"That was mine," she affirms, turning back towards Oberuth. "Does Ajan think Io elevated others throughout the recent years? Or have any idea how we could get in contact with Io? I'd like to have a brief chat."

[Anastasia]

"He thinks it's possible - whatever Io's brought, he thinks it's outside ofw hat was expected," Oberuth says. "His words exactly. Wherever Io is, however, he doesn't know."

[Corwin]

"Does he know how to contact Io in such a way that he would respond? Or have any idea why Io has started moving lately after millennia of absence?"

[Anastasia]

"Send messages to him, but he fears Io won't respond so easily," Oberuth says, "I doubt he will, have you tried?"

[Corwin]

"Didn't want to do it too early, in case it was my one chance," Seira responds with a shrug. "I don't suppose he had any ideas about 21?"

[Anastasia]

"Nothing helpful," Oberuth says, "Whatever 21 is, it wasn't something he knew much about."

[Corwin]

"Did Ajan know why Io withdrew from Creation in the first place? Or has any idea why Io is working from behind the scenes like that?" Seira asks curiously, returning to the important topic.

[Anastasia]

A glance above this time, Oberuth's gaze - hm. You can see it, the dark rings less now. As if slowly fading, his gaze sharper, more alert.

"On that he told me much," Oberuth says, "He said that a dragon that dies ceases to grow, and only reflects on the perfection it sought in life. This is Io's great quest, perfection above all and all others. He believes Io left in pursuit of perfection and self growth, is certain of it."

"Alright," Seira concludes, having gotten enough information to keep going for the time being. "We'll revisit the matter of the God-King later, then. I hope you'll be able to make advances there soon, Oberuth, but if you need a more direct intervention from me, just say the word and I'll be there."

[Anastasia]

"Are you going back to the Cauldron?" Oberuth asks, "I need to rest, no matter how much I don't need to. Maybe something will work after all this carnage."

"I'm thinking of trying something new," Seira responds, planning on paying a visit to Zaaman Rul.
