Gravity. Pressure. You are in a muck filled cavern, the gravity much stronger than usual, like on Earth. A cavern covered in filth, a winding chasm ahead with a single stone bridge over it. Beyond that is indistinct, distance turning into a wavering haze.

Looks like the distortion has reached into Earth, and a small pocket of it can be accessed through that. So right now you're on the Elemental Plane of Earth. Fortunately, going ahead should lead to something that takes you back to the ship.
