally this chilly, Dana?"

"Nah," Dana says, "Must be having a nasty winter. So Squid-Man, let's go and find some fucking cultists."

Calleigh gives a sloppy salute as Tryll breaks off and starts silently and mostly invisibly passing through homes to check inside. He also checks basements and cellars, too.

"So what, we stick here and be snowmen?" Dana grumbles as Tryll goes.

Any rhyme or reason here, or just going through the possibilities?

"Betcha they've got a tavern or something!" Calleigh replies.

No stone will be un-phased-through.

Make a general Perception check.

By and large, it's normal people. Unremarkable. Just basements and normal lives, nothing odd at all. Until you phase through one basement wall - and to your surprise, there's a room beyond it, despite no door being there to open to it. More of a hallway, really, going on to another door on the far side.

This might be what he's looking for! Tryll proceeds cautiously, remaining almost fully-phased into the wall to avoid detection.

Anastasia

The room beyond is largely empty, save for dozens of braziers, dark and cold. No sign of fire in them. They're all clustered around the middle, where a heap of ashes lies.

Tryll manifest True Seeing to check for trickery before entering the room properly!

Nothing like that.
