Okay, what are you looking for in particular?

[Nephrite]

Names, locations of slave traders
Names, locations of other slavers
Anything else useful (locations of weapons, treasuries that the efreet have, important news, etc).

You can be general / generic about the information, he's basically looking for 'where did the slaves come from' and that sort of thing. Any efreeti treasuries and that sort of thing would also be good.

[Anastasia]

Most of the slavers are efreeti, though some are devils, dao, mercane and more assorted things yet. An aboleth or two, a couple of gith factions, one particular slaad group - they deal in a lot of slaves. Locations vary as well, but you get them.

I'll go into more detail there later, but it takes prep time I'll spend on it tonight or tomorrow.

As you finish that sweep and move to weapons, the door opens. Kaja comes in, carrying a mug in hand. "Off studying rather than celebrating, Moore?"

[Nephrite]

"I've had enough celebrations for one mortal lifetime, probably two." Moore admits with a smile. "I'm not much for alcohol either, I always preferred fruit juices. I know, I'm boring." A laugh at that.

"I'll admit, we didn't manage to do everything I wanted to do there... but it isn't like Salty Pier is going anywhere." Moore says with a smile. "You did a really great job, by the way."

[Anastasia]

"So did you," Kaja comes in and sits against the wall, having a pull from his drink. "Aaaah. That's good. Have to admit, you're better than I thought you were."

[Nephrite]

"I haven't perfected the art of getting people to look at me and be awed." Moore admits. "Regardless, I've found what I am good at and I know I do it well. I'm really happy to have you as part of our team and I'm glad to hear that you know I'm not just a bag of hot air, to excuse the pun considering where we just were."

[Anastasia]

"Hah!" Kaja throws his head back and laughs. "No you aren't."

That's when you feel it. A connection, a bond between you and Kaja. It's stirring.

[Nephrite]

"...There it is again." Moore says with a smile. "No, I don't know what that was either." He admits. "It seems to keep happening as I grow closer in understanding to everyone here."

[Anastasia]

"There's even more to you than it seems," Kaja finishes his drink off and gives you a long look, "Eh?"

[Nephrite]

"It's got something to do with bonds." Moore says. "I don't know how or why, but that's my current gut feeling on the matter. There are a lot of pieces moving here and there all over Creation and it seems like forming bonds with people has some sort of tangible impact."

He shakes his head. "We can worry about it later, the mystery's not going to get solved today. Everything going all right down there? I've got a few more locations for us to hit going forward, I think we can put a real dent in their operations and probably uncover a lot more leads on Sharrans by doing so. Slavery is really up her alley, I think... the despair and loss you feel from being made a slave... ugh." He almost spits in disgust. "It's revolting that anyone would ever feel like they get to treat someone else that way."

[Anastasia]

"Yeah," Kaja agrees, "You know what else I've learned traveling?" After a beat he goes on, "People are unbelievable. Just when you think someone won't go lower, you find slavers."

[Nephrite]

"There's worse out there, I admit." Moore says with a frown. "Even so, I think this is a worthy investment of our time. You turn over one rock and find all sorts of refuse living under it."

[Anastasia]

"That's us, cosmos garbage men," Kaja shakes his head as he stands, "Also, I heard about your swordsmanship. Where'd you learn moves like that?"

[Nephrite]

"I think you're overselling it." Moore says with a laugh. "I'm just able to motivate myself the same way as I do you all. Maybe I picked up a few things from watching Afina take several stabs at devils." He smiles a little at that. "It's the first time I've had to do anything like that... maybe it was just instinct."

[Anastasia]

"Hell of an instinct," Kaja says before heading out, "I'm going to go get another drink, have fun back here. Find some devils for us to hit next time."
