Nephrite

By that logic, shouldn't the door have shocked him? Since he's non-neutral in at least one aspect (the good one).

Anastasia

If it's NOT non neutral, sorry. A word got lost there.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Nephrite

GOT IT!

"Well..." Moore murmurs before he looks to see if he can just open the door. "Sometimes, I really wish I knew disintegrate."

Anastasia

"Allow me," Xandra steps forward, "I shall handle it if nothing responds to knocking or less extreme efforts."

"Really? I was going to try my best Cresiel impression, but by all means." Moore says as he gets out of the way.

"I'm not usually one to try and break in unannounced... this has all the trappings of something that doesn't make sense and so I think it bears investigation." He adds.

Anastasia

As you talk, the door abruptly begins to open, a long, metallic creaking sound following.

"It's almost too cliche to be believable, isn't it?" Moore says as he patiently waits for the door to be opened.

Switching to charisma aura.

Anastasia

Jetina advances, shield ready, while Xandra floats behind you. The door opens just enough for a figure to emerge - a man carved of solid stone, bearded and in ceremonial armor. He moves with a grace and fluidity unlike stone at all as he says, "Visitors, what is your purpose here?"

"We originally came here in search of Oghma." Moore explains, honestly.

"We started to explore and happened to find this place. We had a run-in with the..." e gestures behind them. "The ambient magic that's made itself alive out here, so we wanted to talk to the owner to understand what goes on here to cause something like that to happen."

Anastasia

"So, you come to a random workshop and just hope Oghma's here, while butting into things that are not your business?" The golem asks, right to the point.

Moore offers a shrug and a smile. "Mm... to say we came here, specifically, hoping Oghma would be here isn't quite right." He corrects with one finger pointing up.

"We did happen upon this place by chance, I agree. Though there were several signs of danger present in it for some reason, so we, well, I suppose I, decided to investigate and see what was going on." Moore explains. "Is it customary to throw out magical junk into your yard, for example?"

Anastasia

"Peace," Xandra murmurs, coming forth, her voice carrying in spite of its low tone.

"Hmph," The stone man watches all of you with a vaguely unhappy frown, "And you're the type who charge into danger rather than prudently avoiding it? Especially if you can loot things from it after you kill it?"

"We're not the type of adventurers that just get blinded by treasure." Moore says. "You can take that at its face value or not, but I'd like to think the celestial company I keep proves I'm at least moderately truthy."

He offers a smile. "Truly, we'd just like to learn what's going on here. If you or your master choose to not divulge that information then we have no right to barge in further, unless whatever goes on here benefits those we do battle with, such as Shar and the forces of Hell."

Anastasia

"Gond save me," The stone man groans, "It's the morality guards, here to check if I have sufficient ideological purity. Good day." The stone man steps back, the door beginning to close itself firmly shut.

"At least try and clean up your yard so no one gets eaten by the sentient magical trash pile! Good luck with your... whatever it is you do!" Moore calls out as he turns away to start going back.

"There's no sense in pressing in unnecessarily. I don't think we have any reason to believe anything of ill-repute is happening here and we may as well just keep exploring." Moore says.
