The exact effect depends on the type and quality of the beacon, but they essentially force teleports within the radius to appear in a certain location, overriding normal targeting.

And how powerful is this one? More powerful than what I can manage with a divert teleport?

"It's a full teleport beacon of one mile - the only flaw is that it's damaged. It's stable, but the range fluctuates. You'd want to repair it for reliable use," Jeras says, "I was thinking 150,000 gold for it."

Outside of anything Emily has to suggest and some idle wandering/window shopping, not that I can think of... Actually, some Ioun Stones. I'm interested in an Orange stone, but I'd also be interested in a full run of the stat ones, if I could get something other than an enhancement bonus on them, since it doesn't stack with my belt. If not, I'll just get the orange one and save to improve my belt.

Getting an orange stone is simple enough, go post the expense in loot. Non enhancement bonus stat boosts aren't for sale at the current time.

"Oh, everything. Well, Mom Seira has some powerful magic of all kinds and Mom Amaryl has some powerful magic, too, like her greater arrow mind spell, but she's more of a dabbler, she's not quite to the 9th circle. Really just a hobby," Emily nods along. "She's way better with a bow and arrow, especially setting things on fire with fire hot enough to burn fiends and elementals."
