Clang! Alicia brings up her sword, parrying islands all around her. Alien life, singing a song that makes no noise. Immoral liability. A question of a hand that is not a hand at all. Screws in the firmament. A ten fold path that leads to the eleventh.

Alicia is untouched, unharmed. Antenora continues to float ahead, unknown.

She's never really fought something like this. Any time she's battled creatures of Beyond it's been while they were inside Creation, forcing themselves to fit into its rules even if not quite succeeding. That time she and Latha ended up here she ran away before properly engaging in combat.

But she's not sure if - talented as she may be at conventional violence - just using sword and spell is the right approach here. She'll try being different anyway and if it doesn't work... well, her reality extends as far as her sword does and that's plenty! 'Don't get too hung up on its appearance, I'm going to try something new here,' she sends back to Syala.
