Alyssa sighs and closes her eyes in great frustration before getting up and going to her balcony to see what it is.

Jarem follows, scratching at his chin. "Hey Alyssa, do you ever feel the urge to say things like, 'I'm too old for this'?"

Floating outside of your window is a ball of purple light. An eye is within the light, peering right at you.

It's a scrying sensor. Someone's going to some trouble to make one so obvious and easily seen, as they're normally invisible.

Alyssa stares at it flatly.

"What? You're being excessively rude. There are far more people here than just myself."

Anything about this that'll help me identify who it is?

[Anastasia]

Not just from this.

"I'm sorry," A voice comes, a woman's voice. "This seemed more polite than just teleporting in. Ah, but if it's still rude, I apologize."

[Iron Dragoon]

"If you're capable of this, a sending would have been just fine. Still, apology accepted. Would you be so kind as to introduce yourself?"

[Anastasia]

"Oh. Um, I'm...can I do this anonymously a little longer?" The voice sounds openly embarrassed, "I just heard stories about how powerful you've become and I thought I'd drop in, since it sounds interesting."

Jarem shakes his head as he smiles, "Word gets around, doesn't it?"

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa raises an eyebrow.

"You were considering teleporting in and remaining anonymous? You put a giant purple eye in the sky over an entire guild of mages. I don't doubt there will be research into who you are regardless if I encourage it or not. At this point, being anonymous will attract more attention than simply introducing yourself."

[Anastasia]

"Can you just trust me at this? I'm new, okay?" The woman says, a hint of peevishness. "Please." Her voice softens on that.

[Iron Dragoon]

"I can... However, understand that this choice lays suspicion on you, and I won't be able to do much to stop the others."

[Anastasia]

"...the others? Do you mean the rest of...your guild?" Her voice hesitates there.

[Iron Dragoon]

"And the clerics. And the regents. Yes, they will likely all investigate."
